However, I don't think…read morethe attendant knew much about their merchandise when asked to identify plants with no labels as they could not provide a clear answer, not a huge deal but...it's a plant store. Other than that, its a good selection of plants but be careful. Upon close investigation, some plants have mealy bugs, particularly the p. brandtianums (theyre so pretty, too). This is the sort of inspective rigor I'd expect a plant store to have down, and it's understood that some may sneak past QC, but once you see one plant in store that has it, it's not hard to wonder if some may have it too. In summation, bring some knowledge going in because they have a good selection and repot ASAP, spray bug repellant and quarantine plants when buying from this store. So the owner has replied and agreed she sells plants with bugs! Good luck! EDIT: So the owner has replied in the most uncalled for manner. Read the owners classist response for yourself. There's Otto, a skeleton dated from at least the 1870s, a ton of taxidermy, porcupine quills, apothecary jars, a bunch of taxidermied animals, and so many other interesting curiosities to look at. While the vast majority of items are for sale, I would honestly call Mudlark Oddities more of a museum than anything. Many of us do not have the space nor the correct temperature and humidity to store taxidermied specimens. As much as I wanted to purchase the horseshoe crab skeleton, it was super fragile, and unless we had a spare box, I had no way of safely transporting it in our car. We spent at least a half hour in the store perusing all the cool pieces of history, and I took a ton of pictures to commemorate our visit. The staff were friendly, and I ended up getting a small metal bird-shaped bejeweled trinket holder as well as a few stickers. I'd love to visit Mudlark Oddities again the next time we're in Seattle! What a unique place!

We had an absolute blast from start to finish. What I loved most was how hands-on and interactive the class was. They provide recipe reference cards if you want guidance, but they also encourage you to experiment, get creative, and build cocktails your own way in their "lab." It felt less like a class and more like being a bartender for the day. The selection of ingredients was incredible--from an extensive range of spirits, liqueurs, and mixers to an impressive collection of dehydrated fruits, herbs, and spices. Learning how to use these ingredients to infuse flavor into cocktails was fascinating, and the smoking techniques they demonstrated added another level of creativity to the experience. A special shoutout to Jen, who was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire session fun and approachable, whether you were a beginner or an experienced cocktail enthusiast. Another thing I really appreciated is that they offer both cocktail and mocktail options, making the experience enjoyable for everyone. They also host private events and team-building sessions at office locations (where permitted), which would make for such a fun and unique work event. I can't wait to do this again. Whether you're planning a date night, a get-together with friends, or a team outing, this is an experience I'd wholeheartedly recommend.
