There's Otto, a skeleton dated from at least the 1870s, a ton of taxidermy, porcupine quills, apothecary jars, a bunch of taxidermied animals, and so many other interesting curiosities to look at. While the vast majority of items are for sale, I would honestly call Mudlark Oddities more of a museum than anything. Many of us do not have the space nor the correct temperature and humidity to store taxidermied specimens. As much as I wanted to purchase the horseshoe crab skeleton, it was super fragile, and unless we had a spare box, I had no way of safely transporting it in our car. We spent at least a half hour in the store perusing all the cool pieces of history, and I took a ton of pictures to commemorate our visit. The staff were friendly, and I ended up getting a small metal bird-shaped bejeweled trinket holder as well as a few stickers. I'd love to visit Mudlark Oddities again the next time we're in Seattle!
