I saw the Thai Combo massage on the menu that intrigued me. I sent a message via yelp and got in the same day. Thai massage is a deep tissue massage where they hold onto bars mounted to the ceiling and use their feet to get extra pressure. I love firm pressure so this felt amazing. Sophia was incredible. It was easily one of the best 3 massages I've ever had. The other two were in Africa and Peru after hiking the Inca trail. If you love firm pressure you have to treat yourself to this fantastic massage style and I whole heartedly recommend Sophia.

I ended up getting an hour-long foot and calf massage, and honestly, it was completely worth it, especially for how affordable it was. There was a slight language barrier between me and Tom, who was my massage therapist, which caused a little confusion at the start. I also tend to prefer heavier pressure, and I wasn't really able to communicate that clearly because of the language barrier--but even with that, it was still a solid, relaxing massage. It was my first time at an open-concept massage place, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but it felt clean, relaxing, and well-kept. Overall, a great experience--I'd definitely go back after another long day on the court.
