The fries were pretty good and so are their dipping sauces. However, the entrees are lacking. I've definitely had worse though. My wife had their pasta and I had the salmon. The pasta tasted like it was made with store bought Alfredo and the chicken crumbled and had an unsavory flavor. My salmon was dry and over seasoned. The waitress we had was good but I wanted a slice of lemon for my salmon but I had to eat my fish because it was getting cold and she still never got my lemon. I was super skeptical when coming here because of the price but it's actually really good! I got the Plain Jane burger with bacon and Monterrey cheese and it was so good! I like that they have it on a ciabatta bun instead of a regular bun. It wasn't the best burger I've ever had for the price but it was definitely good. Also the garlic fries are a must. And the restaurant itself is super cute if you're looking for a place with a nice atmosphere. Nice little grease joint. Good place to stop in at if you have no concern for cholesterol or fear of spontaneous combustion. Sit close to a fire extinguishers just Incase. I ate here opening day. The wait time was very slow the first day but that was because it just opened! The service was amazing and I love the decor of the place. My food was good. Disappointing day at Red Rabbit Grill today. I was in a hurry and only had an hour for lunch. I've been trying to eat healthy and naturally turned to Red Rabbit Grill. I love the food here (only reason they got three stars today). I called for a takeout order at 1:05. They told me it should be ready in 20 minutes. I show up at 1:28, pay for my food and they say that it was almost ready. I sat and waited...and waited. Watched them come in and out of the kitchen many times. No food. Finally at 1:45 I asked if my food was ready and that I had been waiting a long time and had to go. She says she will go check. A few minutes later she came back with the food. The chicken which is normally warm was very cold. However, since it is a salad, that is forgivable. The review was for the complete disregard of a takeout order. No apologies, no explanations. Red Rabbit Grill, I hope you check these reviews out, because it could save you more unhappy reviews. Train your employees to respect every customer no matter if they oder takeout or eat in the restaurant. read more

It's alright. My husband and I have been in a few different times over the course of a few months. We have only gone here when one of us got a coupon at work or were invited by another couple. When we went about a month or so ago we were so impressed with the service and the food we got. That night our waitress took my husbands bison burger off the ticket because he really hated it and she noticed that he didn't eat any of his food. We were totally willing to pay it because that is what he ordered so it was very kind of her to do so. Although, tonight we went out with some friends and everything was just blah. Our food didn't taste that great and the service was really slow. We made a joke at our table that we only saw the server when one of us drank all of the water and was looking around for her. The food seems to either be really good or not so great depending on who the cook is that night. And same with the service. I have been here two times before and was happy with my meal. They are now under new management and the experience was not good. The Philly cheese stake had changed a lot, it was now more just like ground beef and also the portions were a lot smaller then before. We asked for it with out mayo, it came with mayo. So the first time I went here, the food was ok, the mashed potatoes seemed like cafeteria dehydrated pellets. The chicken fried steak was too dry. The service did have a nice touch of "we care about you" and I liked that. This last time I waited 16 mins for my waiter to show up to get me a drink, by that time we already knew what to order. So we waited 40 mins for a chicken salad sandwich and a burger... when it arrived it, the fries were just warm, and the burger was cool. I liked the taste of the burger but it wasn't up to par. I just had the most delicious home-made breakfast! Red Rabbit where have you been hiding?! I came up to visit family for memorial weekend. My mother suggested we try out a new place in town...wow! I was impressed! I hade two huge warm sour cream pancakes with juicy sausage, real eggs and blow your mouth away hash browns! It's hard to describe so the best thing I can say is home-made! Some family has been enjoying this breakfast for years and they decided to share it. I grew up in Rexburg and there has never been an amazing place to have breakfast. The typical breakfast joint isn't made for large families. When we pulled up with my four children, wife and my parents I thought for sure we would send the red rabbit associates sprawling for space...I was wrong! They have large booth style tables that fit all of us very comfortably. So excited we came up this memorial weekend and got breakfast at Red Rabbit! I'll be back! read more

This was my first experience with Red Rabbit Grill, and I was very disappointed. Considering there was only one girl working the floor, I would say the service was quick and she was very pleasant and polite. However she was also running the register and acting as hostess, so her time was split between those and waitressing. The music in the restaurant was awful, song after song dropping F bombs and talking about sex. I thought maybe one of the cooks in the back had plugged in his personal iPod because he was yelling and singing at the top of his lungs. It made me uncomfortable. I ordered the sirloin steak, cooked well done. It came out completely raw. I sent it back asking again for well done, and the waitress returned it partially raw. Again, I sent it back, asking for it to be well done. Second time cooking it seemed to do the trick, though the steak was unlike any steak I had ever tried. It was rubbery and almost meatloaf like in texture. My husband ordered the chicken strips and he said they looked and tasted like they were from the freezer section of a grocery store. After dropping off the check the waitress offered us a free slice of cake for the inconvenience, and while that was nice, our opinion and taste had already been spoiled.
