I came to the Red Plum for dinner before a show my friend and I were seeing at The Emelin Theatre. Choice of indoor and outdoor seating. Multiple dining rooms accomodated the many people who came to dine after we got there. Complimentary noodles are not served here so appetizers are recommended! There are many people working there so service is good but I felt rushed! Soup or salad comes with your dinner. I chose the wanton soup served with szechuan wantons! The soup has a very unique taste, its very good and nothing like I've ever had before. My main dish was hibachi shrimp served with lo mein noodles. They do not have yum yum sauce for the rice but instead their version of it, along with another type of brown sauce. I was not a fan of either sauce. They offered a nice selection of desserts but it was getting late so we passed on it! I would eat here again because although I didn't have the greatest experience dining here this time, the food is very fresh, big portions and a popular place but I'll try an American chinese dish next time!

I've been to red plum a few times and my experience has been varied depending on the time and how busy they are. If you come close to closing some servers make you feel unwelcome. The food is consistent and the prices are not too bad. My most recent visit was for one of my niece's birthday dinners. I decided to go with a few of my favorites... Drinks: Lady Dragon & Lychee Martini App: Duck Roll Entrée: General Tśo Chicken Overall a solid spot for some Asian cuisine. Just A Note: They have happy hour and parking can be hard to come by.

I came here with my gf after an evening at spin class. I had the shakes and needed some food in my system. She suggested that we come here for dinner. I found parking around the corner but for a Thursday night, street parking spots were slim to none. The hostess sat us immediately. They were pretty busy and we didn't realize that it was close to closing. We ordered our food and soon after, our server went MIA. I told her that I wanted to also order some take out and she said she should be right back, that I would have to order withing 10 minutes, but she never returned. My dining companion saw her eating in the back with another employee. There was another server that was supposed to take over for our server, I'm guessing. She seemed to try to avoid our table at all costs. If I caught eye contact, she seemed to go in a different direction. She was abrasive and acted as though she was upset she had to handle our table as well. Carlos, a busser, was very observant. He noticed that we were having difficulty getting service to come to our table. He was very attentive and would stop by to make sure we had everything we needed. We asked him for some things but did not want to inundate him, as it was not his job. Eventually, the server stopped by our table and took my takeout order. Trying to pay the bill and getting containers for leftovers took some time as well. Carlos retrieved some containers for us and manager stopped by our table to handle our bill. I definitely won't come here when it's busy. They're not super expensive but it's not worth sitting someplace where the person tending to your table is acting like they don't want to be there, and that you're an inconvenience. The food was great. We shared the duck rolls and sashimi pizza. The rolls were tortillas, Stuffed with duck and veggies. It was served with a hkisin honey mustard sauce. The sashimi pizza looked so small when I first received it but it's got a ton of flavor. It was also on a tortilla, topped wtih tuna, salmon, white tuna, avocado and a sauce with tobiko. It was amazing and they used a torch on something because you could taste the smoky flavor. I opted for a couple rolls. I had a salmon skin hand roll which was good, and a fantastic roll, with tuna yellowtail, salmon, avocado, cucke, tobiko and scallion in a special seaweed roll. It tasted so good! My friend had the General Tso's chicken with brown rice. It came with a choice of soup or salde and she opted for the latter. It was a large portion and she had leftovers. I brought home chicken teriyaki for hubbs and that was also a large serving, and my son had their red curry with duck. Both dishes came with choice of soup or salad, and I got them both miso soup. Everything was packaged with car and made it home without issue. I'd probably only ever get takeout from them, if I'd drive that far.

Red Plum is still rocking after all these years in the village! I was happy to see it thriving and seats all filled outside and inside. Running around and really got enticed by the crowded outdoor seating so we stopped in for some lunch. Salmon and Beef Negimaki Bento boxes. Things that stood out were that they didn't break up the kani stick for the California roll (most places now halved them for lunch specials), they still serve 3 shumais (many places had lowered count to two), the teriyaki was very flavorful and the proteins were both cooked to perfection--so tender. The Ginger dressing is not the best I've ever had and the service is a bit dry/quick. It makes sense for a busy place but I didn't mind everything that we ordered.

For being in Westchester, I think it's a valid Asian/Sushi restaurant. The fish didn't feel the most fresh compared to other places. They have some Thai/Chinese dishes along with Sushi but options are limited. Ambiance is good with a dark-ish lighting. Service is mid. Usually good for small parties for dine-in, but I've had 2 Graduation Parties with 30+ people in the back space here before.

I had a very nice lunch there. We sat outside, and I started off with a mai tai. For lunch, I ordered the basil chicken dish with a salad. My girlfriend ordered steamed chicken with broccoli with garlic sauce on the side. My mai tai was great, very flavorful. The food came out and it looked stunning, adorned with fresh flowers. The basil chicken was excellent, and the salad was cold and crisp with a wonderful ginger dressing. My friend loved her steamed chicken dish, especially since she could add the sauce that she desired. Service was excellent, our waitress was very friendly and nice. All in all, it was a great experience.

Make a reservation!! Service is amazing, staff know what they're doing! Very clean. It's quite dark in the restaurant and my grandmother had a hard time reading the menu. The restaurant gets quite loud during dinner rush. I ordered the spicy crunchy salmon roll, but received a salmon roll with soggy tempura and no spice at all. I ate it anyways, as their salmon tastes fresh!

Sashimi, yuzu yellowtail,

Chicken lettuce wrap: so good, always a classic hit, no complaints Sushi: very good classic rolls cant complain either Sashimi and yellowtail: really good the sushi rice in the sashimi is so good and so is the fish, the yellowtail was very good too and the sauce it was in was amazing

Best rock climbing gym in North America . Goated climbs, people, vibe, everything you want and need.read more

Great time here at the Rock Club…read more Purchased a Groupon and decided to visit on a Friday morning. Called ahead and the front desk staff were very quick in getting back to me to confirm that a belayer was available at that time. They also confirmed the Groupon over the phone. I went ahead and completed the required waiver forms online prior to our visit. Adequate parking was available at that time. The Rock Club (downstairs) shares its space with a with a tennis club, so make sure you follow the ramp down toward the Rock Club entrance and NOT the stairs whih leads to the tennis club. We arrived at around 10am and it was fairly empty. The Rock Club staff explained the process and set us up with climbing shoes. We were then introduced to our belayer who was awesome. Over the next hour, we tried climbs ranging in difficulty. The wall heights range from about 35-40 feet and the peg placement and wall angles vary throughout the climbs, making some more difficult than others. We even had some time to try some bouldering. Our belayer was great at explaining techniques and technical terms. She was very patient and very encouraging...though not "pushy" at all. After we finished, the staff was nice enough to show us around to see what else was available at the facility: childrens area, common areas, training rooms and weight rooms. May go without saying...wear comfy clothes. As a regular gym-goer, but someone who has NOT climbed before, this was a welcomed challenge. Certain muscles, particularly the forearms and core, may not be part of the typical gym regimen...but are very important in climbing...that being said, I was definitely feeling it the next day. Overall we had a great experience at the Rock Club. We will deinifitely look into other classes. Kudos to all the staff members there.
