This experience was SO SO amazing!!! Just finished snowmobiling for 2 hours and they took us on the best route with the best scenery. They cancelled my ride tmw due to potential rain, which understandable. But they also cancel riding today, and its been sunny all day - a little chilly. But theres no bad weather. Just lazy company in my opinion that doesn't want to work. Because the weather is fine today. read more

I highly recommend red pine adventures for the most fun snowmobiling tour when in park city. Making reservations for our party of 6 was a breeze. This is so fun, our tour guides Jenny, roger and some one with a "C" so hard to hear with masks.. were so amazing and helpful! This was the most fun 90 min adventure, very high quality snowmobiles. They showed us how to go down a hill, I was so scared but our guides helped and encouraged so I could do it! We went up 9000 feet elevation.. some of the most scenic views. We even got about 20 mins of free time riding the snowmobiles our way.. so fun!! read more

While visiting Park City a cpl weeks ago we booked this as one of our activities while we were there and trust me when I tell you it is well worth it especially if you like riding horses or if you're a beginner looking to try something new. Started off with a meet and greet with the owner and staff and right off the bat they made you feel comfortable and we're going to make sure we had a great time. After our group was saddled up and acquainted with each of our amazing and friendly horses we were ready to ride. Our guide was Lauren and her trusty steed was Cheyanne and they lead us on an amazing ride, with awesome views, and a very memorable time. I definitely recommend this company for an amazing time you will not be disappointed!!! read more

If you want the most scenic view on the mountain, this snow mobile tour is the best way to do it!! The staff are extremely knowledgeable about the surrounding areas & very friendly. They ensure you are comfortable and safe the entire ride. Never once did I feel unsafe. They outfitted us with all the proper gear to stay warm & protected. The trails were well kept with a variety of views from the aspens, to the mountains to the valley! You could even see Wyoming from one of the stops! There is wildlife all around and we got to see a moose from the trail. I look forward to this adventure every year we visit Utah and will be back next winter! read more

Excellent operator! They may seem more expensive at first than other operators in town, but they provide free shuttle service and equipment which actually makes them a way better deal. Not to mention guides are SO sweet. Great snowmobiling experience on a gorgeous trail! read more

We had 2 sleds, my 16 year old daughter drove one and I drove the other. Machines and trails were all in great shape. Went up over 9,000 feet! Even saw a moose up close! I took my best friend here for a surprised birthday horseback riding experience. Booking the reservation was super easy as they operate 7 days a week (weather permitting) and have a number of great time slots. We arrived 15 minutes early, as instructed, and were quickly greeted and checked in by our guide Jenny. For our ride, Roger and Jenny fitted us to horses and made sure that all the necessary saddle adjustments were made for our comfort. They went over the simple commands for the horses and we set out on the trail. Our ride was gorgeous, being a Utah native it is hard do show me something new, but the views and nature were lovely! Our guides were great conversation and very attentive to make sure that we all kept up and were comfortable. They adjusted the route as necessary, since nature is unpredictable. We loved our time here. I am already thinking about bringing my boyfriend back for an adventure later this summer. read more

Highly recommend! All tour guides were friendly and patient. The price includes using their snow boots, snow suit, goggles etc if needed - as someone who isn't in the snow much / doesn't want to purchase snow gear this was a great perk! I was the passenger on a 2 seater and the ride was so comfortable on their snow mobiles. I enjoyed the ride up/down the mountain was at a leisure but still good speed and there was a chance to go as fast as you want at the meadow. 100% would recommend this to anyone wanting to check snowmobiling off their bucket list. We did a private group of 7 for 2 hours of snowmobiling. They picked us up promptly, and we checked in, got our gear, and headed out. We were dropped off at the star of the trail in the Colony. Our guides were Kelly and Jenny. They gave a quick but descriptive overview of how to operate the machines, what to do/not to do, etc. and we were on our way! It had just snowed the day before so we got some good fresh snow - it was awesome! They took us through some trails before we got to an open meadow. We went down a hill and had time to just go around and do our thing before we continued on some more narrow trails through trees. Our guides were friendly, professional, and were so patient with us for all the times we asked them to take photos of our group. You get some amazing views! It was clear when we started and started snowing when we got higher up to the look out/ ridge so visibility was a little more limited but you could still see the old mine. I've gone snowmobiling 2 other times in Mammoth and this experience was 100x better. So worth it! Highly recommend! read more

We did the hour and half horseback riding this last weekend and it was one of the best experiences we've ever had. What a gorgeous property to ride on. I highly suggest going during this time of year when the leaves are changing - it's stunning. Absolutely loved our ride with Red Pine! From the moment we arrived and started getting ready, we felt welcomed. Roger was fabulous at knowing which horses fit both of our experience levels. My wife has ridden for many years and myself for only a few but both of us matched up well with our horses. The trails were beautiful and we saw 2 mule deer! DO NOT trust this company. I would give Red Pine adventures 0 stars if it were possible. We scheduled a Christmas Eve snowmobile tour in November. We did not hear anything back from them until the morning before we were schedule to ride. They claimed the weather made them cancel but other companies were still up and operating normally. We called Wasatch Excursions and they were completely accommodating and added us to there schedule at the last minute. Thank you Wasatch Excursions for coming through for us when Red Pine adventures completely dropped the ball! read more

Absolutely love my experience with Red Pine Adventures! We went horseback riding for part of my bachelorette weekend in park city and I have to say it was the highlight of our trip. Everyone absolutely loved it and we continue to talk about it. It was an Amazing guided tour, the staff was super welcoming and friendly. A family run business that you can tell takes pride in what they do. That makes the experience even better! The views from the mountains are amazing and the nature/landscape is absolutely beautiful. Something about being in nature on the horses was so relaxing and serene. Also cannot forget how cute their two ranch kitchens and dog was. I would give this place 3.5 stars if I could. I had never been Snowmobiling before, and it was definitely quite the experience. I've been four wheelin' before, so it just seemed natural to give it a shot. The cost is about $132 after taxes for 2 hours of riding. What you get for the two hours is about 45 minutes of free-play time in two areas, and guided tour through some terrain. I'm a big fan of effin around on our own, so it was good to get a good amount of play time in. First the guides will take you into a meadow where you can get used to the sled and open things up if you want to. We did this for about 20 minutes or so, the meadow is really big and empty so it was cool. Then we went in through the trees (I loved this part!) on some really skinny trails, suuuper cutty. And they brought us to the next open area. Second area was a lot better since it was larger and there was much more to see. They take you this huuge hill which was pretty awesome. Then after about another 25 minutes, they take you through some more trees and to this look out of park city. Pretty cool! After all of that, they take you back to van for a ride back to their cabin. In the cabin there was a bunch of photos with celebs like Karl Malone, Katie Couric...Not sure if that means they're good or not...hah. The guides were just OK I think, very hands off. Not very informative, but it was still cool. I heard Daniels Summit is really good, we tried to go there, but it ended up being too far from where we were. read more

CHOSE RED PINE! For my birthday this year I wanted to ride horses- relive a few childhood memories and find a ride fun enough for adults. Living locally, I researched all of the stables, called a few and chose Red Pine. Here's why today's ride was phenomenal and I would recommend to anyone: 1. Friendly rangers and horses with great temperaments. Everyone was ready to have a good, energetic ride while eliminating the stresses that can come with horses. 2. The ride was spectacular! The trail took you into the forest and along wide lookout paths. You felt adventurous while crossing streams and looking out over Park City while remaining on comfortable trails at all times. 3. Priced great! Most other stables cost as much for a shorter ride. 4. No boredom. When you think group horse ride you think slow trail walking, you falling asleep, the hour dragging by in boredom. This is their greatest achievement in my opinion!! The ride is incredibly engaging - you maneuver your horse through streams, trails surrounded by wild vegetation and up rocky slopes. They keep a nice pace and the terrain transitions so many times there is always a new challenge. 5. Comfortable accommodations: not only do they spend extra time making you comfortable with your saddle, they also provide bags for personal belongings and water after the ride! 6. Conveniently located near the highway. You aren't spending thirty minutes trekking to nowhere to get the same great views. read more

Took the snowmobile ride. It didn't travel as high as some of its competitors, didn't have as much space to travel but it was close by and was a decent time. The thing that bothered me most was after paying about $215 plus a good tip, I couldn't even get a callback from one of the tour guides, Hayley after three phone calls and assurances to do so. Since we weren't sure of how safe our cellphone would be travelling at high speed through heavy snow, we didn't take our phone with us. We simply asked Hayley to take a video of us. It seemed like he did so. But when we asked him to call us back so he could email us, no return phone call, no attempt, NADA. We even left a message for the company and again no call back, poor service! read more

Had a great time snowboarding! The staff and especially "Bayou" David was really cool and helpful. The helmets given to us had GoPro mounts already in place so we were able to snap on our GoPros and record all our runs. Btw, snowmobiles had handle warmers but still bring your own gloves (take your own ski goggles as well). read more

What an amazing afternoon we had horseback riding. We highly recommend Red Pine Adventures. We have a 10 year old daughter and she was very nervous about riding and one of our guides Jen was absolutely excellent with JiJi, made her feel so comfortable. The ride was unbelievable, we rode through a forest and streams and we literally rode up a mountain and when we reached the top the views were absolutely breathtaking. Ben another guide rode behind me and he was so sweet and a great conversationalist. Another guide Jennifer took great pictures of our family. Great day riding horses. Don't expect to set off running, this is a nice ride up through the aspens and pine trees along a ski slope. The horses are gentle and your trail guides stay with you the entire way up and back. If you're under 18 you must wear a helmet. I saw a teenager try to flake out on her parents because she didn't want to take down her messy bun and wear a helmet so prepare yourself ahead of time. It can get chilly so bring a jacket. I rode Scout. He was a little slow and liked to eat. My husband rode Commander a nice big horse with great coloring. My daughter rode McClintock a great big gassy fellow who was still gentle for a teenager - who didn't care if her hair got messed up. read more

Very disappointed in our experience. I called to insure there was enough snow and was told yes. We were not taken to the normal location, but had to take a van ride then to the Canyons gondola , wait in line to ride up. We then had to sit on the trail waiting for them to dig out several teenagers who would go off the trail. This happened numerous times and the guides did not stop the two teenagers from getting off the trail. Much of our two hour tour was spent, in transportation to the location and waiting on the trail. My biggest disappointment was I requested a call from the general manager and did not get one. I would suggest Daniels Summit or Thousand Peaks. read more

I guess you can't fix stupid!

When we get to this location, after the first morning (in my own room) I woke up with more than 10 bug bites all over my body. The pattern resembled that a bed bugs, in clusters of 3-4 bites in various areas. Not thinking, I asked for my linens to be changed and fortunately I did not have bug bites the following night. I reached out to their customer service asking if they could refund the first night on account of the fact that the room was far from comfortable and left bug bites all over my body that lasted about 2 weeks (they are still visible now). They refused and said they had no evidence of bed bugs. I reached out to their corporate office and they brushed me off. While I will likely never be compensated for the gross room at least I can warn others, just go somewhere else. This company cares more about profit than their guest's comfort.

The Canyons Resort has opened a Zip Line that is hands down the best one up in Park City!!!…read more The Red Pine Zip Tour adventure is a thrill, you start your adventure at the bottom of the ski resort, buy your ticket in the sports shop at the base and ride up in an enclosed gondola that seats 4 comfortable and maybe 6 in the winter. Great views, and then get off at mid- mountain to meet your guide. After signing your life away on a simple form you get outfitted with your harness, helmut and zip line back pack. Quick walk to the training center, which is a mini zip line that is about 20 feet long and 10 feet off the ground. You learn how to hold on, go fast, slow down and stop. Then down you go. Pretty simple. Then a short walk to the Red Pine Zip Line for two rides. After being hooked up, you and a friend race down a real zip line. This time it's long high and a bit scary, well not really, well kinda ..but boy is it a thrill. Your $20 gets you two rides and that's enough for many. BUT for $25 dollars more you get the deluxe package which gets you a ride on the LOOK OUT ZIP LINE. Yeah it's a bit pricer, but worth it! The Red Pines is similar to the Park City Resort Zip Line but the LOOK OUT is the big one up here, and worth the price. You and your guide take a short hike down a path and climb on the SHORT CUT ski lift and ride up to the other zip line. This time you are going to be really high, and going to go really fast our guide said 25 vs 40mph and your going 2200 feet vs 880 feet. I must admit is was a lot scary than the first one. My teenagers loved it, I kinda closed my eyes for part of it. Hard to admit. But had to open them up as I needed to watch the guide's instructions to slow down and stop. You control how fast and how slow you go. They have a back up safety way to stop if your a total Spaz, which I was not. Short walk back to the mid-mountain which has a restaurant for lunch or snacks and then nice ride back down the gondola. This is a great adventure. I think you need to be 10 or older, weigh between 50-260lbs and be taller than 48 inches to ride. Our guide says they are open in the winter and that when it is snowing this it is really a great ride. I think I will be down skiing but it is a great option for someone who doesn't ski or snowboard, as you can get up the mountain and will get a both a scenic view of the mountains and the action below.
