Drew was awesome! My boyfriend and I were escaping COVID for a couple weeks and drove to Utah. We called the same day and surprisingly they weren't as busy and told us to pull up! This was my first ATV ride without being with a guide and that was amazing! Drew gave us a map and let us loose. We did the 4 hours and it was totally worth it! You won't regret it.

A great full day riding. Incredible boys trip. Drew was knowledgeable and gave great insights about the trip. Highly recommended.

Our Family rented a Razor for a few hours and we had a great time. I highly recommend contacting Drew for your rental needs.

A must for visitors and residents alike! Summer in Utah is amazing , 80F days and long sunny days invite an extraordinary choice of outdoor activities. I have enjoyed almost everything that is on offer apart from a RZR. A RZR is an ATV type of thing, not a car, not a dirt bike or standard one person ATV. It is a four seater off road vehicle and when you rent one here it is actually street legal , yes license plates, seat belts, rear view mirrors, turn signals, roll cage and NO helmets needed. Brilliant. So pick up on Main St. in Midway and drive through the streets until you reach the trailheads above Soldier Hollow Golf Course. The trails here are extensive, up the mountains and into the forest at almost 10,000 feet. The RZR is fast and easy to drive. These machines cost in excess of $20,000 so if you plan to use infrequently it is a couple of hundred dollars very well spent. Drew was excellent and I will be back soon. PS You get very dirty so bring sunglasses and don't wear your best outdoor cool clothes.

My family and I had a day in Salt Lake before flying back home to Chicago. We wanted to do something fun and exciting. We have a 19 yo son and a 23 yo daughter. We had spent the week touring the #Mighty5, so we did not want any more hiking. We thought off-roading would be fun. I called Midway and Drew (owner) said he had opening for an afternoon trip. (We were heading up from Cedar City so it was perfect timing for us.) He put us on one of his brand new Polaris 1000XP's. He gave us a thorough explanation about the machine and the trail we were going to go on. (There was even a cooler on the back filled with ice for our water/Gatorade!) He cracked many jokes during his briefing. We were able to follow the map he gave us to a T!! To say we had a blast is an understatement!! Exhilarating!! When we got back, Casey was there. He was extremely nice as well. Drew met up with us as we were leaving and even recommended a great restaurant with and amazing patio, Back40. We would HIGHLY recommend Midway Adventures.....and Back40!!

We had a great time!…read more First and foremost dress for the weather and most definitely wear snow boots. The ground is icy and slushy and uneven. I even suggest wool socks to keep your toes warm. Snow pants are also ideal too if have them. We went at 4:30pm so we got to see the ice castles both during the day and at night as the sun went down around 5:45/6pm. By 6pm it was getting very crowded and hard to walk through but it was so fun seeing it all lit up. We did the sleigh ride. Our driver was excellent! He was very informative and told funny jokes. I forgot his name but he made the freezing cold sleigh ride a lot more fun! I didn't realize that the sleigh ride had lights throughout so we barely got to see those since it was still light out. But it was still neat. We paid for the souvenir photo and you get one printed out, and the others emailed to you. They have a small gift shop at the end and to be honest I wish they had one at the front selling the hand warmers because I would have bought some! But having them available for purchase at the end wasn't helpful in my opinion. They had a small stand for hot cocoa and bite sized goodies to snack on, but because it was the only place to purchase the lines were awfully long. I would suggest opening another food truck up or something to encourage more people to purchase. I would have loved a hot cocoa to stay warm. They had a few small propane fire pits throughout to stand and warm up. They had a few ice slides for the kids to go on and one for adults too. That was neat. There were several ice tunnels to walk through and they get crowded. It would be nice if they had them going one way routes because they tended to get backed up with people trying to get through in the opposite direction. There were ice sculptures like a unicorn and a throne. There are trivial facts throughout that inform you of how the ice castles are made, how many artisans it takes to make them, how many pounds of ice, etc. Overall we really enjoyed the experience. I'd love to go again, but I also think it could be a do once experience.

I've wanted to go to the Ice Castles for years and so glad I finally did! My boyfriend and I went…read moreon an off-peak day and it was totally worth it. There were pretty much no lines and the amount of people there and parking was super manageable. Be sure to bundle up and wear good shoes with traction. We loved watching the fire show and going down their ice slide.

This is a very unique experience that I won't soon forget. Pricey so may be a one time experience,…read morebut if you are reconsidering it... I say do it once! They say that over 10,000 years ago the Homestead Crater was formed when melting snow along the Wasatch Mountains mixed with heated geothermal hot springs 2 miles below the earths surface started spewing out water and picking up minerals such as limestone which were then deposited above the earths surface forming a volcano or "beehive" like formation. A Swiss settler discovered it in the late 1800's and named it a hot pot. Originally visitors had to be lowered into it via cable. As of the mid 1990's there is now access via a tunnel. We of course had to check it out and I'm so glad we got to experience it and learn about the history. It wasn't as hot as I had expected it to be, and while I initially thought 50 min was not enough of an experience, it most certainly was.

The swim/soak for 40 minutes in the natural crater is a 5/5 experience! The cost is $30 per person…read more(a little pricey), and the water temperature is usually high 90s Fahrenheit (cooler than a typical hot tub). Lockers and changing rooms (but not showers or bathrooms) are available for your items after you enter the crater. The online purchase to reserve your spot was easy. You should bring your own towel and lock for a locker. The Homestead facility is currently undergoing construction, so I realize the check in experience may improve later. The signs for parking and check in locations were confusing and/or incorrect, and multiple employees with an H polo didn't help us with finding the lot when we were clearly looping around among construction unsure where to go. I'd recommend to Homestead to remove/cover the arrow sign to the crater on Bluff Rd until that construction is complete. Additionally, I recommend better check-in signage on the beige activities building since this busy country club has many "activities" from tennis to golf that aren't necessarily linked to the crater. Temporary A-frame signs would be sufficient. I felt safe in the crater with the required life vest, and we signed waivers before entering. The view from the top of the crater is lovely if you're willing to climb a few dozen steps.
