We had a lot of fun here today! We planned accordingly and wore Snow pants and snow boots and coats and gloves, I highly recommend the same. I saw people in tennis shoes and crocks, no way!! You need the gear to go down the slides made of ice and to triage in the snow. We got our workout in for sure. I'd plan for 30-40 minutes. It was beautiful and the slides were the best part, fun for all!! We will be back, next time at night to see the lights and have a little butt more magical fun!

It was a cute experience. I think it's more so good if you're a family with kids, as they get to run around and play in the different caves. My husband and I did one quick walk through, took a couple of pictures and were ready to go. It was nice and the price wasn't crazy for what it was. I would say... would I do it again? No. But it was cool to at least see it. The horse sleigh ride was nice, but there wasn't much scenery. I would say don't spend your money on it.

Small take of what is our there.

This is awesome family fun for all. Do dress up warm and bring snow pants / water resistant clothing. There are structures for kids to climb/slide down on. Boots are highly recommended.

This was a nice experience. We started with a sleigh ride, which was longer than I was expecting. We saw a bunch of deer too. It was crowded and there were a bunch of people who were taking senior pictures or they were influencers and they were blocking the entrances to some of the castles. I think they should've limited that. The ground had a lot of loose snow versus being more shoveled. That made it challenging to walk around. I wish I had worn taller boots.

Ice Castles is an amazing winter wonderland! This is a must visit anytime we have out of town guests come during the winter. It truly never disappoints! They have caves, tunnels, slides! It's something the whole family can enjoy while building memories. We love going at night when it's all lit up with different colors. It really adds to the magic.

It is a cool experience to be around, it doesn't have a lot to do, but it is something that needs to be checked off from a to-do list. They have a horse ride, but I think it's better on the day. At night you can still see, but I think it looks better during the day. The ice castles I do think are better at night. They do have fresh churros, I think these have been the best fresh churros I've ever tried.

We traveled from San Diego for the ice castles and enjoyed it. Initially from the parking lot, they looked smaller than in photos however once you're inside they do feel taller than they appear from far away. It seems like it was a warmer year, as some of the caves had started to melt but you cannot predict what will happen with nature. They were very pretty and it was beautiful to see all of the castles and details and go down the slide. I wish there were more lights as advertised but it was still pretty. We arrived around 4:45 and saw them during daylight, then did a 5:30 sleigh ride and walked around one more time at night. I would probably skip the sleigh ride as there was t much to see however it was a long ride for the cost if that's something you enjoy. They also sold hot cocoa and had clean porta-potties which made for an overall nice experience. Would recommend snow pants if you plan to go down the slides. Soldier Hollow also has tubing until 4:30pm so if you want to make the most of everything you could go tubing at some point before or after your reservation as it is literally next door up the hill.

Love this place. It may be a bit overpriced but that's what discount codes are for ;) We had to make an appointment to go so I made one a week in advance and there were a few slots left. It was a freezing cold evening but we had so much fun and stayed for about an hour and a half. The kids could've stayed probably another hour playing on the slides and walking through the caves. We've been here twice and I'm sure we'll be back in the future.

What a wonderful experience! I came here twice: morning and evening on different days of course. The first time I came here was extremely busy because someone posted online hoax that Elsa from Frozen was going to be there opening day and unfortunately, she was nowhere to be found. The second time was in the evening had all the bright lights and a fire show. Although there were tons of kids/Elsas running around, I prefer the daytime views than the light shows at night. You can see more of the detail in the ice structures, you get better lighting for pictures, and the best part is that it's also warmer! Night time, it's extremely cold. It was 14 degrees when I went at 9pm and I felt like an ice sculpture. The changing color of lights are pretty awesome and silhouettes are cool but it's not worth the cold! I got a little bit of ice in my socks and my feet became wet making it even mire cold! Highly recommend snow boots. I had on waterproof hiking boots, but all the ice/snow you pick up just walking around will still get in your socks. There's cool ice chairs, slippery slides, and little tunnels to walk through. Really cool experience if you're coming here for the first time. The lines for the slides may be about 10-15 minute wait, but those 15 seconds are so worth it! Hot cocoa and is served in cups or souvenir cups to help stay warm. Come prepared!

Loved this Ice Castle at night. I ordered timed tickets on line, but many people walked up to the ticket windows. It's for families of all ages. My young adult sons came and enjoyed it since we were on vacation. The castle is pretty with colored lights, and it's fun to look for hidden things. We went down the slides and took pictures. Wear snow pants and boots. It's cold, and you need them. The snowy sand-like ground could be difficult to walk on if someone had a balance problem. Parking is free. This is located on Soldier Hollow Lane next to the sledding hill.

Yes, it's cold outside. But put on your coat and snow pants and check this place out. It's worth it. I promise. Purchase tickets online- daytime if you want a tiny bit warmer and less crowded, nighttime if you want to see the lights. Bonus if you come around 5:30-6 when the sun is just setting. Makes for some beautiful pictures. Once you get your ticket, you walk a short distance and find yourself surrounded by ice. There are tunnels, walkways, even a slide. (Snow pants make this part much more enjoyable-both for speed and warmth.) Grab a snack or hot chocolate while you're wandering. The churros looked delicious but I didn't try one. Next time.

This place is apparently not known by many, considering that I posted on social media, and no one had a clue. This has to be one of the best winter sites in the world! We chase the snow and travel to tons of winter destinations, and nothing compares to this magical Winter Wonderland. The best part is it is convenient to get to add not dangerous like going to natural formations that look similar to this. We were lucky to encounter this in the middle of a snowstorm, which made it even more magical.

Beautiful place! If you are spending some vacation in Park City, you have to come here. It is worth it!

Too many kids running around!

And at the milk house they overcharged and when I pointed it out they made some strange excuse. And the quiche was $11! For that small slice This is a hidden gem but you can't expect too much. Initially, I thought this was a high-end resort, but without the high-end resort prices. And it's definitely not that you should think of it more as sort of a fancy cottage that has almost a family run feel. If you think of it this way then you won't expect too much and then it makes a lot more sense. Everyone here seems like they're trying very hard . And I understand what was going on when we got there because there's a lot of construction going on. We also ate here for dinner in one of the globes and they're trying to serve multiple groups and people so service was kind of just ok. I have one gripe, though, it was $24 for two glasses of wine and each one was about the amount of a 1/2 glass. I think our server was pretty green though. It is a beautiful place. Absolutely beautiful and not crowded. The pool is incredible. The parking lot not so much. If you factor in the price though for what it is, I think you will realize this is a totally fine deal.

So imagine our surprise when we arrive for a two night stay during spring break at this "resort" and have no idea where to park as everything is under construction. We finally circle a dirt parking lot a few times trying to find a building to check-in but all we find is an empty golf cart saying guest services. I try repeatedly calling the office # on my reservation yet no one answers. We finally come across another family that tells us we can walk all the way around or wait until a golf cart arrives. Well we have several pieces of luggage so we wait. And wait. And wait. Then the golf cart shows up and there is no way we can fit all of our items on, so we had to wait for a second cart. The check-in process was fine except for the rude gal who seemed annoyed by my questions, like how long does the construction go on throughout the day. 6am-10pm by the way. There is a small "restaurant" on site called The Sunroom but is only open Friday & Saturday. The Milk House serves a few premade items that get heated up in a microwave and taste weeks old and during our stay one gal was taking care of the whole place. The room was okay. The pullout bed was awful and the patio would be nice if you enjoy listening to a huge jackhammer and the beeping noises of other construction vehicles from sunup till after sundown. The tv reception was hit & miss and there were no children's channels. There was a sound machine that helped slightly. The itty bitty bottles they left us for the shower did not suffice for 3 humans. Oh and if you need ice, you have to ask the front desk. The only highlight of our stay was the pools. They were enjoyable and each had a different temperature that could make you comfortable whether you like them cooler, warmer or hot. Also, everything is handled via text. They don't answer phones, and even texts take awhile to return. The day before we were to check out I asked specifically for a cart to pick us up at 11:30am, we waited and waited and no one showed up, so I then again texted asking for a pickup. This resort was expensive for just a decent room and a pool. The Best Western would have been nicer. They either need to make future guests more aware of the lack of amenities and discount the pricing for false advertisement. Eventually this is going to be a very nice Marriott resort and by then the price will have doubled for a stay. However, our family was beyond disappointed in the money paid for what should have been a relaxing getaway.

My very favorite thing about the home is the bathroom! It has a dry sauna, a steam shower, and a jacuzzi tub! The bed is a 4-post king with extra pillows and there's a fire place. There is also an individual temperature control unit in the room so that you can adjust it to your liking. The home has a classic look but feels very well kept and modernized. You can also choose your time for breakfast between 8 and 10am, which is convenient. Check in is at 3pm so I recommend you make a crater reservation at 2:30, go for a float and then get changed and head straight to the sauna. If you're visiting in winter you can relax in time to head over to the ice castles (same parking lot as the crater) and/or go ice-skating at the rink. Overall, very happy with the stay.

We decided to stay in the Woodland room. It was comfortable, included a nice patio, an amazing huge jacuzzi, dry sauna, shower with steam capabilities, and a very comfortable bed. We spent a TON of time in our room just relaxing and enjoying what was basically our own spa. There is no TV in the room, but you won't want one. They do have wifi though if you absolutely have to watch your Netflix. Every morning they also make breakfast for you! We had some absolutely amazing Belgian waffles with really great lemony drizzle, some melted butter, amazing fruit and more. The breakfasts were absolutely amazing and delicious. The hot chocolate was especially good! They also have popcorn, movies you can watch, and even some homemade cookies available throughout the day. If you decide to venture out of your room, here are some things to do in mid-December...Tubing at Soldier Hollow, Swimming at the Crater, ice skating in town, cross country skiing, and surely more things that I'm unaware of. I will say the food choices in Midway were pretty lacking, but that of course isn't the Invited Inn's fault. This was the perfect anniversary trip and one we will always remember and likely repeat!
