Wonderful bed and breakfast. Attention to detail was amazing, the inn keepers made us feel welcome and cared for right away. As mentioned in the website they do not have tv's in their rooms, but they do offer them if you just ask. It happened to be awful weather upon our arrival and so we opted to get one, they sent it up right away. We enjoyed the sauna, steam shower and jetted tub very much. The view of the mountain was beautiful. They offer slippers for all their guests which was wonderful as well. Breakfast was so yummy and I will forever eat my German pancakes as they taught us....go visit so you can learn the secret too!

Woodland Room: 2-person jacuzzi tub with fireplace that faces both the bathroom and the bedroom.

But the best part of this particular room is the private balcony, with an amazing view of Mount Timpanogos! We were on the top floor and never heard any noise from other guests. The B&B is walking distance to tons of great restaurants and shops, and local attractions like the train. It's just a couple blocks from a nice paved walk & bike path that connects Heber City to Midway. The one minor issue is we called a few days ahead for allergies as suggested (gluten), but it had no impact - the chef said they ran out of GF bread the day before our stay. Breakfast was still great though!

I took a bath every nice and it was very relaxing. The biggest highlight was the breakfast -- they had freshly baked blueberry muffins every morning. I tried the maple crêpe with bacon, and it was the perfect balance of sweet and savory. What's nice is that they also offer breakfast burritos to go if you're in a rush, made to order! The staff were so friendly, and the common area was homey and clean.

The food was fantastic, made with care, and far above what you usually find in a mountain lodge setting. The staff were genuinely friendly, attentive, and seemed to take real pride in the place. The dining room and bar have a rustic charm that feels authentic rather than staged, which adds to the overall atmosphere. A memorable stop and absolutely worth returning to.

Unfortunately, this visit was disappointing. We ordered a bison burger with fries, pulled pork poutine, and blue corn nachos. The fries were limp and cold. The nachos arrived with regular corn chips instead of blue corn and were also cold. The pulled pork poutine was cold as well, and the burger was overly salty. What made the experience worse was the lack of service. We waited about 30 minutes without being checked on while the manager appeared to visit other tables. After flagging down a server, it took additional time before we were assisted. I understand that restaurants can have off nights, but this visit fell well below expectations -- especially given the price point and past experiences. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as the location and atmosphere have always been a draw.

The person who checked us in said "I'm in your parking spot, but you can have it when I leave at 10pm tonight". We didn't say a thing, what we were supposed to say? 2) When we walked in, immediate stench of odor, reminiscent of a run down old folks home. 3) Entire room was dirty, dusty, cobwebs, including the jetted tub that smelled musty. 4) The pillow on the bed (see photo) inferring they don't launder their comforters, gross. 5) Breakfast was average; microwaved precooked bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, and French toast. Not terrible, not $225/night quality. 6) Guest book in the room with rules & places to dine around town is outdated; Iggys? Hoppers? Both out of business for several years now. 7) No where to put your suitcase or belongings, not even a luggage rack to keep belongings off the floor. They did have a coat rack in the restroom, which was weird and not useful. 8) The concept of themed rooms is cute, candidly, this place is not somewhere we would visit again.

So you had better be into "THAT VIBE". The worst first: You can check in, but you can never leave. :-) Watch the fine print. Their reservation is NON-Refundable. Meaning if you stay one night and it's miserable- like for instance, you were looking for water all night because your room is 104 degrees with no air and you are parched and got zero sleep-they aren't going to refund you the other two nights when you check out early. They had the audacity to offer a credit. As if I would EVER come back for another night of HELL? Also, why couldn't we find a water station? I was literally walking around at 2AM looking for a place to fill my water bottle. We just flew in from out of state, Park City is high altitude and the place is a literal inferno. Hello. Two bottles of water in the room isn't going to cut it. HOT & STUFFY They know this is a problem. There is a split A/C unit literally over the bed and a fan mounted next to that! But who wants AC blasting on them? ROOMS ARE CLAUSTROPHOBIC We had the two story suite and the worst night of our lives. The door to the room does not open completely. Same with the closet door which hits the bed. Lame design. That spiral staircase is an accident waiting to happen. Lame design. Tiny bedroom. THE CROWD- not a vibe. I like weird, but this was more like depressing nursing home living room vibe. STUPID SIGNS saying: "we do things different". Yeah, I'll say. I could have stayed at The Montage. CLAUSTROPHOBIA I felt like I was in The Shining or A LAME BED & BREAKFAST. We left before breakfast, but I imagine the whole place would smell like breakfast including you. DESIGN: I knew what I was getting into with the Shabby Chic looking photos online. They showed a bit of restraint, borderline frumpy that fits the bed and breakfast vibes. MANAGER: Thinks he is running the most exclusive, best hotel on earth. Offered us a credit for the two nights we wouldn't be staying after a night of HELL. He just looked at us with an aphasia and utter helplessness. Nothing he could do. Shampoos were toxic. The good: One star for being clean & I liked the implements in the bathroom. One star for effort & the money they spent to try to do something different.
