First, the owner not only provides luxurious accommodations, an open bar, a spa including indoor AND outdoor hot tubs and masseuses that can accommodate couples massages but also provides ski equipment including the latest skis, boots, poles and outerwear. Bring your own underwear. If you're an accomplished skier, try going out with the owner for a few runs. Disregard reports that several skiers died skiing with him. He takes unusual lines down slopes but he finds the pow pow. Let him go first. Excursions are available from this B&B to other areas including Alta and Snowbird as well as Heli and Cat. The owner will help arrange these but only if he goes and you drive and buy coffee. Meals are offered but you are required to shop and cook them. The guests are eclectic ranging from captains of industry to ski bums. The owner was once both. Evenings are entertaining but usually end early because after skiing, drinking and eating who can stay up? I would recommend this B&B to all vacationers looking for an exceptional mountain experience.

We later figured out they were closed because they had no screens. In one of the bedrooms the window was broken and couldn't be opened at all, this room was totally unusable due to the heat. We booked this property as we had two families and each room was allocated. We ended up having to use the couches in the living room as a bedroom. Despite the thermostat being turned all the way down the radiators were still on. Not ideal in 90+ degree days. WiFi never worked, Comcast remote was missing. We did have consistent communication with the property manager throughout the first half of the trip. We rebooted the router multiple times, but still no luck. They had whomever they use on-site to try to fix it, but still no luck. We were told that someone would bring a Comcast remote mid-day Monday. It didn't show up, and it didn't matter as we had no TV function anyway. The location was great, though. That is the ONLY redeeming factor of this property.

This is the perfect place to stay if you're looking for a cozy weekend getaway! It has a very…read moresimilar European theme as the rest of the town and it is less than a mile to the homestead crater and ice castles. The couple are very friendly and the home is very clean. My very favorite thing about the home is the bathroom! It has a dry sauna, a steam shower, and a jacuzzi tub! The bed is a 4-post king with extra pillows and there's a fire place. There is also an individual temperature control unit in the room so that you can adjust it to your liking. The home has a classic look but feels very well kept and modernized. You can also choose your time for breakfast between 8 and 10am, which is convenient. Check in is at 3pm so I recommend you make a crater reservation at 2:30, go for a float and then get changed and head straight to the sauna. If you're visiting in winter you can relax in time to head over to the ice castles (same parking lot as the crater) and/or go ice-skating at the rink. Overall, very happy with the stay.

We decided to stay in the Woodland room. It was comfortable, included a nice patio, an amazing huge jacuzzi, dry sauna, shower with steam capabilities, and a very comfortable bed. We spent a TON of time in our room just relaxing and enjoying what was basically our own spa. There is no TV in the room, but you won't want one. They do have wifi though if you absolutely have to watch your Netflix. Every morning they also make breakfast for you! We had some absolutely amazing Belgian waffles with really great lemony drizzle, some melted butter, amazing fruit and more. The breakfasts were absolutely amazing and delicious. The hot chocolate was especially good! They also have popcorn, movies you can watch, and even some homemade cookies available throughout the day. If you decide to venture out of your room, here are some things to do in mid-December...Tubing at Soldier Hollow, Swimming at the Crater, ice skating in town, cross country skiing, and surely more things that I'm unaware of. I will say the food choices in Midway were pretty lacking, but that of course isn't the Invited Inn's fault. This was the perfect anniversary trip and one we will always remember and likely repeat!
