I had my cartilage pierced for over a year (by a very reputable piercer) but came here to get it changed out to a gold hoop due to the fair pricing. I also decided to get my 2nd and 3rd lobes pierced. I should have backed out the second I saw the piercing gun. I'm pretty sure it's basically common knowledge at this point that ALL reputable piercers will ALWAYS use a needle (even on lobes) for numerous reasons I don't need to list here. But clumsy me is not confrontational and I just went with the gun thinking "oh well it's just my lobes, it should be fine". When he placed the dots on my ears I thought my first and second holes were placed too close together so I asked him to move them a bit and he jokingly remarked "Oh so you're basically just telling me I'm bad at my job", and even though it may have just been a joke I feel that you absolutely shouldn't joke like that with your customers, especially ones like me who already struggle advocating for themselves (clearly, lol). So he moved the dots a bit and though I still wasn't totally happy with them, I was put off by the initial joke and let him pierce it. Guess what, my left ear second hole still came out too close to my first hole (my earrings were literally touching) and it bothered me so much that I ended up taking my second hole on that ear out, letting it heal over, and re-piercing it myself later with a needle the way it should have been done in the first place. (p I'm also pretty sure this shop is the reason why I since had to retire my cartilage piercing which I had previously had no issues with. The piercer accidentally cut the back of my ear as he was changing it out and though the piercing hole itself felt fine, the cut definitely hurt. My cartilage ended up developing large bumps on both the front and back of the piercing and after trying to save it and reduce the bumps I eventually gave up and took the jewlery out. I believe the material of the jewlery may be the culprit as I am just now noticing (months later) that my third holes which still have their original jewlery in them purchased from this shop also have large bumps on the back and I'm worried I might have to give those up now as well:( read more

In my experience, I wanted 2 simple piercings on a Saturday, and while I understand that with more customers comes a large wait, I was explicitly told the wait would be 15 minutes. Instead of 15 minutes, I waited for about an hour. I would've simply appreciated honestly when asking, and it seems like a ploy to get customers who otherwise would've left after seeing a long line ahead of them. I had things to do but was stuck waiting for something I could've quickly gotten somewhere else. The piercer is not APP certified so there's no point of going to this location for a piercing compared to anything else surrounding. My experience was Not so great, had my 2nd lobe piercing done. I asked for a needle, which I am used to, and I was told the gun was cheaper... interesting because money didn't matter but I listened. I told the people at the front desk what I was allergic to.. I thought they pointed me in the right direction but the earrings I got didn't work out. I actually choose this place because they were highly recommend it on yelp, boy did I learn the hard way. I returned to the shop to ask questions and possibly buy new earrings to put in my ear but I was told the earrings that I had were the best that they offer and they couldn't help me. Different type of piercings are not new to me. I have four other piercings in my ear different places and they've all heal just fine with needle piercings and the correct jewelry. Anyway, I went in later in the evening at 6:30/45 to make an appointment, and was given a card and turned away and told to go online and make an appointment that way because they don't make appointments for walk-ins....when I was told to COME IN to make an appointment when I had called earlier that day! I cheated on my original piercer and decided to come here instead to get my septum pierced. I got my septum pierced by Peaches. She was nice but I had a feeling that something was wrong with my piercing since she did not try to find the sweet spot of my septum. She simply put the clamps in and then immediately pierced it. Everything happened very quickly that I was in and out of the shop in less than 10 minutes. I had this feeling that the placement of the piercing was not right but I was just hoping that it would work out and it would heal ok. I had tried to call the shop multiple times to get the septum jewelry changed since it was too large for me to be able to flip it in and hide when I need to. After calling a few times, I figured that their hours may have changed because of COVID restrictions. I ended up going back to my original and trusted piercer to get it changed and I had asked what he thought about its placement. He took a look at it and he noticed that it was still very tender for me even after a month of having it. And he said that it was pierced really low. He showed me with a mirror where the piercing should normally go in comparison to where mine was. His recommendation was to take it out and let it heal thoroughly and he would re-pierce it for me correctly in about 4 weeks. I know that this shop has multiple locations and they have multiple piercers who have great reviews. I write all of this just to say I think that a professional piercer understands to take their time to make sure a piercing is done correctly. Otherwise, and person can be left with future issues if the piercing is not able to heal correctly. read more

Actually the only thing I didn't like was the fact that you have to pay for ointment separately and they do tattoos out in the open on these dinky office chairs located right behind the register. It's a new location for the shop and they could have invested in proper seats and beds that other shops have. My friend had to lay across a little bench and an office chair to get hers done. Another thing that bothered me was the fact that friends aren't allowed to watch from any reasonable distance. We had to wait on the other side of the counter.
