Absolutely excellent service from the start to the finish! We haven't addressed our trees in almost…read morefive years. It was time! The canopies were very low, lots of broken and dead limbs, and we had a few trees that were so overgrown that they were against the house and roof. The initial walkthrough was with Chase Hartman, a Certified Arborist. We looked at every tree on my property and discussed what could be done to it to raise the canopy, thin it out, check for damage and disease, and make sure it's healthy and will continue to flourish. At the end of the walk, they were going to limb up and thin out six huge trees in my front yard, take down a pine and oak that had grown together and were way too close to my home, take down six dead Leyland Cyprus and two huge pine trees that if they fell, would crush my home. A week later, the crew arrived with two trucks, a bobcat loader, a chipper, and eight very experienced crew. They sized up the access to the property, spoke with my neighbors to ask to use their driveways to get to my backyard, and went to work. It was incredible to watch professionals practice their craft! They systematically worked on the two large pines in the backyard by climbing the tree and cutting limbs as they went up. Piling up the limbs to be pulled away by the bobcat to the chipped. Within two hours, both large pines were gone, and work started on the cypress, which they made quick work of. They arrived at eight AM and left at one-thirty PM. Professional from start to finish. They protected my yard, my neighbors' yards, and systematically, cleanly dropped ten trees and cleaned/limbed up six trees. From the first walkthrough to the final stump grinding a week after the tree work, excellent communications, great service, extremely professional and friendly. My new Arborist and Tree service for my home!

They were priced competitively, took care of the permitting, and got the work done in a timely manner. Beyond that, they cleaned up after themselves and had our property looking immaculate afterwards. The crew cleaned up after the work was completed so that there was no dust or wood chips on our roof (and our neighbor's roof since they had to access the neighbor's property to fully take down the tree). Anyone visiting us the next day would've never known that we just had a giant tree cut down. There was some oil spillage on our paved alley/driveway from a chainsaw that broke while cutting down the tree, and Northside provided us with a free power wash to take care of the problem. Northside does excellent work and I recommend them if you need a tree taken down.

Montufar's Tree Service... a 10-Star business! BEYOND EXCELLENT SERVICE!…read more I had 5 trees to be removed; 3 large trees and 2 smaller ones. 2 of the large trees were close to the house, fence and on-ground AC. I called several tree removal companies. Ed showed-up the same day I called, accessed the job and provided a written bid. Ed & crew returned that week with all equipment that was needed to properly remove the trees. There's another review posted for Ed Montufar's business, and I also experience the same level of exceptional services as they did and reaffirm their experience with Montufar's Tree Service was same as mine: * Promptly showed-up, as scheduled, with a written paper estimate * Extremely reasonable pricing * Had all the proper equipment to do the job: bucket truck, ropes, chipper and stump grinder * Had all the personal gear for safety; appropriate clothing & boots, helmets, googles and gloves * They are INSURED and BONDED! On the 3 large trees, as they cut branches, they carefully lowered them to the ground, being mindful of the proximity of the house, fence and the ground AC unit. They protected the AC with a cardboard cover when using the stump grinder. I also had many large roots that had surfaced to the top of the ground and had become a tripping hazard. Ed cut & pick-axed them all out and leveled the ground area ... job extremely well done! I have 2-more trees that need to come down in the next couple of months and I absolutely will be calling Ed Montufar for the job! Are you looking for tree service business in our community that delivers beyond excellent quality of work and is quick to respond to message and is punctual & professional ...
