This was my first time eating at Red Lobster! My review is based on this being a chain restaurant and my personal experience. I had a great time!! Our server, Josh, was fantastic and funny! I told him that it was my first time eating at Red Lobster and he offered some suggestions. I got the flounder sandwich with a side salad. We got those world famous cheddar bay biscuits and I loved them. They're buttery morsels of goodness. My salad came out first and I got the citrus lime vinaigrette. Wow!! That salad dressing was delicious!! They need to bottle it up and sell it! Then, my sandwich came out, and I ate my fries first and the hush puppies. The hush puppies were surprisingly, very tasty, and I wish I had more. By this time, I was too full to even eat my sandwich, so I had to take it home with me. It was tasty the next day! The toasted bun was a nice touch. Now, it wasn't an out of this world amazing sandwich, but for the price point??? It was solid! I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw that bill. $18 for all that food!! You can't even get a salad at Sweetgreen for $20 these days and I ate all that food for $18!! And we had left over biscuits that we took home too! Between Josh's excellent service and the amount of food I got for $18, I'm going back . All this place needs is an interior renovation and a karaoke night and it would be the spot to be! read more

Food: 4/5 I had the Crab Carbonara -- I expected a tomato cream base but it was actually more of a different creaminess! I'd already started eating before I remembered to take a picture , but it was good. Also I appreciated that they've made major improvements to the menu since my last visit. Service: 2/5 The host was nice, but our waitress had a bit of an attitude that none of us could explain -- we were friendly and got nothing but negative energy in return. She never checked on us, one person had to ask for biscuits twice, and when she finally brought them she threw them on the table. We were appalled. Vibe(5/5): It was pretty empty and quieter compared to how it used to be. This place used to thump back in the day. One highlight though: the music was excellent. Each song transitioned so seamlessly like they had a dj. Overall: The food and music were solid, but the service brought the experience down. The service was great! Corey did a great job handling this big party we had. The ambiance in the restaurant is the same, when you walk in the lobster is in the front. Plenty of parking. The biscuits are always good, and the lobster flatbread was good. Just beware, make sure you tell your waiter that you want the tip to be. When I got the bill the tip was highlighted. The biscuit is the only photo I got--everything else was savored immediately. Phone tucked away, fully present, enjoying the company at the table. My mother and I stopped in on Christmas Day for an early dinner, and honestly, the leadership under the new CEO, Damola Adamolekun, has me frequenting Red Lobster more often--and I'm not mad about it. It was one of my favorite restaurants growing up, so if nothing else, the nostalgia hits. Thankfully, the food still holds up too. I ordered the Passion Colada along with Crab Your Way, which is my new go-to. Those crispy potatoes get me every time, and I'm never disappointed. I also always upgrade to Bairdi crab legs--for just $5 more, you get noticeably larger legs, and it's well worth the value. Red Lobster is a classic. An old faithful. I finally got a chance to try the Red Lobster Seafood Boil. I ordered the Mariners Boil with corn, potatoes, Lobster, shrimp and a cluster of crab legs. I also ordered the shrimp scambi. The food was JUST OKAY. It doesn't rival the other seafood boils I have eaten from the competitors. It came with two cheesy bread that were soft and so good. I didn't care for the sauce the shrimp scambi was in. I thought it would be like I remembered in the past. Service: it was great, very fast and efficient. I ordered from the takeout section that is in a completely different entrance than the restaurant. I had my order within 10 minutes, so I was grateful. Decor: typical Red Lobster decorations. It appeared clean from what I could observe. Overall score was a 6.5/10...maybe a 7 to be nice. read more

Came in and after being seated, waited 30 minutes before a waitress came and took our order. Received one of the drinks 15 minutes later and waited an additional 15 for the other before paying for the one drink and leaving. Never received the other drink, food, or even a fork and napkin. I had such a good experience at the Red Lobster in Suitland. My friend and I both left saying we'd definitely come back. The service was great. Our waiter was super attentive and made sure everything came out just right. We didn't go for the crab boil this time. Instead, we ordered the "Crab Your Way" with Cajun and Old Bay seasoning, and I added a side of sausage in Cajun butter. Let me tell you, it was fire. The flavor was on point. I also got a side of fresh melted butter so that I could get my crab meat in. There was a long line when we got there, so I was really glad I made a reservation ahead of time. The vibe inside was chill, everyone seemed in a good mood, and I didn't hear any complaints. A few people even came up to ask what we ordered because it looked that good. After looking over the vast drink menu, I decided on a passionfruit margarita. It had just the right amount of tequilav without being too strong. I decided to order from the lunch menu and picked the southwest shrimp salad. It was a very large salad for $18. Filled with rice, a mixed salad, tomato salsa, corn, sour cream, juicy, grilled shrimp and a tangy vinegarette. This salad exceeded my expectations and definitely filled me up. I was skeptical about trying this location, because for my whole life I'd gone to the one near my house which recently closed :(. Very pleasantly surprised about my great experience. Nahjae was friendly, prompt, and accurate but not overbearing. She had at least 6 other tables, but didn't miss a beat. My biscuits were hot, my entree came out like the pictures and was quite tasty. Oooh we got so much food. 7 people for my friend's birthday. 2 adults and 5 children. The waitress did a great job with us and she definitely earned the tip dealing with our group. The ambiance is pretty much the same as all red lobsters. They only had 3 lobsters in the tank though. We ordered lots of kids meals and the adults ordered the all you can eat shrimp. We came here with a party of 12 on Christmas Eve. We made a reservation the day before. When we arrived, our table was ready. Our server, Joshua, was very attentive and kept the refills on drinks flowing. The snow globe sangria was a delight. Our food was excellent and it came out piping hot. We had 5 orders of crab legs, a fish and chips, 4 choose your own shrimps, and 1 salmon order. Everyone loved their food and best sides were the hush puppies and Brussels sprouts. I went to this location due to all the hype and marketing of late surrounding this corporation. To me it's still the same pony with a few new tricks. As far as the food I ordered the salmon with orzo rice and broccoli. The salmon was great actually it was soft tender not overcooked and very flavorful. The rice was also a nice complete to the dish. I don't really have any complaints I'm also glad they still have the lobsterita margarita even though it is not on the menu. The ambiance was cool what you should expect from the area but there wasn't any drama and everyone seem to be enjoying themselves. Tried to order the $25 steak and lobster Wednesday special. I was told that there were no more 7oz steaks left. The manager said that there were no options for substitution. She offered NONE. I really, really wanted to love this place, especially after my cousin raved about it for so long. I thought I was stepping into a magical world of seafood, themed restaurants. But, alas, it was just the same old same old. I would say that the food here wasn't any more spectacular than the other red lobsters, but I did find the food here not to be as fresh. But I digress. My family and I decided to meet up at this location due to the quality of food and service. The service definitely was hands-down some of the best I've had. And I did add an additional start for that as well. My major issue was with the quality of food. Everything looks so good on the menu, and so I figured that when I ordered on the menu, it was what was going to come out... Which is typically happens at different restaurants around the world. I placed my order for some crab legs, and my mouth is watering to try them. I will say that presentation is everything. Our table looked nice , and even down to how our information is displayed. We also order a couple appetizers, and all of those dishes came out and were delicious. We got the queso dip as well. But when I got to my auntie, I got the snow, crab legs, it was expecting them to be nice, juicy. Easy to remove. But that is not the case. It appeared that my crab legs looked a bit older, or we're not seen properly or something to that extent. In any case, the slaver was just missing, and it was a bit frustrating to not get all the crab meat that I saw, even with all those random tools that they have come up with to extract crab meat from crabs. I will say that I also got a side of broccoli with that order, and that was just absolutely delicious! As for coming back? Then, the hostess came out the restroom crying and packing her things to leave. After i got sat, i waited 5 minutes without greeting. I then received bread, no water yet and still didn't know who my server was. The place was not busy at all either. I received my food, no one ever came to check on me or anything. I finished my food, waited some more until i got annoyed and was about to walk to the front to see if i could pay. No disrespect to the staff but this was by far the worst service i've had. The weight was extremely long over 30 minutes even with reservation they still were full of party. Our server was not informative of the menu or the prices wasn't very friendly was very slow, the food taste good. The prices are higher. The portions of food are smaller as well as the plates convenient only recommend this place for something quick and convenient even though the weight and the service wasn't good and the prices are a little expensive for the food and for the convenience of the location that's why I give it the one star. read more
