What I found interesting was stopping at Safeway in route home, they had some king crabs on sale and so I also grabbed a few of those and shrimps as well just to compare...& it was half the price of what I spent. Anyhoo-the crabs and shrimps were pretty good! And the hush puppies I thought were a bit over cooked. My shrimp salad I ended up returning. When i opened it, the smell was terrible! Very fishy. The flavor was a little different for me--definitely an acquired taste--but it was good. The shrimp was tasty too. I cooked it at home in a light Old Bay butter and THAT was the move. Overall, quite the seafood experience. Come prepared for crowds, plenty of choices...and apparently live entertainment from the crabs.
