My partner in crime, my sweet mother in love and I went to HH at Red Lobster and had a great time! Smoking deals for HH! We had the classic margaritas for $5 and yummy appetizers that were $3 or $4 off but a great price and good quality. Nicole was our bartender and she was awesome! The starter was great but when I got my main it was lukewarm the "crab" was not desirable it definitely did not taste like crab whatsoever k ended up just removing all of the crab after tasting it the first time.The flavor was there but execution could use some work. The Munster location is under new ownership and he is making his pettiness known. As a frequent flyer you can tell the wait staff will be slowly finding somewhere else to work. The coldness in the air while he pace the floor micro -managing. He doesn't care how he treats the customers either. Watch you bill.. If you alter any menu item he will charge you a ridiculous upcharge without informing you of the cost upfront. Red lobster has been declining in my opinion. Trying new things on the menu has been a gamble for me. At first I ordered the crispy flounder, theme they brought it out it was 4 fillets of fried fish. I was off put because from what I remember the crispy flounder was one fillet over a bed of couscous with two sides. The manager came over and took that plate away and asked me what I would like to replace it with. I ordered what I would usually get which is the trio of shrimp. I seen pictured the shrimp was good. My friend got the lobster and shrimp Alfredo. They said it tasted decent. It lacked flavor, but it was a good amount. Two people could share that. The lobster flatbread was decent. My favorite part of it was the crust and the edges. The main part of the flatbread was flavorless. Red lobster needs to bring back what they were doing in the 2000s. The food was just better back in the day. The biscuits were somewhat decent. Some of the biscuits will be flavored and the others would be bland and dry. I'm not really a fan of red lobster. I've heard a lot of mixed reviews about the seafood boil, it is pretty expensive for the amount that you get along with what comes in the boil. It's just mostly shrimp and sausage. The absolute worst Red Lobster. Took 10 minutes to even be greeted today. Then when I asked if I could just order everything at once the waitress was extremely rude. Said she'd be doing it for 30 years; she was bottom of the barrel. My family and I went this past weekend to the Red Lobster location in Munster. I actually had a pretty decent meal considering I have not been in awhile. Well when it came time to pay the bill, I kept seeing people go to the register and thought that was pretty odd. But hey maybe the were paying with several forms of payment. We proceded to give the waitress our payment. When she came back we were told that there was still a balance on the bill and only $12 had come off for payment. So checking my husbands acct we see that the waitress ran the payment multiple times and by the time it only took $12 that's all that was left in the acct. We tried talking to the manager who stated their system was having an issue and it won't close out the tab. We called the bank to verify payment was processed on their end, in fact multiple payments. The rep tried to provide the trace number for the transaction but the manager would not budge. We paid twice for a meal just to not have to keep arguing with the staff. I will not be back. I was really impressed with the covid-19 changes made at this location which made me feel a little safer dining out, thank you guys for that!!!!
