I was hooked at Margarita! I came here off a recommendation of a friend. Oh boy it didn't disappoint. Waiters are plenty so you're not waiting to be greeted or seated. Very spacious not cramped. Plenty of parking as well. Prices are very fair for the portion and quality. The drinks are delicious and you get 3 different sizes. The chips are salsa are complimentary. My only "eye roll" is the automatic 18% gratuity they add to the bill. Nonetheless I pay because I keep going back.

On a recent work trip our hotel shared the same lot with El Salto, very convenient location. We always grabbed a bar seat to assure the best service available. This place did not disappoint, great food, fast and friendly service, and great specials!! We visited many times over a 2 week period and everything we ate was delicious and flavorful. The place can get packed so be prepared for a short wait most of the time. The restaurant itself was newly built, clean, and all the latest and greatest of amenities.

Located next to my hotel (Springhill Suites), loved this place. Service was great and the food was equally as good. Not a huge selection of beer, but not a drawback. Would love to go back....but no time.

This is our go to Mexican place. The staff is friendly, food comes out fast and hot and the drinks are great. There are 3 sizes of margaritas and they have drink specials on certain nights. My faves are the queso dip-which I could just eat that and batches of chips! The fajita quesadilla and Alambre. My husband also likes the burrito El charro. Oh and the prices are great. You don't have to spend a fortune for a good meal especially since they serve enough where you have lunch the next day. When the pandemic began, we have done the take out from here as well and it was wonderful. We made it a point to support as we didn't want to see them go out of business.

A friend was visiting from out of town, and I'd heard that El Salto had patio dining, which was our preference. I was able to verify they had outside seating on Yelp, so we headed over there. We weren't handed menus since they are doing it electronically by scanning the code at your table. We'd each ended up downloading the PDFs to review easier. They have a great Vegetarian Combo option where you can pick two items for only $6.95. We soon realized the PDF did not have a drinks menu. I asked the waiter for a paper menu, and he indicated that I could view the drinks on my phone. We still weren't seeing it, so he ends up coming over and touching my phone to go back to where the Drinks menu was. It was good to have assistance, but the reason we were sitting outside in the first place was for social distancing during the pandemic, and I didn't want him physically touching my phone. The margaritas are a good size, and they have very interesting flavors!

Prime rib is a normally a roasted meat but the friendly waitress asked how we liked it prepared and charred was of the two options presented to us. It was like we couldn't get the usual rare, medium or well-done scope of options. When it arrived, it was not the Prime Rib I was accustomed too but a charred thin steak with overboard seasoning. Being a man and a birthday party honoree, I decided to not complain or send it back as such would have been a very rude, unappreciative gesture to my host, I thought. What I learned here is this is not a place known for Prime Rib or steaks as it is an Italian eatery, stick with pizza and pasta dishes for the best satisfaction. Lesson learned.

Our server was really nice and even though she forgot the extra bread and water fill ups - we were treated nicely. And our food came out in perfect timing. Our food came with a side and also soup so we ordered the lobster bisque. I liked the taste of it but the lobster and onions were diced up and there was so much of it that it just didn't taste good. Onto the entrees I ordered the chicken Marsala and it came with two good sized chicken breasts and I opted for the fettuccine Alfredo on the side. Overall I give it a 7/10 - it hit the mark but wasn't impressive. We also ordered the Parmesan crusted 8 oz filet for $35. We asked for medium but it came out medium rare. Was a bit bland but we ate it. Overall we won't be back for a while but it's a good place to try when you want some Italian from an old school joint.

Upon arrival we were immediately seated at a high top in the bar area. They had several big screen TVs on playing both sports and news. We came hungry and ordered a good variety of menu items including a few of their seasonal drinks as well as several shared appetizers. My favorite was the chicken eggs rolls. They really stuff them up and there's so much flavor. The dipping sauce is tasty as well. The lobster Rangoon was an accidental order, I asked the waitress how they were and next thing you know they were brought out to the table. I agreed to keep them and did enjoy them. They were a little pricey at $24 but I understand lobster isn't cheap. The bbq chicken pizza was ok but didn't have the bbq sauce flavor I was looking for. Good while hot but nothing I would order again. The side salad was literally just a bowl of lettuce so I wouldn't do that again either. I felt the menu had a lot of good options and choosing what to order was hard. Our server was great and the busser was attentive and helpful as well. I'm excited to have a place like this in the area. The vibey ambience, good service and overall yummy food makes me want to come back again and try more. Tip: they accept inKind which is a plus because I was able to save a little $ on the bill.

We ordered the Black Bullet party pack which comes with two pounds of brisket and two large sides. We went with fries and beans, and also added ribs, mac and cheese, and buns to the order. The brisket is still the star of the show. The spice rub on it is perfect, and it's so tender that it's unreal. The fries are exactly the kind of battered fries I like which was a pleasant surprise because I feel like not many places do them that way. The beans were okay... a little sweeter than I personally prefer, but they had huge chunks of pork in them that I definitely appreciated. We also added two slabs of ribs, and they fell right off the bone. I'm usually not a huge ribs person, but these were well cooked and flavorful. Mom loved them, and that's what really matters. We did have a few small issues with the order. We realized that our mac and cheese was unfortunately missing when we got home. They also ran out of pretzel buns midway through packing things up, so we ended up with a mix of pretzel and brioche buns instead. Honestly, we didn't mind that one too much because it gave us a chance to try both (I'd pick pretzel if I were you). When we picked up the order the place was absolutely packed, so it was hard to be upset over an honest mistake. They were clearly incredibly busy. I still don't really care for the sweeter sauce that tastes heavily like peppers to me, but their vinegar-based sauce (which I think is their original?) was much better than I remember. I'm glad to see this place is still around and still holds up after all this time. More importantly, the brisket is every bit as good as I remembered.

On my second visit a year later, I decided to give it another shot--this time opting for the traditional version instead of the smoked one. It was better, but still only average at best. It was also served warm, and the ice melted quickly, suggesting the glass or drink wasn't properly chilled. The martini was also underwhelming--it tasted mostly like juice, with little to no noticeable alcohol. As for the food, the starters were definitely the highlight. The French onion soup was actually very good. However, the main courses didn't live up to expectations. I ordered the steak medium rare, but it came out closer to medium well--overcooked and under-seasoned. The chicken Vesuvio was also disappointing; the sauce tasted like it came from a jar, and neither it nor the rice stood out in any meaningful way. On a positive note, the ambiance was very nice. The lighting created a pleasant atmosphere, and the staff was friendly and attentive throughout the meal. Overall, while the setting and service were enjoyable, the food and drinks didn't justify a return visit.
