The staff were prompt and friendly and the food came out quick and hot. The complimentary chips were crispy and fresh. They brought out more salsa which is in my Horchata pic. I tried all 5; and the variety has something for everyone. All the items were on the richer side with the sauces and cheese. Plenty of customization, if that's not for you. The rice is always over cooked. I literally keep forgetting that this place doesn't cook the rice right. I only go every now and then and the rice is still not cooked right. These tacos are, well... the boss! I was excited to see several vegetarian options. Boss Man also loads their tacos! I had to eat part of them with a fork to even fold them for proper taco eating. I enjoyed the Crispy Vegi Taco, the Buffalo Bloom and the Farmstand. My favorite was probably the Buffalo Bloom which was served with hearty pieces of Buffalo fried cauliflower. The crispy vegi included some very good fried zucchini spears and cubed yellow squash. Finally the Farmstand had all the veggies! Street taco corn tortillas could've been cooked more , they were a little undercooked and weren't very warm . Street taco steak meat also was not very fresh but it tasted well for 1.75. This place wasn't far from me at all, so the temptation got me! My significant other and I were able to choose our table, so that was nice. This place was small, but to the point. Our server brought us chips and salsa, as well as a tray with four sauces on it. I was also given a water. All of that stuff was complimentary. The chips and salsa were pretty good. For the sauces, there was one red and one green that were both on the liquid side of the spectrum. Besides those sauces, there was one red and one green that were both fairly thick. They had $2 Margaritas Classic Lime On The Rocks, so I ordered one of those and soon after another. The Diet Pepsi was great. I got a free refill on it that was great as well. The Margaritas were small, but they both had a good taste to them. For the price, they were definitely worth it. We ordered Fries for 3.50 and Boss Man Fries for 12.50. The Boss Man Fries were Fries With Steak, Shredded Cheese, Refried Beans, Guacamole, Pico De Gallo And Sour Cream. I ended up ordering from the Boss Tacos section. These Tacos were $4.25 Each. From the Chicken Boss Tacos, I went with a Jerk Chicken and a Chicken Ranchero. The Jerk Chicken was Jerk Chicken, Pineapple Salsa, Siracha Crema, On Flour Tortilla. The Chicken Ranchero was Fried Chicken Tender, Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato, Cheese + Avocado Ranch, On Flour Tortilla. The Fries were pretty good. The Boss Man Fries were even better. They did become boring after a little bit. I enjoyed both of the Tacos in their own way. The price for each was a bit steep, though. The service was fantastic here. I've never been to this location, but have DoorDashed it a few times. I decided to order it because I'd never heard of it but the menu sounded delicious, and I was right! Their chorizo chili loaded cheese curds ($9.75) are exactly what you need when you're craving something salty and greasy. Their tortilla soup ($4.75) is also really good (tragically I didn't get mine last time I ordered). The burrito I had was a bit dry on the inside, but I'm not a huge burrito person to begin with so, take that with a grain of salt. The tacos on the other hand were delicious. They have a huge menu to choose from from Fish and Chips to Asian Steak. My personal favorite is the Hangover Helper ($3.75) that is topped with salsa sauteed tortilla chips, scrambled eggs, chicken, cilantro and crema. My experience was great and overall food is amazing for this restaurant and its food is by far a great place to get good tacos and the place is small and prices are good and food speaks volumes over and over as far as best Hispanic restaurants fusion recipes and it's a gel of sauces and salsa and they add such an appeal to the food you crave it. Paid a visit a couple of months back, ordered one carnita taco, one quesobirria taco and a bunch of steak tacos for the family to go. My family did not like the food very much and neither did I. The carnita taco came with pico de gallo on it, so by the time I got home and unwrapped the taco I ended up with a very wet tortilla and some very salty carnitas. The quesobirria taco were TERRIBLE. The birria meat was ok, but the big turnoff was the queso which tasted and looked like tostito's mild cheese dip. The service however was good. They were very friendly and attentive. Found and tried out the same day. I love the friendly staff. The crazy long menu is filled with a tacos assortment and other dishes. I tried the jerk chicken, steak and fish and chips tacos. Flour shells with all the fixings. The jerk was not super spicy and had a nice flavor with fresh fruit. But the fish and chips was my fave. The toppings was a perfect blend but the batter is what had my lips smacking. I also tried the special horchata. Not really a fan. Looking back at all the times I drove past and dismissed this joint is regretful! After finally choosing this place for a bite to eat, my partner and I were more than pleasantly surprised. The closest restaurant I could compare Boss Man to would be Ricochet Taco, but with better prices and way more veggie options. So this is an update review for Thursday August 13, 2020 and Friday august 14, 2020. I am a little slow writing this updated review, but wanted to get it in before I forgot again. so previous to these dates, I stopped coming here because for some reason anytime I ordered anything not a taco, my order would sadly get mixed up and by time I got home, I noticed I either did not get something or the order was mixed up. So on Thursday we stopped in to get the following: 1 Hot Cheeto Walking Taco 1 Frito Walking Taco 2 amigo Chicken Tacos 2 amigo Steak Tacos On that Friday we went back and had the following: 1 Bacon Elote in a cup 1 order of Chips and Hot Salsa 2 Amigo Style Pork Tacos 4 Amigo Style Chicken Tacos 4 Amigo Style Steak Tacos. I have to say they are always on point with their tacos, the flavor is always there with the different meats. the Elote int he cup was better than when we first tried them sometime last year. It use to be watery, but this time it was on point. As for the salsa and chips, I really liked the flavor and heat that was in the salsa.
