It's been a long time since I've been to a Red Lobster but in honor of my newlywed son and his wife, we made a trip here last night. I have mixed emotions about Red Lobster after reading about the high sodium levels their menu contains. Well, didn't take a sodium meter with me last night but I CAN tell you I didn't use the salt shaker once!!! Most of our party had similar dished from the Shrimp Festival. I had two Shrimp Tacos and Shrimp Scampi while others had the Tacos and Cajun BBQ'd shrimp Well, they gave me a cheese-covered Stuffed Shrimp instead of the Scampi, much to my chagrin. And it was salty! The tacos were tasty. The side of slaw was okay. Most of us finished their shrimp up but took to drinking water and tea throughout the meal. I am impressed that Red Lobster has done away with a lot of their fried foods and have moved towards steamed and gilled dished...just work on the sodium! read more

Say at the bar since I was running solo. Sat down and got my order taken fairly quickly. 3 minutes later, yes three minutes ALL my food in my four course choice came at once. Salad, soup and entree came and then he walked away. No silverware just sat there until I was able to get the bartender/server to come back. I just don't know why I keep trying Red Lobster. i ate here this afternoon, April 10, 2024, and after reading the reviews I was prepared to be very disappointed. I was already disappointed because I knew in advance they had discontinued their excellent shrimp cocktail. All of the things I had prepared myself for from the negative reviews were not true. I found the place to be very clean and very fresh smelling, even the men's room. The service was excellent and very attentive. The best thing I can say is that my food was very good, almost excellent. I don't understand the negative reviews. I don't understand the negative reviews. Possibly worst meal and service ever. Mussels were cooked until they were little tough tendrils. Shrimp so dry you it was a struggle to get it off the skewer. We were served appetizers with no plates or silverware. Cocktails and wine arrived after we were halfway finished eating. Management appears to be nonexistent. read more

I've read all the negative reviews, but frankly my experience there this week was wonderful. My server, Chantz, was very attentive and helpful. I ordered the Admiral's Feast, and Chantz quickly brought my drinks and those delicious cheesy biscuits, followed in short order by my salad. My dinner was delicious. The fish, shrimp, clams, and scallops were prepared just the way I like them and served up hot. The restaurant was clean and well populated with diners. A very enjoyable experience. read more

I gave them a 2 only because the food was good, but the good food was negated by the horrible service. The server, Tatyana, and the woman manager could care less about offering an adequate dining experience. I was just happily eating my seafood bake at the bar when suddenly I'm chewing something that isn't food. I pull it out of my mouth, and unravel it. 'Please, Lord, please don't let this be a condom!', I prayed silently. It wasn't. It was a wad of plastic wrap, cooked in my food, and then in my mouth. I took a picture of this right in front of the manager, who still made me pay for my beer before I left! But let's start at the beginning, shall we? When I pulled up and parked across from the Red Lobster entrance, I couldn't help but notice the Little Rock PD patrol car parked under the restaurant's awning. I didn't see the cop until after I went inside - he was standing with his arms crossed in the corner of the entryway. I'm not sure why a Red Lobster would need to have a cop on guard - especially on a Tuesday night - but now that I think back on this I suppose that should have been an obvious "red flag" to go eat elsewhere. I made my way into the bar area with the intention of eating there since I came in alone. About 80% of the barstools were vacant, but 100% of those had food and drinks left in front of them still waiting to be bussed. I walked up and stood behind a barstool while the bartender was talking to what turned out to be the manager. Their conversation went on for nearly five full minutes with me standing there, neither one ever addressing the fact I was obviously stationed in front of them waiting for something before they both walked off out of sight. Nevertheless, I just remained standing there, unwilling to sit down with the bar trashed in front of me. As I was there waiting for someone to appear and buss the bar, the host (with the funkiest looking hair shaped like a skyscraper on top of his head) walks up. I look over and ask, "Are the raw oysters on the half-shell any good here?" "Sometimes..." The host with the fab-do replied. "Depends who's cookin'em." I obviously wouldn't be ordering the raw oysters. A few minutes later, the bartender reappears, but he didn't immediately pay attention to the fact that I was still standing there. Instead, he starts counting money in his register. Once he was done with that task, he turns around, and finally seeing I was just standing there, asks if I needed anything. At this point, I had been standing there for more than 10 minutes, but really, I wasn't upset over that fact or anything. I asked him very nicely, "If it's not too much trouble, I'd like to sit at the bar and order food, if there's any way you could clear some space for me." He did, and I sat down. After ordering my beer and food, I expected that my dinner would commence smoothly. This was the worst experience of my life. The server didn't write down my order. Everything came out wrong. The asparagus was old before cooking. I ordered steak and shrimp. Got steak and lobster. Asparagus and lobster mash were the sides. Got old asparagus and cold broccoli. Steak was over cooked. Sent the steak back and the second one came to the table bloody! What are my favorite restaurants need more service but the food is awesome. Can't complain. Just need to be updated on the service.

Starting with an overflowing trash can at the entrance of the restaurant and continued with strewn trash under the tables and walk ways. After standing in the foyer and being ignored , we had to ask if we were to wait to be seated or should do it ourselves. At the table we finally had to ask a server if someone was assigned to our table. Apparently no one had been assigned, after a discussion we witnessed at a distance, a server came and introduced himself. The place looks dilapidated, very outdated , you wonder if there's a manager employed there. Red Lobster belongs to a large restaurant group, they could definitely use some corporate attention thrown their way. Despite all this, the food was very good. Little Rock has lost so many good restaurants, definitely would hate to see another bite the dust . read more

Where do I start, that's the problem, I didn't stay to get served because no one waited on us. We walked in around 3:00pm. No vehicles in the parking lot so we assumed we would get seated and served quickly. We walked in and no one was there to wait on us. So we waited and waited and waited, and no one came to address us. Someone in the kitchen, who appeared to be the manager, looked at me at one point, and shut the door. Several minutes later, that same person came out and seated us. After being seated, he told us our waiters name and that he would be there shortly. I don't know what shortly means in his dictionary but he never showed up so we left. They need to change the staff and the manager or the doors will close. I have dined at this particular location several times, and this was by far the worst service we have experienced. It was also filthy. It has gotten worse every time to the point that now I don't think I will ever return. I love the red lobster chain, but will take my business elsewhere. I was sick for the last few days, and decided to treat myself to a nice dinner tonight. I got seated right away, my ultimate feast was cooked well, and Christie my server was sweet and efficient. I've eaten here many times, and have always received consistent service. I also mentioned that I had a great experience to the manager on the way out, and he mentioned that he poached her from another restaurant that wasn't taking care of her, and that was a savvy management decision. read more

Made a to go soup order on their website for the "family size soup" which serves 6-8. They messed up the order after I arrived. I waited over half an hour before getting the order a second time. I had to go back to work so I didn't check it and I found out that they shorted me a second time and the soup was cold. When I called the manager to inform them that every time someone orders the family soup off the party tray menu they are shorting them by 1/3 of the product. For some reason I do like Red lobster every once in awhile. I had not been in awhile but my dad loves the stuffed cod. They have done a lot of remodeling and I think it looks better not as dark. My son got some dirt if blacken fish and really liked it. My husband and sister got the sailors platter. I like the sailors platter alright but the fish they put on it has no taste and so bland so I usally skip that. I got a combo appetizer plate and it was pretty good. Our service was excellent. While in town visiting family, my grandmother picked Red Lobster to go eat at for lunch one day. I have never been a big seafood fan but I went with it anyways. Upon entering, we were greeted by a very friendly host who gladly showed us the special of the day and sat us down quickly. The server was very nice, energetic, and attentive. The baked potato soup I ordered was alright, nothing special and my chicken Caesar salad was good but again, nothing special. Everyone else in my party seemed to enjoy their meals very much and I must say my mother's shrimp tacos looked delicious. I could not believe the horrible experience we had at this location. We thought we were there at a down time because there were no cars in the parking lot whereas normally (or should I say before) you couldn't get a parking space. My family and I have been going here for about 20 years and it was our favorite restaurant. My 33 year old daughter had her bday there every year. So,Thursday night at 6:00pm it was our annual bday dinner. There were 7 of us. My daughter wanted some lobster bisque. And btw, it is Lobster Fest. My daughter asked her if she could have them crumble extra lobster to put in her soup and I was going to the same. We would pay extra. The waitress said no they couldn't do that because they were out of that kind of lobster. WHAT. Maybe my ignorance but I had no idea there was different kinds of lobster. I ordered blackened rainbow trout. It was like a piece of leather. I told the waitress quietly, what my husband and I thought and asked her to just let the chef to know. Didn't ask for anything special or to replace it. I sat there with this mess in front of me and not once did she offer me something else. The waitress then told my daughter since it was her birthday she could have a scoop of ice cream. I told the waitress she couldn't eat ice cream. It hurt her stomach. So then...I asked her if she could just get a piece of cake or something. She said no because all their desserts all had ice cream with them and they weren't allowed to separate the cake from the ice cream. WHAT? Need I say more? Where do I start? It smelled like mildew and pee when we walked in. Should have turned around then. Our waiter was very polite but sadly very untrained. It took 15 minutes to get drinks from the bar because they were short staffed and the bartender was waiting tables and in the weeds. Our waiter kept running by and would drop one or two things off. He forgot our waters. He forgot spoons. He forgot some of our sides. Our salad and soup came out at the same time. There appeared to be no manager out checking on customers. It was a big ass mess. I have ate at this establishment on several occasions. The food is always cooked as I ordered. It is fresh, hot and plentiful. Of course, they bring you the wonderful cheddar biscuits, to stuff yourself with, The service was great. The server was nice, attentive, and very people oriented. I guess the question I have after eating here is: "how do they stay in business?" This place is awful, just terrible. The people were nice and the service was fine but the food is fast food quality at best. Tough lobster, tiny dry shrimp, too much salt on some things and no seasoning at all on others. I feel like the kid who gets taken for $20 at the carnival because these people lured me in with the bright shiny pictures on the menu and then brought me microwaved crap. This is good seafood for Arkansas. I'm not much of a salad eater but the cheese biscuits that come to your table are excellent with their salad. I normally eat the ultimate feast. It's one on the more expensive items but I can't resist shrimp scampy , fried shrimp , crab legs and lobster tail on the same plate. Yummy! I would give it a 5 if it cost a little less. read more

I come here only for the crab legs. Red Lobster consistently steams their crab legs perfectly. I think it may have something to do with the volume of crab legs that they make and the fact that when you make that much, you sort of get it down to an art. And it's not all that expensive. I have been to fine dining places and have paid a hefty sum only to get crab legs that were overcooked and that just ticks me off for some reason. read more
