Cheddar Biscuits

Service was exceptional (Corey was very attentive and knowledgeable). Food was very good, and the restaurant was overall tidy and clean. With this new revamp on the menu, it was exciting to see some new menu items in addition to the classics. We really enjoyed ourselves and the overall ambience and food and of course service will be back.

Unappetizing!!!!

The service was great. No complaints there but I was very disappointed with the food. I spent $75 for 2 "lobster" one of which I had to return. It was so mushy. In general it had no flavor. The biscuits I used to love was so very dry. This was my very last visit to Red Lobster.

We were seated @7:33 PM according to time stamp on photo .waited over half hour for drink orders to be taken. & served. Food orders taken roughly another half hour and served @ 9:33 PM.Management made excuses rather than apologize and gave a measly 10% discount for this poor service and cold food. we ended up taking to go boxes home to warm and eat. it was a good bye celebration for our Deceased Brother "s burial and going home to family members who had traveled from Calgary AB Canada. we had 11 people in attendance.

Shrimp scampi so good.

Omg I came here after driving all day and I was a little concerned because of the low rating they have. Pleasantly surprised!! The food was great and my server Nicole was absolutely fantastic. I will definitely be coming back to this location.

Save your money and time! Go to Pineville. Gastonia location needs to close.I'm not sure where to start and then s is my 1st ever negative review. If I could give less than 1 star I would.Keep in mind I was a waitress at one time also. I do give a lot of leeway.First we sat for over 10 minutes for a water. Or any mention for our waitress Michelle. My husband ordered a whiskey and water. He received a glass with a shot of whiskey and a plastic cup of water and ice??? Not the waitress issue but apparently they don't have a bartender either?? We ordered our appetizer, 20 Min later our salads arrived, no appetizer. When the appetizer came. We had to ask for small plates.they never came. I ordered endless shrimp. When they brought the meal I asked for my second as service had already been super slow and I had planned on seconds being so as well.25 minutes later no endless shrimp. We had asked waitress for boxes at this point either. Yes I actually had a timer set in these things.25 minutes later no seconds, no boxes, no return from the waitress. Tables in other sections had come and gone numerous times. And it wasn't busy. Seriously 25 minutes in between her stops with us.Never received 2nd portion in my endless. We arrived at 4:30 left at 7:15. No endless meal even to take home. Did discuss with the so called manager, who did not supply her name, insincere apology, stated the waitress was having a bad night. We were a simple table of 3 , out for my mother in laws 84 by birthday.A memorable one for sure but not in a good way. As a nurse , former waitress, send your staff home if that bad and cover their shift .Management decisions.Management duties. Seriously , save your money and time.Beware a glass of wine was over 10 dollars. Not too brand wine either . Many tables in our area had complained about the same. Never have this issue in Pineville or any other red lobster location. They are not doing enough business to stay open and have inadequate management and staff. Close it down and put a functional business in there.Complaint lodged to corporate as well, not holding out much hope there either. This also our second time , same location and no endless refills received. This was our last.

Crispy Brussels Sprouts

One of my favorite restaurants of all times..the biscuits hit when they are hot tho..

Horrible food. Soggy fake seafood, biscuits were ok. Crab legs were skinny and butter was rancid.

First time at a Seafood Boil Spot…read more I was very pleased with the quality of the food for the price. This was my first time going and it definitely won't be my last. The fried whiting was a great portion fried perfectly, flaky, and the plate was very filling. The coleslaw was AMAZING! The only downside was that the food was a little too salty for my taste, I got the seafood boil, but now that I know, that's something I can ask to have adjusted next time. My only real disappointment was the "butter." It tasted more like movie-theater popcorn butter than actual butter. Definitely not a fan of that.....yuck! SERVICE WAS TOP NOTCH, wish I remember her name. Overall, though, the food was delicious, the portions were great, and we will absolutely be back!

I don't normally leave reviews this detailed, and I want to start by saying the food at The Juicy…read moreCrab Gastonia is usually very good. We've eaten here before and continue coming back because we genuinely enjoy the food. Even tonight, our food was good. Unfortunately, the service and overall organization of the restaurant were unacceptable. We arrived around 9 PM and were told by two different servers that someone would be with us "in a second." We were seated around 9:11, but then continued waiting without much acknowledgment. Around 9:25, the person who appeared to be the manager finally came over and took our order after we had already watched the bartender ask them several minutes earlier to assist us. As we sat there, it became obvious just how overwhelmed the restaurant was. There appeared to be only four active servers, each handling around nine tables, most of which were four-tops. At that point, I don't think it's fair to simply blame the servers. Trying to provide attentive service to potentially 30+ guests each is an unreasonable workload. We could clearly hear other tables complaining about the service as well. We also watched finished drinks sit on the bar instead of being run to customers. Some sat long enough that they eventually had to be remade, creating even more work for an already overwhelmed bar and making customers wait even longer. The bartender deserves specific recognition because he was clearly doing everything he could. In addition to making drinks for the restaurant, he was covering several tables and eventually ours as well. He brought our food out around 9:38-9:46 and was literally out of breath from running around. He was not the problem here. We also watched another couple come in and wait for approximately 20 minutes. Eventually, they went and sat themselves at the bar, presumably hoping someone would finally acknowledge them. They still weren't helped and ultimately got up and walked out. We finally received our check around 10:30 PM, and I asked the bartender if they were short-staffed because it was obvious this wasn't a normal situation. We were told approximately five employees had called out that night and two kitchen employees had recently quit. From what we could see, the person who appeared to be the manager was also helping cover the back of house while the kitchen was being slammed with dine-in, to-go, and DoorDash orders. Knowing all of that actually made me more sympathetic toward the employees working that night. This didn't look like a restaurant full of people who simply didn't care. It looked like a handful of employees being asked to handle more than they could realistically keep up with. However, understanding why the restaurant was struggling doesn't make the experience acceptable. My biggest issue is that the restaurant continued accepting and seating customers despite the staff already being completely overwhelmed. If four servers are each carrying around nine tables and customers already inside aren't being properly acknowledged, it's time to slow down seating, put people on a wait, close a section, or at the very least warn incoming customers that service is going to be significantly delayed. Had someone simply told us at 9pm "We've had several call-outs tonight and we're extremely backed up, so service is going to take longer than normal," I would have been much more understanding. Instead, we were told someone would be with us "in a second" and had to figure out for ourselves what was happening. There is a difference between bad service because employees don't care and bad service because employees have been given an impossible workload. Tonight appeared to be the latter, which is why I don't want this review to come across as attacking the servers who were clearly struggling to keep up. At the same time, customers shouldn't be left wondering if anyone is going to acknowledge them, drinks shouldn't be sitting until they need to be remade, and people shouldn't be able to wait 20 minutes, move themselves to the bar, still receive no service, and eventually leave. The frustrating part is that our food was still good, as it usually is. That's why we've continued coming back, and it's what makes tonight so disappointing. The bartender also deserves credit for how hard he was working under the circumstances. I genuinely hope this was just an exceptionally bad night. Being severely short-staffed happens, but when it does, the restaurant needs to adjust the amount of business it accepts and communicate honestly with customers. Tonight's situation was unfair to the customers and, frankly, unfair to the employees who actually showed up and were trying to keep the place running.

Service: Our waitress couldn't have been nicer--friendly, attentive, and genuinely interested in how we were enjoying our meal. Ambiance: Very clean and inviting. There was no wait when we arrived, and we were immediately greeted by the sweetest hostess, Camila . Her warm smile and kind energy honestly set the tone for the night. Never underestimate how much a genuinely nice welcome can uplift your mood! Our server, Sherry, was just as lovely -- super attentive and quick to take our drink orders . She brought out a basket of hush puppies and OMG -- I am absolutely in love. These were hands down the best hush puppies I've had in the area -- crispy outside, soft inside, and full of flavor. I could've eaten a whole tray! Once I asked for a drink recommendation, Sherry didn't hesitate to help. My husband noticed they had lobster tails on the menu, and you know I had to go for it. I ordered the lobster tail meal with a baked sweet potato on the side. My husband chose the Amberjack cheeseburger with a side of mac & cheese . While we waited for our entrées, I hit up the salad bar , which was fresh and well-kept. The veggies looked bright and crisp -- no wilted greens here! When our food came out, I was truly excited -- my lobster tail was beautifully plated with thoughtful garnishes, but the real magic started the second I took a bite . The flavor was chef's kiss -- perfectly seasoned, with just the right hint of lemon and a buttery finish. I didn't even have to reach for extra butter -- it was already that good. Later, when I spoke to the owner, I found out the secret was something called Jimmy's seasoning, and trust me, it works! My husband really enjoyed his burger -- cooked perfectly and full of flavor. He even let me try his mac & cheese, and let me tell you... creamy, cheesy, and straight-up comfort food heaven. My only minor critique: the antipasta salad from the salad bar wasn't quite up to par. The pasta was a bit overcooked and lacked the zesty vinaigrette flavor I usually look for. But hey, if that's the only thing I could point out, you know the rest of the experience was top-tier! Before we left, I asked Camila if I could speak with the owner, and she kindly introduced me to Corona (that's what the regulars call him). This man is clearly passionate about what he does. We chatted about the food, and I even mentioned how I regretted not coming in sooner -- this place had been sitting on my "Want to go" list for way too long! Corona was genuinely open to feedback, even apologizing for the salad bar issue and thanking me for pointing it out. His love for the restaurant shines through, and it makes a world of difference knowing that the owner personally cooks the lobster tails to ensure perfection. All in all, this spot is perfect whether you're grabbing a meal with the family or looking for a sweet date night. The décor is welcoming, and the ambiance matches the menu beautifully. Oh, and one last thing... I brought home some extra hush puppies and reheated them the next morning. They paired so well with my coffee that I'm honestly dreaming about going back for more. Highly recommend!
