My meal, minus some salad and a biscuit.
    John C.

The restaurant is located right off major roads and has good parking. It's Red Lobster ambiance, token marine theme, clean, adequate in all respects, family and everyone friendly. My server was prompt, efficient, cordial and right on the edge of too attentive. I splurged with a self created platter. It came quickly, hot things hot, cold things cold. The biggest disappointment was that a side salad is now a "premium " side that you pay extra for. I know they are in financial trouble but that is chinchie and disappointing. The salad was good. If the scampi's sauce wasn't on the shrimp they would have tasted the same as the "grilled " shrimp. A charred wooden flat stick and a touch of char on the tail of each shrimp, but, just shrimp. Scampi was tame on the garlic. The lobster tails were cooked. The food was hot. The small baked potato was good. The biscuits good. It was a comfortably common seafood meal. But, they did what they do well here and it's why I went. Like most all chain restaurants it's not the place to go for a "WOW" factor meal.

I was very impressed and pleased with my dinner. My girls loved there crabs and calamari. I definitely will be back and the service was also very good.

I was taking care of an errand in the neighborhood so ran in mid-afternoon to this Red Lobster. I have to say the fish was very fresh. I just had the crunch fried flounder, pretty ordinary order; it was very good, extremely fresh and tasty, mild and crunchy. I was happy with that. I had a baked potato, it also was very fresh and tasty, on the small side... not tiny, but not as big as you'd like a restaurant baked potato to be, but very good. The first try at Cheddar Bay Bicuits was good but not great. But my server made it right and brought out some that were the usual off the scale fantastic. My salad was fine, but it didn't seem right that for a meal that comes with two sides they charge $2.49 extra substitute a salad for one of the sides... that just seemed kind of nitpicky nickel and dimey. My server was very attentive and efficient and accurate. Not too bad an experience for three in the afternoon.

Came here for a birthday celebration, and although it was an okay dinner, nothing really over the top to write home about. The place was clean and not busy on a Wednesday night. Our server was attentive. Our food was okay, but portions such as the lobster dip appetizer and the clam chowder soup are much smaller than they used to be. Call it inflation, sure.

    Fisherman's platter maybe?

I don't go here often as I'm hooked on PAPPADEAUXS but I can say that RED LOBSTER revamped their menu, cooking techniques, freshness of the food, and flavor profile. The calamari was different from the last time I had been here decades ago when they had smaller calamari and a whole bunch of mixed and fried veggies intertwined with the calamari. Their new incarnation was very good with the hot chili peppers being a nice twist. Whatever platter I ordered was good as well but the small shrimp seemed like they were Kroger brand, or Gortons or Van De Kamps out of the frozen food section. My spot PAPPADEAUXS would never take a short cut like this but in now way would I further try to compare these two restaurants as it would be an apple to oranges comparison. Two meals during lunch, a kids meal, two cocktails, and an appetizer before tip was over $100. I wasn't looking to spend that much for lunch but whatever, everything was good. If you go I recommend you using a coupon or special or something to keep the costs down. We're doing okay but not ballin outta control to be paying for $100 dollar lunches at RED LOBSTER of all places. I'd rather spend that at PAPPADEAUXS or locally at Jeff Ruby or THE TOP in Bexley.

It is always a great time to go to Red Lobster, but especially for endless shrimp. The service was great, of course I went earlier in the day so it was not busy. I tried all the different kinds that they offered. I ordered the Brussel sprouts for my side, this is a must have because the sauce is so good. It's nice that they let you take your left overs home. Everything was very good and tasty.

Is there anything better than Cheddar Bay Biscuits?

We decided to hit up Red Lobster for dinner tonight while we still have one. Our server was spectacular. En route to the restaurant we discussed our concerns about the service since Red is going through some issues. No worries at Georgesville Rd. Our waitress and the others we could hear around us were top notch. We both got the Tuesday Special - one pound of snow crab legs, crispy potatoes, and a side of your choice for $20. A great bargain. You can get the crab legs steamed or doused in garlic butter. We got them with the garlic butter on the side, not sure why they aren't served that way. The crispy potatoes were very good. We both got broccoli which was lightly seasoned and perfectly cooked. I wasn't really sure what a pound of crab legs would look like, but no worries. There were plenty to keep us busy and fill us up. I have to say, I am rather diligent when it comes to getting every last morsel that crab legs have to offer. They were so, so good. I have to add that Cheddar Bay Biscuits RULE! They were as good as ever. I hope Red continues to operate this location so we never have to again worry about the availability of Cheddar Bays or the crab legs special. I felt we had a delicious and filling dinner (I took my potatoes home. There were so many) at a reasonable price, with absolutely impeccable service. We need to drop Red Lobster back into our night out rotation. Notes: We were seated at the first booth right inside the door, so we could not see how busy or how tidy the restaurant was. Our table and immediate area were clean. We didn't use the restrooms, so we can't comment. Also, we were too full for dessert, so no review there either. Head on over to Red Lobster while Corporate works on getting their act together. Help keep Red going. They're working hard for us at the Georgesville Rd location. We haven't been there for quite a while because our previous few tries were really rather Meh. Not anymore. Glad we gave them another try.

Our food and service was amazing! Our waitress Sheila was super patient with us, informative, and kind. The food was surprisingly very good. I had my doubts about quality, because it was nearing the end of the day, but I was impressed. My husband is also allergic to shellfish, but loves the biscuits here. I was nervous because for this reason, but the kitchen made sure his food was cooked separately and everything was okay. Thank you Red Lobster for the wonderful evening. My order: Lobster, shrimp, and Salmon with baked potato. Other order: NY Stip Steak, rice, and baked potato.

Salad bowl is chilled. None of those onions on salad and extra french dressing. Diet Coke or course.

Even at a hefty $32 for a roll and chips, I wasn't mad about it. This is a much larger roll than other lobster trucks out there and is seriously packed with meat and then loaded with toppings. These guys don't skimp on food or flavor. Plus, the dudes running the truck are funny and certainly give good advice on what to try. This one is a can't miss for me whenever I see them roll into town (which is pretty rare where I am). I also ordered a water because it was rather warm. I gathered my lunch walked over to a picnic table, nearby and sat down to eat. My first bite into the sandwich or roll as they label them was literally a shock to my memory, it took me back to being in Maine many years ago and getting a lobster roll at a restaurant. Now I know my memory is not what it used to be, but I can honestly say this was a freaking delicious lobster roll. I ate the entire roll, wiped my face with a napkin at the table. And went up and told the server behind the counter how good the food was and that I can't wait to literally find them close by again. I will admit, I did not eat all the potato chips, because I didn't need them, but they were also good. I just read on Facebook where they're going to be in Westchester on July 20 now I need to find out where because that's literally five minutes from my house. I truly cannot wait to order another lobster roll or two. If you've never eaten at this food truck, I highly recommend it. On the day I purchased my role. It was $29 which a lot of people might think is a lot of money literally for a sandwich, but I will tell you this it is truly worth it.

The quality of food and service has really dropped. Went there for an annual and traditional holiday lunch with a friend--we've been doing this at least 30 years. I checked the menu online before I went so I could decide. A lunch menu was online. When my friend and I were seated, my friend commented that the prices had greatly increased. It was the dinner menu. When I asked our server whether they had discontinued the lunch menu I saw online--he said 'they must have forgotten to give it to us.' He returned with the lunch menu. I ordered the tilapia bianca. It was awful. The shrimp was steamed/broiled but the tilapia was fried. Who puts a buerre blanc sauce over fried fish and pasta? The pasta was lumped together under a third of the plate instead of under all of the food. I ate half, and boxed half because I didn't want my friend to think I was ungrateful, and threw the rest away when I got home. This was on a Friday at lunch time. Unlike when it was a Mitchell's restaurant and full on Fridays--there could not have been more than 8 other diners. I noticed that the host was still seating people with dinner menus. Due to a mix up a week earlier, I was unable to meet my friend and he stayed and ate. He told me they gave him the dinner menu that day too. I don't think they 'forget.' I think that business is slow because the quality of the food has declined, and so they make up the difference in the lunch sales drop off by hoping people won't notice that they've not been offered the lunch menu. I am unlikely to return.

The place was not smoky except for right at my grill. Standard KBBQ set up. You can also do hot pot. I got a couple of kinds of bulgogi, garlic chicken, brisket, pineapple, etc. They have the usual offerings. I did try their Siji Signature pork belly. And it was pretty darn good. I think it had been marinated. They also do a garlic one. They have a sauce bar, and a few appetizer/accompaniment things. I saw something new to me, prickly ash oil I think it was called. I asked, and the waitress said it was peppery. And it is indeed, but also with the numbing Szechuan pepper. Definitely a little tingly. You can dip your food in it, or I assume people cook in it too. Good, but not good enough to try again. They have a bunch of other sauces. The meats were all decent portions, and were tender and flavorful. The fruits and veggies were fresh and flavorful. The cost even wasn't ridiculous. $19 I think for lunch. I was out of there with a tip and drink for less than $30. It's far out of my way, and it has the usual KBBQ drawback of awkward seating up against the table base. But I really enjoyed it. And I can't find anything significant to take a star away from it. So five stars, and I'd go back.

We chose to do both the Korean BBQ and Hot Pot since we had never tried Hot Pot before. We decided to check out the sauce bar, which had 5 recipes for sauce combinations on the wall. Unfortunately, when I tried to make one of the sauces there was no regular vinegar. When I asked a server she said "oh I'm not sure why that is on there, we don't have that" even though it was painted onto the wall. This was disappointing considering I had already started mixing the sauce together so I had to improvise. When we went back to the table all of the food we ordered was there and it was A LOT! The portions for Hot Pot were larger than the Korean BBQ portions. I wish they would have explained this in advance because my husband and I would have split some items or not ordered as much. For example I ordered cabbage and bok choy, but received about half of a small cabbage and an entire plate of bok choy. My husband wanted to try some new items, and was given 6 pieces of sausage, 10 imitation crab sticks, and 6 large lobster balls. We wished we could have ordered by piece or in smaller portions. The broths for the Hot Pot were tasty. My husband for the pork broth and I got the miso. Both were yummy and worked with the items we ordered. We enjoyed the brisket but the bulgogi was a little chewy. We would skip this next time. Overall, unless you're incredibly hungry or with a large group I would choose Korean BBQ or Hot Pot, but both was a lot for the two of us. We enjoyed the vibe and the large variety of items. We will definitely be back to try other items!

I started with the sushi of which there was a very large selection of both sashimi and sushi rolls, including several different toppings. I was bitterly disappointed that the taste of the sushi was not good. In fact, I could not even eat it except for the fried items which were good, although not really hot. I'm a little embarrassed to say that I did stuff a couple pieces of sushi in a napkin so that it didn't look so wasteful but really I could not eat it. Unfortunately this was my daughter's first time trying sushi so still not sure if she likes it. Onto the other hot dishes, the Asian food such as general Tso chicken, chicken with mushrooms, and beef with peppers was all very good. However, the fried rice just had some color and onion in it, no egg, no carrots, no peas. And the noodles were very basic but edible. The spring roll was very mushy again could not finish that. At this point, I was kind of over trying to find things that I liked and decided to end with some ice cream.
