came here with my wife. waited hour and a half to be seated in a one quarter filled restaurant. dining room was 55 degrees (i used app on my phone). had rock shrimp and calamari for apps rock shrimp was salad shrimp that was mostly breading was just warm and almost no sauce. calamari was colder than the room and over cooked and tasteless. sushi made gas station sushi look and taste like gourmet. when we told server it was freezing in dining area she said i know. read more

Eh. Only way I can describe it. I have had better general tsos from many take out chinese places for 10 bucks. This was almost 30. The steak dish that was 36 bucks was cold. My husband and I went there on a Monday night, quiet and not many people there which was great. I started with a crispy tofu bun, which is the tiniest 'bun' I've ever seen.... just tofu and edamame and a few mushrooms.... $9.00.... husband got wonton soup which he had to drown in salt to give it some taste... For a meal, I got a crunchy roll, which was good and my husband got a bowl of chicken fried rice, also good... To drink, we got a scorpion bowl, which was sooooo not even close to a 'good' Scorpion bowl... it was red, mostly grenadine and not that much liquor.... however, they charge FORTY FIVE dollar for this thing..... !!!! When I got the bill, I called the waiter over because I was sure it was a mistake...... he told me that it was not a mistake, that is what they charge because they consider it to be like 'four' drinks..... sooooooo NOT 'four drinks' worth of alcohol. Wow!!!! I realize this restaurant is at Foxwoods and that you are going to pay more, but OMG, that is ridiculous..... my husband and I have had many Scorpion bowls at different places and the most we have EVER paid for one is $20.00..... The bowl went down quickly, so I ordered another drink which ended up being like $12.00.... I'll never come back to this clip joint, which is a shame because I love the ambience, the waiter was very good.... and the food, for the most part, is good. Avoid this place at all costs! Email sent to general managers: Mr. Joe O'Connor and Mr. Andrew Bengston, On Monday July 23, I dined at your restaurant with my 2 children, elderly parents and aunt. We had a 7pm reservation. Our server was named Nicole. I had ordered the children's food (ages 7 and 2) first as they were already hungry and I did not want them to be cranky. We then ordered the adults food. After 45 minutes, we still had no food. I asked Nicole where our food was and she rudely stated "the sushi kitchen is busy". We told her we had been waiting 45 minutes and we will take any part of our order that was ready. By now it was close to 8 pm and we were justifiably starving. Not once did Nicole come to our table to follow up with us. I then asked the hostess to send over the manager on duty. I spoke to Justin and stated that others around us who had arrived after us had already gotten their orders from both the kitchen and sushi bars. He said it was their mistake and that he would take care of the bill for us. It was clear that Nicole had forgotten to place our order. By this point my kids are cranky and all the of adults are beyond frustrated. Not once since the food was finally delivered did Nicole or Justin come and see if we had everything that we needed. Which at this point 1 part of our order was stilling missing. I then told Nicole that Justin said our meal would be complimentary. She rudely stated "the other food came on time so you have to pay for that". So we ended up spending $50 at your dining establishment for the most horrendous dining experience of my life. I have dined at a gamut of restaurants from small mom and pop restaurants to Michelin star fine dining establishments and have never experienced such a horrible level of service. I also frequent your Boston seaport location. Nicole should not be a server if she does not know how to treat customers. It was clear she made a mistake and was not apologetic but rather had a combative attitude toward us. She was rude, dismissive and had a horrible attitude. These are not qualities you want in a server. As for Justin, why would he tell us that yes it was their fault but then charge us $50 anyways? The lack of customer service is beyond astounding. You have an obligation to your paying customers to provide a level of service and that was clearly not met here. read more

Hostess was disgustingly rude! We come here every few months we stay at Foxwoods and they're usually great and the food is good but this time was a bad experience all because we brought our child who is a great kid. Meanwhile last time we came in December we brought our child and everyone was so accommodating. This woman so was rude and made us feel unwanted and uncomfortable. Because of her I will never step foot into this restaurant again. It's a shame because we spend a good amount of money there and the food is decent. She was a blonde hair young woman with a red sweater. This was on Sunday. The manager should fire her! Because the waitress was somewhat nice and accommodating. One of my favorite places at Foxwoods. They have a night club downstairs but the food is more appealing to me. They have your usual sushi a la cart menu as well as traditional noodle and fried rice dishes. (Warning 1 order of fried rice fed my whole family) they also offer some super creative and fresh sushi rolls if you're willing to try something new. The service is always great and the dishes generally come out super quick. I would recommend this place to a couple trying to have a romantic meal out, or for those of you planning on feeding a massive table of friends and family. Oh and my favorite dish: the lobster rangoons. If you don't like fish this will be your new favorite fish appetizer. You can barely taste the lobster because they blend it with such a heavenly light cream then they fry it to perfection. Served with a sauce almost mimicking a balsamic glaze. well lets start by saying it was an early bday gift from my sisters it was a huge disappointment the staff was not friendly.

Went here for our mother's 89 Birthday. AWFUL EXPERIENCE. Our table was freezing, which management knew about because they had an ineffective space heater that they would point at the table from under the bar at our request. Food service was fine for apps but went downhill from there. Dishes were never cleared or replaces, so we eventually did it our selves. When asked to speak to the manager, he came over and his solution was to blame things on the waitress, who was the only one actually providing good service. The final insult was that, after repeated reminders, they never brought over the celebratory dragon and dessert for our mom's birthday. This was among the reasons we chose this venue! Have been here 3 or 4 times and enjoyed each one. Seated immediately at an excellent table. Three friends shared Crunchy Roll, Red Dragon, Singapore street noodles and chicken fried rice. The maki was good. The fried rice was excellent. Attentive service and the manager stopped to say hello and asked how everything was. The restaurant has a nice ambience and confortable feel. Maso Canali pinot grigio a bit pricey at $48 per bottle but this is casino land where almost everything is. Will definitely return for another consistently good experience. read more

We had a large party and had to do the prix fix menu with no choice...also there was a 3% administration fee that we were not notified about in advance...the staff were rude and not accommodating...our bill was over $1000 dollars and the food we got was not worth that...it would have been cheaper to order al a carte...the prix fix menu is a sham and a ploy to make money...I will never dine here again! read more

I love their street noodles and dumplings! I could order those every single time and never get tired of it. The sushi is also good but I feel like it's sometimes a hit or miss, depending on the roll. Which is why I took away a star. I feel like they should also have a sushi lunch option because they only open after 5. The drinks are pricey and I haven't found one specialty drink that I would reorder which is why I took away another star. Their entree options is really what gets me to come back. The staff is also nice and it seems pretty clean every time I go which is why I wouldn't give them a bad review. read more

Infrequent reviewer unless exceptionally good or bad and this was a total disaster. Seated by hostess and no one approached us at the table for almost 15 minutes. Finally waiter arrived, we told him we had to leave at 8pm for show (now 50 minutes away). Appetizers came very fast so we thought this would go well, but no. Our entrees still hadn't arrived ~25 minutes later. Then another waiter racing to a table slammed into our table, spilling our drinks. My wife's martini glass shattered on the floor and my tiki drink (cleverly opaque so hard to notice the supermajority of ice vs drink) also spilled. Remarkably, liquid was neither wiped from our table nor the floor and this waiter finally came by about five minutes later to pick up just the large pieces of broken glass. Our waiter came by a few minutes later and we told him we needed to get food asap. Then the manager stopped by and appropriately offered us drinks replacements plus comp for the spilled drinks, that he would hurry our food and also get the bill so this would not hold us up at the end. He did none of the above. Another 10 minutes passed and the food arrived about 7 minutes before our showtime. My wife's macadamia nut salmon was good except it lacked macadamia nuts and my peking duck was ample but the pancakes were thick and crumbly and the sauce tray was served without a serving spoon (all in all just OK food at NYC prices). Despite our time crunch, our waiter whizzed around the room for about 10 minutes and never came towards or looked to us so I had to go across the room and get him for the bill (which did not take into account that the drinks were comp'd). No time to argue as we wanted to catch our show. Everyone's entitled to an off day (and maybe this is how it goes in a casino restaurant before showtime) but this was a complete breakdown. First time here, server was very unprofessional and not very friendly at all. Never check on us or asked how our food was, never asked if we wanted another drink. The place had 15 maybe 20 people in it. Very slow night, we were seated in the corner and wanted to move over as we ordered a lot of food and had only a tiny table, waited serval minutes for our server who never came over until we moved to the table next to us and were scolded by the "busboy" who was extremely rude, you're a busboy, not a manager or a cop, slow your roll and go clean some more tables kid. Anyway, service was very poor, food was awful and the drink was terrible. We spent over $160 for the two of us and didn't even complain because it wasn't worth our time and we did not feel comfortable or welcome. We're both working class professionals and we still tipped our horrible waitress 20%. I won't be back and would never recommend this nightmare of a restaurant. read more

We've come here twice for birthday celebrations with the same group of friends and it has always been a great experience. Last night was our most recent visit. My fiancé and I split the tuna tartare appetizer (to die for), two of the $5 bao appetizers that were on special, the chirashi naruto roll, spicy tuna maki and an order of lobster rangoons. Our friends raved about their pupu platter. All of the food was excellent. We cleaned every plate. We also each had a $5 Mai-tai. They were not our favorite part of the meal - a little too sweet, but still drinkable, especially for $5. Everyone had one and then switched to something else. Our server (Amanda?) was wonderful - gracious, knowledgeable and professional. Some of the people who were helping her run our food seemed a little less polished as servers (not removing empty plates from the very crowded table while dropping off new items, reaching over outstretched forks, etc) . They were still polite and perfectly proficient, though. My guess would be that the new servers start as food runners for the veterans like Amanda, so they can learn from the best. Prices are very reasonable. This has become our favorite place to eat when we come to Foxwoods. read more

Happened to be at Foxwoods so decided to get the all you can eat sushi. If your looking for high quality then this isn't the place for you. Rice was warm and rolls are just average. Very small selection given the $25 pp price tag. Service started bad but we complained to the assistant manager and ended up with a great waitress. As an aside, the assistant manager was horrible. Lucky the supervisor made up for it with her exuberance and a great dessert on the house. Management should really retrain these people as they are why I only give this place 3 stars. Atmosphere was fine. Nothing really updated since it was Shrine. All in all there are better restaurants at Foxwoods so I wouldn't bother with this one. read more

Food was pretty good. Loud atmosphere since there is a dance floor downstairs, which was understandable. But what was completely unacceptable was the table we were seated at. It felt like a table that was just placed their randomly literally in a walk way between other tables. And the table was completely unbalanced and rocked back in forth anytime pressure was applied to it. I was obviously upset with our experience but when (who I'm assuming was one of the managers) came over to ask us how everything was. We literally couldn't get a word in because he was too busy running his mouth about how it was such a great "club scene". For the cost of our meals and drinks it wasn't worth it and I will not be returning. read more

Sushi was exceptionally fresh. Servers were very personable. 5$ Monday mai tais were not watered down. Tuna tempura roll and the Ronin roll are my favorites. Request a little extra spicy mayo and chili sauce on the side for a little extra kick. My experience was extremely enjoyable and I would most definitely return. read more

Was looking forward to our dinner last night, as we've had positive experiences in the past. But last night was terrible. After waiting 45 min for our appetizers, we finally called over the waitress for status. She advised it was coming soon. Fifteen minutes later, entrees started to come (still no apps). And the first 2 out were so cold, they were inedible. We finally called for the manager who said he would comp the apps (of course he should, they never came). Half our table was served, and half waited another 1/2 hour for entrees. The 2nd time my salmon came, it was raw inside, but I ate around it, because it had already been close to 2 hrs since we were seated. All we heard was they were slammed (they weren't) and serve food as dishes come out from kitchen (they obviously didn't because food was cold and other tables were getting served.) At the end of the night, we ended up paying $300 for cold, late, horrifically timed food, and were expected to be happy that they comped apps that weren't eaten (or even served) and 1 entree. read more
