Oh so perfect. So now we do this thing, every time we go to Foxwoods, we come here for a few light bites to share before we see a show, concert or simply a night of drinks and gambling. You just feel so much better about yourself, not feeling sluggish and weighed down all night by a heavy meal elsewhere. Sometimes we sit at the sushi bar and watch all of the hand rolls being made. Sometimes we sit at a cozy table for two. Either one is great in our books. The service is great and prompt. The ambiance is a little sultry and a tinge dark and mysterious. Will we be back? Well we have and we will...time and time again.

The Red Lantern should have contacted the intergalactic super hero green lantern for some help. This restaurant has a plethora of soft red lantern lights hanging above sleek black tables. This creates a dim atmosphere where you may need a flashlight to read the menu. The service was cordial and great! When your eyes finally adapt to the darkness the menu offers a Fusion blend of Chinese and Japanese food. We ordered the General tso's chicken, teriyaki steak noodles and a sushi rainbow roll. The general tso chicken was too bready and the sweet and sour sauce was bland. The teriyaki steak noodles was greasy and the skirt steak tough and chewy. We were disappointed to say the least. The highlight of the night? The rainbow roll was the best dish of the evening. The tuna, salmon, hamachi, white fish was fresh and everything in the roll worked perfectly together as the textures and flavors were spot on delicious. Unfortunately, I left disappointed as the main entrées missed the mark. In addition the red light effect reflecting off the dishes takes away in appreciating any plate appeal. They may or may not need a super hero to fix the quality of the dishes, but something needs to be done as I left here red face with disappointment.

This place is so consistently amazing that whatever you order will be First Class Prepared Dining Experience! Came back and Belly Up to the Sushi Counter to satisfy my craving for the Best Sushi I have ever had! My Favorite Long Time Sushi Chef JOSELINO and his Talented Staff has always presented me with his expert techniques in sushi Presentations! I always look forward to his artistry in sushi! So, if you want the Ultimate Sushi Experience then sit at the Sushi Bar and enjoy what Chef JOSELINO has to offer while watching what really goes on right infront of you! For those who might be unsure about sushi then go on a Thursday to experience Endless Sushi for a modest amount! You will be happy you did! As for the atmosphere it is relaxing and calming lighting and style! Service is attentive and pleasant! But, my only downside for me is that I don't live nearby and can't come here as much as I like! Go and Experience my favorite Chef and tell him I sent you!

We have always walked by this place and finally stopped in - it's now a new favorite! We were able to walk in and take a seat at the sushi counter without a reservation, which was so great to not have to wait and to also watch the kitchen work - very cool! Service was friendly and quick, always refilling our drinks. I loved the avocado maki roll and the general Tso's chicken entree. My husband loved the veggie spring rolls (he is always so critical and loved these), and his entree of the special - meat lovers fried rice. We can't wait to go back!

Been coming here for YEARS and this visit was the BEST. The Shrimp Lo Mein was out of this world amazing! The sushi was delicious!

Seemingly every time that I have dined at red lantern the food has always been spot on. I've got plenty of pics to prove. Here are just a sampling of all of the meals I have experienced. Each time the sushi is super fresh, and I believe they have some of the better chefs in the industry. I've also gotten to experience sushi making classes, hosted by big night entertainment, which is the group that owns this establishment(they own several..(worth googling). Super cool and learned a lot about the requirements and the entire process. The service is always stellar and I don't recall anything but perfect service from the hosts to the bartenders, managers, and everything in between. It takes an entire killer staff to continuously pack them in day in and day out, never wavering from the quality. Great for group dining for special occasions as they have a dining area that can be reserved, but I would call weeks ahead and ask about that knowing it could be booked out! Lastly the drinks are mint!!! Try a Coupla few... you'll be glad you did Cheers

Honestly, it was OK. Like most places at Foxwoods. You get all amped only to have mediocre food and ok service. The only cool thing about the place other than the lighting was the fact that it's in conjunction with Shrine night club below, so you can usually get deals for tickets. I will recommend the lobster Rangoons and espresso martini, though!

Great service, great atmosphere, great drinks and BEST LO MEIN EVER. Pleasantly surprised. Watching the inebriated dancers at Shrine from the top was an added bonus.

We had a great experience! The food was delicious. The service and atmosphere made it a great night out. I can't wait to return.

Definitely recommend making reservations for the weekend. We were lucky enough to grab a seat at the bar. We informed the bartender that we were in a rush so she took our order and we received it within 5 minutes of ordering. We weren't impressed with any of the food. The lobster ragoon was over stuffed with too much cream cheese and you couldn't tell if there was lobster in it. The rolls were bland overall and nothing impressive. I have been here multiple times and definitely recommend the drinks, rock shrimp and evenings that they have specials. Staff is friendly.

Hindsight is 20/20, and I wish in 2022 I read the Yelp reviews prior to making a reservation and getting excited. To start, it's clear the interior designers did their job right. Red lantern is beautiful and moody inside like a NYC cocktail bar. Our waitress was also a gem and friendly. RL was marked as upscale dining, yet tons of folks were in sneakers and jeans... Ok -- Maybe they're feeling that casual NYC vibe..it was a Thursday after all. Yikes, the kitchen needs help. The spring roll appetizer was mushy and dripping with oil. Next, we tried the endless sushi promo. I had on my streeecchhy leggings and was ready to eat ! $30/pp allowed you multiple courses of basic rolls (Yellowtail, California, sweet potato, spicy tuna etc). While I appreciated that the maki rolls were made differently than what I'm used to (instead of spicy mayo, it's fish with hot sauce atop - OK!), nothing tasted super fresh. Yellowtail and Salmon were especially fishy tasting. If the roll was fried, it was quite oily instead of a crisp light tempura. (Looking at you, my friend sweet potato!). Could have eaten more but wasn't feeling it. Maybe it was the two glasses I wine I had... Still, I can get better tasting sushi from strip mall joints at home. Maybe their other food is better, but wouldn't come back.

Someone who I presume was the manager enthusiastically greeted us and sat us down. We were quickly greeted by our server who was very friendly and polite. We ordered tteokbokki, veggie spring rolls, Korean fried tenders and BBQ bulgogi. The food came out pretty quickly and almost all at once, though there was a mixup and we ended up with fried shrimp instead of tteokbokki. I think the server misheard us when we put in the order, so an honest mistake. With that he quickly apologized, took it off the bill and got our tteokbokki order. The spring rolls were very tasty, boyfriend especially loved those. The chicken tenders were massive, and boyfriend really liked the spicy sauce on those as well. Tteokbokki was pretty good as well. The server left the fried shrimp at the table, and while I normally don't like shrimp (it's a texture thing for me) I didn't want it to go to waste so I decided to give it a try and it was actually quite good! The fry on it was great and the texture of the meat was soft. However I think my favorite thing that I had was the bulgogi, as the beef was very tender, well marinated and quite flavorful. Despite the one hiccup with our food order (albeit one that might've actually made me more willing to try more shrimp dishes), we had a good time at Seoul Alley. The food hit the spot for us and we would return whenever we're at Foxwoods again.

The Korean wine alone is a moment--bright, flavorful, and way more interesting than your standard casino drink options. It's the kind of sip that makes you pause and go, "Okay, they're doing something right here." Service was on point from start to finish. Friendly, fast, and attentive without hovering--exactly the balance you want when the casino energy is buzzing around you. And the food? Delicious across the board. Bold flavors, great textures, and dishes that feel thoughtfully put together rather than just "casino convenient." Everything we tried landed. Seoul Alley brings a fresh, flavorful vibe to Foxwoods, and it's absolutely worth a stop. With a few small refinements, it could easily hit that five‑star sweet spot, but even as is, it's a standout in the lineup. Cheers

Our drinks came out, but mine was extremely sweet and had an odd smell and taste, almost like what I would imagine a Band-Aid would taste like. Although it was supposed to have a mix of ingredients, all I could taste was pineapple juice. I only took one sip and left the drink untouched. We also noticed that one utensil was dirty, with a chunk of dried food still stuck to the knife. We placed it in front of us expecting one of the servers to notice and replace it, but no one ever did. After a little over an hour, no one had checked on us, asked how the drinks were, apologized for the wait, or updated us on our food. We could not get the servers' attention because they rarely looked in our direction. When we finally got someone's attention and asked what was going on, we were told the food was coming soon. We explained that no one had checked on us, my drink was clearly untouched, and the dirty utensil had still not been taken away. At that point, we said we just wanted to pay for the one drink and leave. The server said they were swamped and implied the delay was because we ordered the burger well done. I explained that I have made and ordered well-done burgers before, and it should not take over an hour without any communication. If a well-done burger takes that long, customers should be told ahead of time so they can decide whether they still want to order it. Both bartenders seemed annoyed rather than genuinely apologetic, which made the experience even worse. The lack of communication, dirty utensils, poor service, and disappointing drink made this a horrible experience overall. Sadly, we will not be returning. It is surprising as Gordon Ramsay is known on television for holding restaurants to such high expectations, but when we visited his restaurant, it was clear those same standards were not being followed.

The ambiance at Scorpion Bar is nice. The lightening is nice and the decor is cool. My friend ordered a mango mojito and I ordered a virgin mojito which was surprisingly very tasty and refreshing. It did take a while for our food order to be taken. One of the bartenders said she would come back to take our food order after finishing a round of drinks, but then never came back so we had to ask another bartender to take our order after about 10 minutes of waiting. We ordered the nachos with ground beef. Those were pretty good, I liked how cheesy they were. For our main meal, we decided to get two tacos each and the birria quesadilla. The tacos were good! My favorite was the Baja fish taco. It was very flavorful and one of the best fish tacos I've had in CT. I was disappointed in the birria quesadilla. It was just OKAY. It was pretty pricey for just the quesadilla and no sides. I didn't think the meat was seasoned enough. The last item we got was the fried ice cream for dessert. We got it because the bartender said it was a large portion and was pretty good. It was NOT that goood. It was extremely large...like almost too big. The fried dough that covered the ice cream was very sugary and wasn't warm and the ice cream was very plain. I would not recommend. Overall, I think if you are looking for a restaurant at the casino with good ambiance, good drinks and decent food, I would recommend Scorpion Bar.

I'm not sure if he was an audio replacement for a bell or what, but like every time he yelled, I would jump. Like it's not comfortable for me to eat and hear someone yell with a tone that sounds like a fight is about to start. Also, compared to the local ramen shops and franchises in my area, their ramen is $2 more than my local area and tastes worse. Think bold colors, pulsing lights, and a soundtrack that keeps the energy high from happy hour to last call. It's the kind of place that doesn't whisper "fun"--it shouts it with neon flair. The location is ideal: steps away from the casino floor, close to the action but just removed enough to feel like its own little oasis of nightlife. Whether you're pre-gaming before a show or winding down after a lucky streak at the tables, The Neon Palm is perfectly placed for a quick escape into cocktail chaos. And the drinks? Let's just say they're not shy. Oversized, over-the-top, and often loaded with enough sugar and booze to guarantee a next-day headache if you're not careful. But that's part of the charm.
