It is cute, cozy, immaculate, comfortable room and bed, porch to cherish, close to the trail and has a great breakfast. Now, the best part. we met owners Chuck and Denise for the first time. So pleasant and helpful as can be. Our group had an injured rider stay for two days even while others rode. Seriously, between the owners and an angel employee named Loretta (?) they cared for him like he was family. We would/will not stay anywhere but Yoder House given the chance to ride GAP again.

Parked our two valuable bikes in the garage and told us that the door would only be closed to secure the bikes once everyone was in for the evening, in other words didn't care about securing our hard earned valuables/property and/or didn't want to spend the quarter on electricity to open it and close it a couple of times. When asked if any luggage had been delivered, she responded "I don't know, I don't care about or pay attention to luggage"! Next, we received our elementary school style stern lecture on how everything worked around the house. Told us we got no breakfast because we were leaving too early (7am) and that we had screwed up by not making the ride into Cumberland, as that was the best day. After my shower, my threadbare towel nearly tore as I dried off. Stay elsewhere unless snarky and aloof service on the cheap is your thing!

There is a hot tub; bring a suit. You can indicate what time you'd like breakfast and the food is well prepared and delicious with excellent quantity and variety. Tea, juice, milk and good coffee are on offer. There is a cozy sitting area where adult beverages as well as bottled water, tea and coffee are available with board games and a fireplace. This is near skiing, and you could enjoy beautiful Somerset fall foliage. I'm told it is rarely humid in the area. It is also close close to the memorial for flight 93. We were in town with family for a funeral and this was a very comforting place to gather and spend time with family and friends. The owners and staff are considerate and kind. They took marvelous good care of us.

Francis, the owner operator, met us at the door and directed us on where to wash and stow the bikes. Being on the GAP trail this B&B is very bike friendly. We had several other cyclist join us that evening. Once inside we were greeted with freshly baked pastries and cookies. Excellent chocolate chip cookies, some of the best I've ever had. As we were on our bikes and a couple of miles from town, Francis drove us in to town for dinner, dropping us off at the Smoke House, and arranging to pick us up at the gazebo in the town's Central Park. The facility itself is wonderful. We had a large spacious room, with comfortable beds. Perfect after a long day on the trail. The living area was spacious with a large reading area and comfortable couches and chairs. There was also a TV viewing area. We had plenty of table space for computers, and mobile devices, with a very solid hi speed wifi. Breakfast was absolutely marvelous. Francis went over her extensive menu the night before. A perfect way to see us off on our journey. I hope that in the near future I can go back to The Hanna House with my wife and we can spend a few days in the Confluence area. A really nice little town . Bottom line, Hanna's is one of the nicest places I've stayed in.

My two sisters and I (and our significant others) came to celebrate a milestone birthday and were beyond impressed with this place. The ambiance is fantastic! The courtyard is beautiful as well as the patio in the back. The decorating that Kitty has done throughout the inside of the house is really beautiful. And as David says, "We want to concentrate on two things: The bed, and the breakfast." And that is exactly what they have done here. Each evening, David will come to offer your breakfast choices for the following morning. And it's not just bacon and eggs people... these are GOURMET offerings all made fresh on site using fresh ingredients. We had a choice of a peach cobbler oatmeal that had peaches from the tree in the backyard even and it was delicious! There was also one addition that just made my stay even more superb... a little dog named "Jack" and he is the most precious (smiling) doggie that I have ever seen! So stinkin' CUTE! The cake for breakfast bread was heavenly and I was surprised with a mimosa after joking about one. Food was locally sourced. Stay here and you will be amazed!!
