These were served with tortillas and taco makings. The worms were crunchy with a bit of nuttiness to them, almost like sesame. The ant larva reminded me of a type of sticky grain, with a earthy flavor with notes of honey. Both went well with some quack and salsa in the tortillas. On the next round we had: Beef tongue tacos. These were the best tacos I have ever had, the meat was super soft, actually like butter, with a nice salty edge to it. Soft shelled crap tacos, they were good, the crap had good flavor and was very soft. Grilled flank steak, this was served in a spicy sauce and was amazing both by itself or in a tortilla. The meat was a bit salty, but soft and well seasoned. Lastly we hit desert. We had a creme brulee of some sort. Great shell on top with excellent custard and fresh fruit. We also had a cheese cake that was good, not to sweat and creamy. Along with my meal I had a virgin passion fruit daiquiri made with seltzer and it was so good I had two.

On the menu, which has a variety of options, my husband discovered their "filete al trapo" which is when the steak is wrapped in a wine soaked towel and cooked. We were sold to try something so unique sounding, so we booked a reservation on trip advisor. The steak was cooked at our table on a blackstone by Chef Hope. Cooked to medium, it was perfection. Every bite was delicious and had a hint of smoke. The steak is a shared dish that comes with two sides. We both got mashed potatoes which were heavenly. Legit did not have a single bad bite to eat. Our server, Armando, was wonderful! He was quick, helpful, and nice, helping to provide recommendations and get us refills/reorders of our Old Fashioned's promptly. Service was very quick that our empanada starters came out at the same time as Chef Hope to cook the steak. The meal was very filling but I still wanted dessert so we ordered the 'chewy chenta' which is a cookie with ice cream served in a skillet. Finally, because I had mentioned we were celebrating our honeymoon when booking our table, Armando and other staff brought us over a dessert with a sparkler in it and sang us congratulations. The chicken was cooked perfectly and had great flavor. My girlfriend ordered the Andalusian-style beef roast with creamy rice, and that was excellent as well.
