So thankful Playa Del Carmen had Kosher options. I only eat Halal/Kosher and it was getting difficult during my travels to find meat that met my dietary restrictions. This restaurant has a nice outdoor area to enjoy your food, and the service is professional. It's a clean restaurant and I ended up eating here 3-4 times during my stay. Everyone I took with me was absolutely in love with their kabobs. I highly recommend getting their kabob plate or their kabob sandwich. You won't see it on the menu, but it is in their pictures on Google. You won't be disappointed. I would skip on the shawarma dishes with rice because they come with white rice, and shawarma is usually good with flavored rice in my opinion. You must give this place a try! read more

We were on our way to eat asking someone on the street about a restaurant close to where we are staying. A gentleman overheard telling us we've just got to check Moshe Cube out. The restaurant is so inviting with the wooden long tables and soft instrumental music playing. We took a table outside with fans moving the air making it very comfortable. People working there were hustling but still made you feel so welcomed. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the classic hummus and a bowl of vegetable soup. My husband chose shawarma which came with Egyptian peas and mashed potatoes. the server came back with a small bowl of a lemon cilantro sauce for the shawarma for us to try on the meat. Done to perfection and wonderful. My soup was filled with vegetables in a nice broth. The portions are very generous and we took half of our meals home to the Airbnb for next day's lunch! First time at this restaurant and I can say that we all liked our dishes.The menu was varied and had something for everyone. My chicken tacos were great. My wife enjoyed her "ribs" but she wants all to know that they are in a stew like dish. The staff were very friendly and helpful. In addition, the prices were very reasonable. Unfortunately we didn't get to order, we arrived and we were asked to wait even though several tables were empty, strange because they were rushing another couple out so we could have their table, I suggested we sit at another table as to not pressure the other couple out. We sat and were given venues and the restraint was empty, we waited patiently, nobody came to take our order, we waited and waited then a couple was sat beside us and they took their order right away, us still waiting and we ended up leaving without being served. Without a doubt the worst 2 hours I've ever spent at a restaurant half of which I wasn't sitting in the restaurant I was waiting outside while already having a reservation. Me and my boyfriend and his family were eating here, and received some of the worst service ever and then were threatened by the owner and the staff as we were leaving . Trust me I know it's NOT always the customer is always right but that doesn't mean the owner gets to talk over and try to correct everything we were trying to tell him. I ordered the "Kabab Lafa". Even a Google search will teach us that very undercooked mixed ground meat is NOT kabab. When I asked the waiter he said; "People always complain but this is how it is." (They complain because it's incorrect.) Just change the name to "Undercooked Kofta" and people won't be scammed. This is not even healthy and could make people sick. I had to send back the meat and tell them how to cook it. The second time, it was halfway cooked, but I had to eat it because I had been fasting for the whole day and had an appointment right after this. I don't advise coming near this place. I also didn't appreciate the Waiter leaving me and forgetting to give me a napkin or a bill after I asked him for it. He was too busy standing in front of the restaurant watching a woman's backside in shorts and made comments about her right (within earshot of me,) to another waiter all while I'm waiting for a napkin and for the bill. After too long, I had to go up and go get it myself at the cash register. That's not my idea of good service. The worst is that I don't know what tip he added for himself was because the bill came out too high and unmarked and now I have to go back and talk to the Owner. All I could hear behind me at the table of employees talking was "Propina..... Propina" thought I don't speak Spanish. I know what that means at least. I feel disgusted and scammed. New location. Looked as they invested a lot in nice furniture and decorating the place. Comfortable chairs and large tables. The kitchen is open which is a huge plus for me. We ordered falafel, French fries and salads as appetizers. Very tasty and good. The fries are made there and not from frozen. For main course we ordered Cube, Doner and Arayes. All were excellent. One of the best kosher restaurants I've ever had on vacation. This is not your typical kosher bland vacation food. Everything we've had here taste like it came off one of the amazing restaurants of Israel. I recommend the mafrun cuscus, a real gem.
