Herein lies another neat little coffee shop for me to add to my list of places to work remotely! Now whether or not I'll actually pick up my desk and do it is another thing, but I love coming across such options. Red Bicycle Coffee looks so cool for one to park and attempt to get some work done. The parking lot is slightly awkward but free. I came to the Red Bicycle off Nolensville pike for a lunch meeting. I didn't try any coffee, tea or crepes but did have a go at the Loaded Hot Home Fries which were lovely! The potatoes are served so crispy and fresh! I substituted the bacon with chicken. It served as my lunch but comes plenty to share with a table. My colleague had some sort of wrap or burrito that he seemed to enjoy. The staff member was very warm and ready to serve. They also have complimentary water from a dispenser and wi-fi. The menu is FILLED with crepe options whether you prefer sweet or savory. They look so good from the pics. I placed a DoorDash order. I ordered an everything bagel with egg, bacon, and paid more for extra bacon. I received a plain bagel with cream cheese. I don't understand how that kind of mistake is even possible... it's like they didn't read the ticket at all. And I didn't receive someone else's order, you can see that in the ticket. This place had nice warehouse coffee shop vibes. Unfortunately, I can't remember specifically what I ordered, but I remember ordering a cold, sweet drink as well as a sweet crepe. I remember the crepe tasting very good, and that there was also ample sunlight and ample seating. I also arrived at the shop about an hour before closing, so it makes sense that there was a lot of seating. The service was okay, employees just trying to do their job. This is an update as the service and food have gotten much better in the past few years. I'm not sure if ownership changed or what, but the service is much better now and friendly. While there can be a long line in the morning i just go during off hours and it's pretty quick. The Hangover Sandwich is great, the crepes are okay but nothing to rave about, but the coffees have always been good. Sometimes they decide to close early though which is strange even when you see people sitting inside. There's typically available seating unless it's the weekend and plenty of parking. For some reason people don't realize there's a whole lot behind the building just for parking that's a lot easier to get in and out of than the parking right by the building. It is dog friendly which is great, my bf takes my dog down there on walks and they always give her a treat. It's nice that this neighborhood coffee spot has survived! read more

Found this sport while looking for something quick on the way out to the airport. I'll apologize that I cannot remember the menu names for what we had, so I'll do my best to describe them. I had a savory crepe that had eggs, chicken, vegetables and a spicy sauce. Hubs had a sweet crepe that had banana on it. We both had iced coffees, mine was like a pina colada flavored. Everything was delicious, my crepe was HUGE and more than I could finish. Hubs seemed to like his, but did mention it was very sweet. Took a little longer than I hoped to get our food, but not an outrageous wait. I would also note, if you're following Google Maps, you have to turn about 50 feet before it tells you "you're there" to be able to access the parking lot they have in front of the store. read more

Friendly neighborhood coffeehouse. I took my pup with me to grab a coffee and breakfast sandwich after my puppy's vet appointment near by. The baristas were so friendly with my puppy and gave us a pup cup. I ordered the macaroon iced latte and it was dreamy. I come here every Sunday morning, and some weeks it's slammed with a line almost out the door and other weeks I might be the only person in there. I definitely come here for the twist pasty.  It's so light and fluffy.  The perfect amount of sweet. I picked up breakfast here on the way to work one early morning! Parking at the Woodbine location can be a bit tight, even on the week days so just do be aware if you decide to come here! I got two breakfast sandwiches: The OG- You get to choose your cheese, meat, and bread for this classic. I went with sourdough, cheddar, and bacon. I would've preferred if the sandwich were a little less greasy and burnt. However, the flavors all went together pretty well. The Griddler- This had cheese, sausage, egg, and maple syrup on it. So, my boyfriend and I were looking for a new breakfast spot to try on a Sunday when he found Red Bicycle. I have seen this restaurant around town in several locations, but had never been, and decided to give it a try. We ordered online for pickup and arrived a few minutes after our pickup time (9:45am). When we got there, it was a crowd of people standing around, but he spotted a couple of to-go orders on the counter so went up to ask if our order was ready. He stood there for about 10 minutes before the girl behind the counter even acknowledged him. Finally when she does, she handed him our coffees which had been sitting for awhile, and then informed us it would be a 20 minute wait for our food. After an hour of waiting, we finally received the 2 sandwiches that we ordered. The guy who handed us our food said "oh I was hoping y'all hadn't left already". We got home before I remembered that the sandwiches were supposed to come with chips, which we did not receive. I ordered the horchata latte, which was really good, but the sandwich I ordered was not worth an hour or the bad service that it accompanied it. Walked here from the neighborhood behind on a frigid winter morning, and enjoyed what we had. There are two larger tables with the rest being smaller seats with benches across. They have garage doors that can be lifted up when its warm out which is pretty cool. The food: We had two crepes, one filled with nutella and bananas + the other being filled with eggs, cheese, mushrooms. Both were pretty good but neither of us were mind blown and saying we had to come back for another. They were also out of several crepes due to missing ingredients which was a bummer. The coffee: We both had peppermint mochas and really enjoyed them. Perfect bite of bitter chocolate with a hint of peppermint. I wish they had it all year long! (they actually might, I'm not sure on that one) Overall, we enjoyed our breakfast/coffee at Red Bicycle, but I can think of other coffee spots I'd rather spend my money at. Ugh I really want to like this place. Nice people, And generally good vibe. I love the breakfast burrito, but that's a once in a blue moon kind of thing. I have ordered the crepes once- massive- a great value of sharing or taking home. This is now the 3rd time that I've ordered a breakfast sandwich that has gone so wrong- mainly issues with undercooked egg and terrible add ons, basically not receiving what I order. Unfortunately, I run by on my way to work, so I can't turn around to go back to ask for corrections. Today was the icing on this mess of a cake- I ordered the egg over medium- it was so lightly cooked, it had uncooked white and the yolk dripped ALL OVER MY SHIRT....and seats and console. Before I could even take a bite- like, it must have exploded as it was being packaged. The actual bagel fell apart as I was picking it up because it was now a mess from all of the goo in the box. Not only did I have to go home to change, I freaked out as it happened (in the car) and tried to wipe it off, I'm now pretty sure that shirt is toast thanks to me furiously trying to clean up in the car. I did completely miss my AM meeting.... Which I'm not mad at but also isn't a good thing. Beyond that, I asked to sub egg for the meat. Good news/bad news- there was only one egg to drip all over me. I had thought "no meat-sub egg" on a $9 sandwich would mean an additional egg. Love this places coffee. Not allergy friendly. I ordered the banana peanut crepe, a crepe which is advertised as coming with "honey, peanut butter, bananas, and granola". It came out covered in walnuts, which I'm allergic to. No big deal, I'll talk to the barista. I got to the counter and they told me it didn't come with walnuts, so I held it up, and they told me they were almonds. I bit one and had a mild reaction. Nothing big or dramatic but certainly appetite ruining. My throat itches still as I type this. Suddenly, I was worth listening to when I tell them I'm having a mild allergic reaction. They then start asking how I want it replaced and proceed to talk over each other telling me what to order, overwhelmed and being watched by the forming line now backed around the store, I just tell them to get me whatever. Went here today with the wife. The atmosphere was very calm and relaxing. Not too loud but you also didn't have to whisper and feel like everyone is listening. The music wasn't loud either and was peaceful. I had the Cinnabon Crepes and a French Toast latte (hot). These were perfect. If you're like my wife and done like cinnamon or Cinnabons do NOT get the Cinnabon crepe. My wife had the Lucky Charms latte (cold) and the green tacos. She loved both of them.
