I told Sam Urso about it and he said it wasn't a problem and that his team can temporarily store the condenser while we get our front leveled out (3 days of work). So by the time I was ready to get work done on my front porch, my wife called Urso to get in touch with Sam. He was super rude and had no idea what we were talking about. We told him that he ensured us that he could do it (during installation), but with a charge (obviously). But he proceeded to say they don't do that which means he blatantly lied to us. He should have just told us this from the beginning so that we would have rearranged our installation schedule. Another incident was May 2025 (3 years after installation), they called me to say that I have a pending invoice for HERS and permit test. The payment part wasn't a big deal, but I have a problem with the fact that they told me 3 years later. I thought this was very unprofessional and had to remove 2 stars from my original rating. They were super nice at the beginning to get your business, but once they already got your business, it seems like they could care less about professionalism.

Five or ten minutes after reaching out to Advantage Air on Yelp, a staff member from the company (Brenda) contacted me to follow-up and schedule an appointment. She was amazing! On the day of our appointment, the technician arrived on time. In fact, Brenda contacted me beforehand to advise that he was running ahead of schedule so he could be at our home 30 minutes earlier if we were available. We were ready for him so it worked out fine. The repair technician (Joe) arrived and introduced himself. Initially, I had a question about a message displayed on our thermostat, what it meant and if it had anything to do with our AC unit not operating. His response was perfect. He explained everything in Layman's Terms and I appreciated that very much. After inspecting our AC/Heating Unit, Joe determined there were three parts that required replacement; the contactor; the capacitor; and hard start kit. He had some of the parts with him but had to leave to retrieve other parts off-site. He left but promptly returned in about 20-30 minutes, installed the parts and tested everything. Our AC unit has been working great since then and we are so pleased that we found and hired Advantage Air to make the repairs on our air conditioning unit. Thank you Brenda and Joe!!!! Best customer service ever!

    DO NOT TRUST -- My Personal Experience…read more In my personal experience, this company has been extremely difficult to deal with. The owner initially came across as a great salesperson, but the work performed did not match what was promised. After my electrician pointed out the poor workmanship and safety hazards, it was recommended that I perform a HERS test. The system failed. Red Apple then removed the system and told me I would receive a full refund, but communication stopped shortly afterward and no refund was provided. I eventually hired an attorney, and Red Apple agreed to reimburse me $25,000 in $3,000 installments, but no payments were ever made. After multiple attempts to collect and several unfulfilled promises to drop off a check, I filed a complaint with the California State Licensing Board (CSLB). They also had difficulty contacting the owner. I then filed a claim against the contractor's bond. About a month later, CSLB was finally able to reach Red Apple, and the owner again agreed to reimburse the $25,000, this time in $1,500 monthly installments. As of today, I have not received any payments. This has been an incredibly frustrating and stressful experience. Based on what I went through, I encourage others to be very cautious and to make sure a HERS test is performed and passes before making final payment.

The service was amazing and Martin was able to clean up massive amount of debris in the vent. He also mentioned that it is a fire hazard if it's clogged which I didn't know. Martin was able to answer all my questions and was very thorough with cleaning the dryer vent. I am very happy with the service and would highly recommend this company.
