I live at the fairways apartments which apparently utilizes the services of this horrible company. On november 15th 2012 my fiancee's grandmother passed away in upstate New York. We traveled to her services and returned the night before thanksgiving. It was a lot of travel and we were both exhausted and grieving. I have multiple sclerosis and have a handicapped placard. My mind was elsewhere and when I parked I forgot to take it from the sun visor and move it to my rearview mirror. Mind you by the time we got home it was almost midnight. The following morning at 7am I went outside to get something from my vehicle to find that it was not there. I called the Derry Police Department who informed me that Recovery Solutions had gone on a towing spree in the early hours of Thanksgiving Morning. I have parked in the same spot for over a year with my placard always on display. When I called the company to ask about my vehicle I was told that it would cost just a touch under $200.00 to get my car back. WOW what a fraud, they towed it 1 mile down the road.... When I explained the situation to the person, that I do have a placard and a disability and that we had just returned from the funeral of a loved one, the jerk on the phone rudely said "we hear this all the time" in a mocking voice as if I was making the situation up. I am disabled and the fee was more than a quarter of my total monthly income, this company has no compassion and they pretty much laugh at your misfortune. I cant believe anyone would use a company like this. No morals, no compassion, no backbone- Just terrible. read more

Extremely rude service damaged our car never came back to fix it promised he would fix it. Most unprofessional most rude towing company I've ever seen in my entire life. Such a mistake me choosing them not only do they overcharge they're completely unprofessional. But all I had the guy ripped off my wheel damage my hubcap and the inner tie rod end. The owner responded to me with only threats and how he was going to make my life hell if i didnt basicly give up. Now we are bringing his business to small claims court because he damaged our driveway damaged our vehicles and they were rude or start to finish even though we were nothing but polite and paid our bill!! read more

These vultures towed my car from the parking lot outside my apartment building at about 4 a.m. I called the police when I woke up at 7 and noticed it was gone, and they informed me that Recovery Solutions had towed it. I called Recovery Solutions and whoever answered (I assume the owner, but I don't know for sure) was extremely rude and unhelpful, but I eventually found out that they did indeed have my car and that it would cost $175 to recover and that they open at 9. When I arrived at 9, I pulled into their parking lot and saw just some dingy, filthy house. I tried going in but there's no real indication where the entrance is, and what entryways there are have random garbage and parts strewn about. There was garbage everywhere, in the building, in the parking lot, in the back lot with all the towed vehicles. I'd expect a certain level of dirtiness in a towing company, but there were just piles of garbage everywhere, and a door missing on the side of the house. I had to call the owner yet again who then informed me that nobody was there, but he'd call a driver to come meet me. He then called me back and said it'd be a 25 minute wait. I waited over 30 minutes and then finally someone came and took my money and opened the gate. Horrible, filthy, rude organization. Don't bother bringing them your business. read more

I wouldn't even give a one star I didn't have to. I don't usually write reviews but I have to for these crooks. I can't begin to tell you how crooked and unprofessional this company is. Daughter hydroplaned off the highway and into a ditch. Charged her $150 to show up with the wrong truck. $150 for a extra person they had with them and because they didn't come with a flatbed they charged another $150 get one and said it was winch labor... $40 for milage, $50 for admins fees and $65 for storage and Because they wouldn't let them pick up the car the day it happened. Because his son was having a baby and wouldn't be there. They work out of their basement.. So unprofessional!! Wouldn't let me go look at the car when I got there. Had to tow it out of there because they kept telling me it was totaled. Stay far away!!! We had no choice because the state police called them... I'd give them NO stars if that was an option. This company SUCKS! They were hired by the apartment complex I live in (The Fairways in Derry, which also SUCKS). On New Years Eve they towed my sister in laws car which was slightly over the line in her parking spot, reason being the parking lot was POORLY plowed and it was next to impossible in the dark to tell where the line was. read more

This company tows for the Fairway Apartments in Derry New Hampshire and evidently feels they have the right to stick tow warning stickers on any car they please, anywhere they please. They stuck a big orange sticker over my daughters mirror on a brand new lease car that was up to date on the inspection and registration. The car had been parking in our apartment lot for three months when they decided to do this. Then when my daughter called to let them know of their mistake and request their assistance in getting the sticker off without damaging the car, the 'owner" of the business said no mistake had been made, he had "pictures" (although he refused to show them to her) then called her rude and hung up. This business is an absolute joke and the Fairways should refuse to allow them on their property. read more

As I came up on my vehicle in the yard I noticed front end damage. The plastic piece was snapped in half and actually fell off when I touched it. There was also several scratches and marks both on the front and back end. When we brought this to the office persons attention his first response was that there couldn't be anything wrong. He had no idea how to handle or deal with unhappy customers. We were obviously upset (as anyone would be) and the guy being extremely rude and telling us to just leave. Which I explained we couldn't since my truck was so dead my keyless entry didn't even work. Between my bf and the office guy I had to step in to get them both to calm down so that we could get this resolved. He called the tow guy and asked if he damged it, his answer was No, Shocking! He also made a comment that even if it did happen that they have insurance snd can take care of it. The way it was said and tone just didn't sit right with me. Anyway after a few we were asked to go outside, in the freezing rain, because he needed to pull our file and no one was allowed to be inside when he went to get it. After about 15 minutes and jumping my car he came outside. Basically brushing off the broken front piece like who cares it's like $100 to fix and then telling me since my vehicle wasn't brand new there's going to be marks on it. I was so disappointed with the "customer service" .. who says to customers to go ahead and report them because it's not like it would even matter? Overall I was extremely disappointed, I expected my vehicle to not be damaged but most of all to be treated with respect. read more

Anyone who gives this place a good review is either high or stupid. Or both. This is the Grimiest, Shadiest place I've ever been to. If they tow your car they will overcharge you when you try and get it back. They will bump up the price for no reason. They will tell you It's 300 to get it back then all of a sudden it's 400 less than 20 minutes later. Gross humans with an even grosser sense of compassion for people who shouldn't have to be there in the first place. Ironic I just read the owner had some law enforcement back round. Maybe that can explain some ties with the local P***** Department as well as Local businesses such as apartment complexes ( Fairways ). These guys make a killing. And I'm sure less than half of it is " Legal " every dog has its day. I'd say these guys should be careful... Oh and I almost forgot. Don't forget they ONLY accept cash!
