All asking for "diagnostic fees" and have various upsells and fees depending if it had this or that, iRescue was the first spot they seemed so casual.. over the phone he asked for us to just swing by and within 15min he'll know if he can fix it or not. No sales tactics and nothing merely than just a conversation. He told me the price for a screen replacement since he believed (phone unseen at this point) that would most likely be the issue. We ended up waiting a day, then going with iRescue. They ended up replacing the screen and calling us that it's ready for pickup. Although it's not an OEM screen, this merely buys us time until the "latest and greatest" phone is released.

Ken replaced the glass with a black boarder as requested. Then he broke his last black boarder by the power button, I of course agreed to pay his original asking price $95.00 for a white boarder piece of glass. When I got home 117 miles away I discovered the wifi was not being picked up though out the house as it always had before. I needed to be right next to the router. I called Ken and he said the antenna is very delicate and is located next to the power button. He guessed he broke it when he broke the last black border glass in his inventory, hanging me with white and nearly no wifi ability. Rendering my iPad worthless as I use wifi all day at work. I took the iPad to iRepair on Spr Mtn in Las Vegas. They charged $64.00 to take Ken's white boarder glass off and replace the antennae. I texted a copy of the receipt to Ken and he broke off all contact. No refund. No response.

Took my Iphone 14 Pro MAX for screen replacement (Oct 2024) and prior to pick up, he wants to get…read moremy personal pin to unlock my phone (redflag#1) and test it - which i promptly refused due to privacy concerns and common sense. During pickup, I unlocked my phone for him and he did nothing. I inspected the phone and find no issues. After having the phone for a few hours, I noticed that were some ghost touching when the phone is being charged wirelessly. At first he refused to acknowledge the issue and blamed the charger. After a couple of visits of him trying different stuff, he agreed to try a different screen. He said he will call me when he got the replacement screen but never did. Calls and texts were not returned. After 3 months he finally got the screen and got it replaced. The new screen did not have the ghost touching but it did have a dead pixel in the center of the screen. He said he would give me another replacement screen but never did. Its June 2025 and I give up - I learned how to live with the dead pixel in my screen. Some excuses he gives: Oct 15, 2024: Emergency - Cancels our appointment and ghosts me. No response for 1 month Nov 15, 2024: He said that he thought my wife stopped by his shop and got it fixed. (What? How?) Jan 29, 2025: Its my fault because I did not give him my pin code.
