Unfortunately, this review mainly reflects on "the boss", whom is an older woman with a bad attitude, truly with no exaggerations.
Went in to potentially have an iPhone screen replaced - after speaking with employee, Kelly, he actually tried a different approach. Thankfully, he was able to help me fairly quickly and with a good attitude. (Although my problem isn't fixed, he tried).
The "boss" (whom honestly should NOT claim she is a boss due to her lack of customer service skills and comments that should be spoken to employees privately, because thats how GOOD bosses approach situations, respectfully to their employees.)
Anyways, as soon as she walked out from the back room she had an attitude about who was next in line. Myself and the other customer nicely pointed at each other unsure of who was really next and her comment of "well who is really next?!" with an attitude, I felt was unnecessary especially being that neither myself nor the other customer had ANY attitude towards her.
As the employee was helping me, I had knelt down and her next comment was "who is this girl??" (after she was done with her transaction). The employee responded and said "a customer", briefly explained what was going on and she rudely continued to look at myself and the employee. Almost as if she didn't have confidence that the employee was capable of doing his job, she needed to get more involved.
After about 5-8 mins, she walked over to where we were standing and said "we do not do this", meaning the employee made an error and she was correcting him. I did not acknowledge her, because she was not helping nor speaking to me and she repeated herself. I looked at her directly and said "I heard you the first time, you do not need to continue". She did not like that. She proceeded to raise her voice to me and continued to speak to me like she was reprimanding me. (Even though she had already said what she needed to to the employee and we were actually finishing the transaction as she was standing there). I said that I didn't have to acknowledged her and once I received my belongings (which was already happening) I would leave. At that time I did have an attitude towards her and I felt remorseful for the employee that was being reprimanded in the store front. I asked if she was the boss and she said yes I am and I said that it was sad. I apologized to the employee for helping me and for the problems she had began to create. She continued to tell me loudly to get out of her store and I told her I would not leave until I got my phone back. She didn't like that. I told her that if she felt the need she was more than welcome to call the police and I gave her my first and last name. That upset her more. I did tell her to call someone who cared and to shut up because her input about the whole process was not good enough and she did not like that I was not allowing her to speak to me in such a manner without stating my opinion. As she further continued to yell to leave her store, I would not move as there really was no need - I mean honestly she made her point from the start which was fine but I did not feel the need to stand outside and wait for my device when she just wanted to enforce her "authority".
Finally another employee (whom was wearing a different shirt than the employee I was dealing with, so I assume he was a manager or something as such) decided to try to calm the situation as "the boss" and myself were going back and forth. I did also tell her to shut the f*** up because she truly was continuing to speak trash (seriously just mimicking me trying to get my bothered) because the process wasn't going fast enough for her. She stood next to the employee and myself the WHOLE time thinking I was going to be intimidated. She felt the need to tell me I was "a nobody".... lol (like I was claiming I was someone, NOT!)
This is supposedly a new business that replaces screens and such and although I was told to never come back to their store, I have no problem providing NO business to a store with very bad customer service all around. I am personally an Office Manager for a very reputable local shop and would never expect a "boss" to act the way she did.
The employee Kelly was VERY helpful and nice right from the start, he couldn't help me much as I have a shattered phone but he did what he could and I am thankful for his effort of trying. (BECAUSE THAT IS HOW BUSINESS' GET BUSINESS BTW - EFFORT. Something business' have issues finding in employees in this town.
My apologies, Kelly for causing you trouble - and whomever put that "woman" in any type of position should be ashamed. :) read more
