Seems like there is a lot of misinformation about their recon hours. The most recent updated hours are Monday through Friday 8:00am-10:30am and 12:00pm-3:15pm. Closed on state holidays & only walk-ins now. Went around 2pm and I was the only one there. The dude came out of the portable and asked me to pop my hood & roll up my windows to check my tint. Make sure to have your license, registration, exact cash $15, and alignment papers within 30 days. They'll ask you to fill out a form regarding your info and about your modifications (suspension, exhaust, steering, etc). The entire inspection took less than 15 minutes. Overall, dude was really friendly, process was quick, and explained the reasons why I did not pass recon and how it can be fixed.

Lot of Aloha! Friendly service and quick actions! When I arrived around 12:15 pm there were 5-vehicles in front of me, but I noticed the inspector walking directly towards me. I was greeted by a gentleman who questioned me about what I wanted service for? Simple informed him I needed a recon for dropping my vehicle. Anything else? My air intake and exhaust system. He requested for my alignment paperwork (make sure you have your alignment in the green and serviced within 30-days) and he thoroughly inspected my car. Long story short, I was outta there within minutes! BTW you'll need to pay $15. All the other vehicles were gone as well! Yes I am going to give them 5-Stars! Aloha and congratulations! Keep up the good work!

I bought two tires from here for my Mercedes a few months ago, and honestly, they're some of the…read morebest tires I've ever purchased. I've tried saving money by going to Discount Tire and other cheaper places, but within a month or two, I'd end up running over something and getting an instant puncture. These two tires have been a completely different experience. They're extremely strong and durable, seriously, they feel like hammer status! They're a little more expensive upfront, but the quality is absolutely worth it because they're built to last and don't feel nearly as fragile as the cheaper tires I've purchased elsewhere. If you're tired of constantly replacing cheap tires and you're ready to actually invest in a quality set that can last, I highly recommend getting your tires from here. Sometimes spending a little more upfront saves you a lot more money and headaches in the long run!

Did my lift here years ago, also this event happened years ago. (review is very late, but started…read morethinking as I saw ads for them on Facebook regularly, people need to be aware of their practice) apparently they didn't tighten the steering knuckle lower 2 bolts on my Tacoma, clearly before I left I saw a thread sticking out on the lower control arm bolts, didn't say anything as I'd thought they'd honor their work, and thought they possibly even messed up the threads on that bolt that was loose which is why it didn't go all the way in, (as a mechanic I'm not going to touch something I'm afraid will break which would turn to my fault, liability is pretty important in the automotive service industry) they reassured me before I left that everything was perfect even though the skid plate wasn't installed as well until I said something, then within less than 6000 miles down the road and within less than a 6 month period, lower control arm came loose and went straight to the floor, took it back to them with a tow truck and they charged me for the labor to replace a lifetime warranty part from rough country as well as a CV axle that got damage due to collateral damage from the bolt coming loose. Clearly they didn't tighten the bolt with their response as "we loctite everything" well loctite only goes a long way when the bolt is torqued with a torqued wrench. A real shop would've comp everything and own up to their mistake and repair it for free due to technician negligence. But that didn't happen, rather just down another couple hundred dollars, around $800-1,000 to fix their mistake. But I mean the lifetime part was free which was great, one company at least honored something. Never coming back here again, neither will ever be involved with this shop ever again. Still have my receipt and can easily warranty stuff yourself on rough country website. Wasn't going to argue with these guys in person as they're pretty intimidated and aggressive when you put them on the spot. So it's easier to result in online reviews and let people know their practice as they're also firm with whatever they say with no room for talk or solution unless I'm guessing legal action is taken or a harsh review is made. They honestly just hungry for money, made the victim an even bigger one.

This review is regarding the experience I had with Neue Auto last week, when I brought in my car to…read moreget the key warning light checked out. The key warning light had come on in my dashboard a little over a week ago and has stayed on ever since. After doing some initial research on the internet about what it could be, I began to get concerned that it could potentially be a safety issue later on. All the worrying prompted me to send an inquiry out via Yelp, and Neue Auto was the first to respond, saying they're able to take a look at it. They were up front with their diagnostic fee and had an appointment time available the following morning. I brought the car in the next day, and Alvin (their service advisor) checked me in. I explained what was going, and he said they would run the diagnostics and see if they can figure out what the root cause might be. They offered a courtesy one-way Uber ride to get to where I needed to go, so I didn't have to wait at the shop, which was very much appreciated. After the shop ran all the tests, the results came back inconclusive (i.e., test findings indicated no error codes that could be causing the key warning light to turn on). Alvin took the care and time to explain everything they did, in great detail. Alvin was very transparent and provided his professional inputs regarding the situation. He recommended to just keep monitoring the situation, since no error codes were showing, which were related to the key warning light. He said, at this time it's too early to say what exactly is going on, as other symptoms would need to present themselves in order to figure out a precise fix -- and this is regardless of whether it is getting serviced at Neue Auto or some place else. Given that they couldn't find anything wrong, they waived my diagnostic fee, for which I'm extremely grateful. Even though the diagnostic findings didn't reveal anything, I am appreciative for the time and efforts that Neue Auto put in to investigate the issue. At least I have a little more peace of mind now, knowing the vehicle is still safe to operate (even with the key warning light on) and that it won't suddenly die out on me while I am driving it. Thankful for the reassurances that Alvin gave me regarding my concerns. Mahalo again to the team at Neue Auto for their help and in-depth assessment! Pros: complimentary one-way Uber ride, honest and informative feedback Cons: only open Mon-Fri, and the shop location is tricky (i.e., tucked in at the end of a narrow alleyway, so coming and going might be challenging, especially when it's busy and full of cars, as the tight thoroughfare is shared with a couple of other auto shops)

Neue Auto is a rip off and I'm still so pissed off about this that I finally decided to post it…read more This incident actually occurred in 2023 when I had a Kia Forte, which I no longer have because the repairs that they charged me over $800 for were not effective. On top of that, they would not let me take my car home that Friday (because I worked weekends) or they were gonna charge me an additional $150 to RE-assess my vehicle AGAIN that Monday. So in addition to the $847.80 that they charged me I had to rent a car which costed me an additional hundred something dollars. My car kept dying as I was driving, and I had previously had a AAA read out that said that my alternator was fine. Neue Auto insisted that it was the alternator and the serpentine belt that needed to be replaced and guaranteed their work. I authorized them to do the work because they insisted they were the professionals, but this did not fix the problem. I attempted to remedy this with the manager and instead of doing things in writing so I could have documentation he insisted on calling and trying to smooth talk his way out of the promises that his business made. Needless to say I had to replace the vehicle. The reason that I am saying that they're a rip off, is not only because the vehicle was still presenting the same problems, but also because this is what they sent me as "proof" that my alternator was not working. Please keep in mind they never actually gave me this receipt for the readout, and it's stapled to a bunch of other receipts that I have no idea what they are. To sum it up, avoid Neue A uto or risk unethical business practices that don't actually fix your vehicle but still take your money. I would've given them zero stars, but that's not possible. *** EDITED TO RESPOND ** Fast forward to now - Like I said, I'm still so pissed off that YOU - Nick, owner/manager promised that the alternator and serpentine belt would fix my vehicle and it didn't. And instead of fixing the problem, you talked around in circles acting like your business doesn't have any obligation to actually stand behind its work. And I am certainly NOT contacting you again because you're a creep who thinks that you can get away with unethical shady business practices because you are the "professional." I stand by my statements and recommended people stay far away from your business. Not because you rip EVERYONE off - but because you rip off at least some of us. And that's enough for me to let others know they could be next.
