The menu is focused with around 8 standard fares and an additional 'special' menu selection of around 5 additional items. The way to order is by selecting from the standard menu a choice of 3 courses, 5 courses, or 7 courses, and one can choose to order additional items from the special menu or to sub one of the courses from the standard. Prices are set per person per course selection, with surcharge for certain items. Pretty straight forward. In addition to the ordered meal, the chef offers a-muse bouche (little bites) of various complimentary dishes, including dessert for the guests so even with three courses, you would have tried so many other things. And even the simple potato bread with creamy butter is to die for. It was also a treat that we were offered to see the kitchen and got to meet the chef at the end of the meal! As we stayed at the Atlantis hotel where ECCO is located, we were even more pleasantly surprised by the chocolate truffles and chef's hand written note left in our room.
