Took me 9 months to get my laptop back...I initially took it in to get repaired in August of last year. At first, they misdiagnosed the issue (motherboard connector ribbon) and tried to install a new SSD, to no avail. They promised to order and install the needed ribbon when it was in stock. I asked for an update in December, and was told that it would take a month or two. Nearly 5 months passed. Finally, I called again last week and was told that they miraculously had the part and would promptly install it. Unsurprisingly, this didn't happen. I went in to retrieve my laptop, only to find that three keys were missing, apparently due to an employee they had recently fired. A refund in this situation is not adequate. I would have preferred honesty on their part instead of having to wait almost a full year before receiving a still-broken laptop. read more

Exceptional service. My laptop had the black screen of death and I was concerned that I had lost all of my data. The folks at Reboot spent hours and multiple tools trying to identify the problem. Although I was ready to give up, they persevered. They found the root cause of the problem, they were able to restart my laptop, and they saved all of my data. So incredibly pleased with this place. My flash drive got bent and my computer wouldn't recognize it. Best Buy told me there was nothing they could do and I was out of luck. Brought it to Reboot and they fixed the issue and it only cost me $20. I was on cloud nine!! read more

Had a little stick stuck in the charging port in my phone, he wanted to charge 10 dollars just to pick it out. I've never had a phone place charge when ive done this in the past, its literally a 10 second job using the tool I know he has. Won't be bringing any of my electronics in here read more

My experience with Reboot has been by far the worst experience I've ever had with any company ever. It is now four months since I initially went into the shop, and my computer has still not been fixed. My computer screen had been glitching out every time I opened it. If I shifted the tilt a little bit, it would either black out, or get black lines across the screen. I brought my computer into the shop, and opened it up and showed them the situation. They looked at it and determined that it was probably the cable running from the computer to the screen. They told me I had two options: leave the computer at the shop and then pay when I picked it up, or pay in advance, wait until the part was delivered, and then bring it in and they would fix it. I offered to pay in advance, giving them $140. This was in early January. I waited through January and did some traveling at the start February. I still hadn't heard anything from them. After I got back from traveling, I wrote an email and received no response. I tried calling several times, but at the time they did not have an answering system on the phone and were not picking up. I ended up going into the shop. After looking in my situation on their computer system, they saw that I had paid in advance, and told me that that wasn't even their policy. The employee who had taken my money was no longer with the company and they had no idea why he had taken payment. Also, they said that the part had arrived a while ago. However, they never bothered to contact me that the part was in. They told me that they needed my model number to verify that it was the correct part. I went home to look at the computer and left a voicemail giving my model number. I then waited several days without hearing from them. I eventually called them back and they said they hadn't taken any action because they didn't have the model number. I told him I'd left a message, but they said they never got it. Brought the laptop down there, didn't hear from them for a couple days and then went in to get the laptop. They told me that it wasn't the cable that needed to be replaced but the whole LCD screen. They also said that a proper diagnostic should've been done the first time I brought the laptop in. The person I was dealing with said he wanted to "make it right" and said they would refund my money and pay for the parts necessary to fix my computer. He also said he would personally make sure that the issue would be dealt with properly. They ordered the screen and said they would let me know when it arrived. A month later, and I still hadn't heard back from them. It was about lunch on a Friday when I called them and they said that the part was sitting around there somewhere. I went in and they ended up writing me a business check for my refund because they had waited so long to refund my money that they said they could no longer do it straight to my credit card that I had paid with. I left my computer with them. (Fortunately, I have a backup laptop. Unfortunately, it is seven years old.) Near the end of the business day the following Tuesday, I called them up to see what the situation was. At this point in time, I was told that their technicians had not been able to replicate the problem. (I had shown the problem to them on three separate visits to the shop.) That is, they had the computer for three business days, and had not even contacted me to say that they hadn't done anything. I told the person on the phone that I had shown them the problem several times, and offered to come down to the store to show them again. He then asked me if I could tell him again what the problem was. Note that by this time I had been to the store numerous times, shown them the problem numerous times, and I'd been dealing with them for four months. I told him that the screen barely functions. It is generally black without a picture at almost every tilt angle. He said that he wasn't going to take his technicians word for it and would look into the issue himself. This was a little over an hour before close, and he did not get back to me before their closing. On Friday, I called them (again) and they said they didn't have the right part and needed to order it. I finally got my computer back the following week. Throughout dealing with them over the course of more than four months, they never contacted me, except for a final call when it was finally done. The first two times that they ordered parts, I waited for a while, and when I finally got in touch with them, I was told that the parts had been there for a while. They took prepayment but did not do any work and did not refund my money until four months later. I was told by an individual who I believe is the owner that he would personally see to my situation and make sure that I was taken care of and that things were dealt with promptly, and that was not done either. Ultimately, my computer was fixed for free, but the process up to that point was ridiculous. read more

took my laptop to get fixed , long story short it took 8 business days, no calls to inform me of what was going on and i didn't receive a discount or an apology for taking so long, i only got an excuse. so i paid $79 for a service that i could have got at best buy in 2 business days. plus when i was paying my bill i was asking questions about the long wait but was brushed off and answered short and incomplete because of customers behind me. so he dismissed my questions with sounds like , uh huh, yup, and have a good day. and the reviews on here are so old make you wonder if the previous reviews were done buy coworkers friends or family, very bias i would say , don't you think? read more
