Yes, the lines were long--both for gas and especially for the bathroom--but the cashiers were working fast and keeping things moving. Thank goodness for Apple Pay because checkout was quick and easy. They have some cute stuff in here. Metal signs, clothes, wristlets, etc. I ended up buying a Wizard of Oz metal sign, it was reasonably priced & I'm a big fan of WOO & have been for many years so I had to get this to add to my collection. I saw a cute Patriots wristlet but the price was crazy $$$ so I didn't buy it. I decided to use the bathroom too while here & OMG the toilet was nasty. Had a dirty ring in the bowl but what was funny is there were toilet brushes down on the floor right next to the toilet. Makes ya wonder why they don't use them & clean the bowl??? I was in & out of that bathroom real quick, they were old & run down...yuck! The guy working the counter was really nice. I had asked if they had a Chevron gift card & he thought I was asking for a credit card & showed me a flyer. There was another guy in one of the aisles stocking stuff & he said "hi" as I walked by. I was looking to buy a soda water. I checked their soda fountain machine as most places have a side carbonated button but their's didn't. It was very small with only a couple Pepsi products on the machine. I had trouble finding a bottle/can of soda water in their cooler & finally located two different brands but they were both plain & I decided to opt out of buying one and drink my water in the car. At Jean, NV, I saw a Chevron gas station so I exited. OMG, it's a humongous gas station with 96 gas pumps... yes, kid you not, 96 big ones! I was surprised to see a similar Buc-ee's. Anyone who has been to Texas may have been to a Buc-ee's. Anyway, this Chevron is not exactly the same as Buc-ee's, but it's close. It's very bright and clean. Prices are a bit higher here IMHO. Terrible's Road House (TRH) is the huge convenience store plus a whole lot more that is linked to this Chevron (this is a must stop and visit!) I pumped my gas, paid at the pump, and walked into TRH to use the restroom. So glad I did. I will do a separate review for TRH. Stay tuned!
