This is NOT a "terrible" place! Especially for a safe/late-night gas and bathroom stop!!

Stopped on my way home from dropping the kid off at BYU-I for school. Long/quiet drive, and I saw I needed some gas at midnight. Bathroom break wouldn't be bad either!! The older man working inside couldn't have been nicer!!!! He gave me a free refill soda - I think he thought I was looking tired - but I was actually WIDE AWAKE! I was really just chill and listening to podcasts unmolested in a quiet car. Ha ha. Then, after a bathroom break I went to leave...and almost drove off without pumping the gas! That's how excited I was to get home to my sweet wife I guess? Just loved the whole experience. The pumps were well-lit and inside there's EVERYTHING you could want to buy for the road - along with extra trinkets for fun!!

Very clean gas station! Everything was tidy and nicely stocked The guy cashier was friendly and doing his best managing the place on his own. Much better gas station than the seedier ones down the road.

Powerball 411 The first place on the right side of 93 selling Powerball tix coming from Vegas into Arizona is this gas station now. It's fairly new. Used to be just Rosie's Den that you saw when you come up here first. It's right next to Rosie's Den which also sells Powerball tix. This location has plenty of parking for cars. RVs and buses can park in the adjacent dirt lot as well. There is one clerk dedicated to selling tix for now, the other cashier priority goes to store merchandise related and gas customers then Lotto ticket customers. They are friendly, patient and helpful here. The line for Powerball tix during the time we went snaked around the inside the store to just outside the back of the building. Average wait time was 2.5 hours.. That also went for Rosie's Den too. Rather come here though only because it's freaking cold by the time the sun went down. They can fit more people inside where it's warmer vs Rosie's you'll be standing out in the cold majority of the time. You can buy hot chocolate to warm you up here too. Restrooms are clean. NOTE: Machines go offline at midnight and resume at 4am.. so no tix can be sold at this hour. ALSO keep in mind that even though Arizona is in Pacific Time Zone they are exempt from DST. So currently they are ONE HOUR AHEAD. Travel time from Boulder City took us 20 minutes. (assuming you drive 10 miles over the speed limit). Gas prices though... 1.16 more than Henderson! What's up with that? Drawing Wednesday night! Good luck!

The convenience store. Didn't take pics of the gas pumps.

Don't buy the overpriced gas. There are more options down the road. We paid $4.49 when the next place down was about $2.90.

Stopped on the way to the Grand Canyon. It has great bathrooms, drink and snack selection and also a ton of Lotto tickets.

One of the tourist buses that makes its way to and from the Grand Canyon had disgorged its passengers into the station, making it pretty hectic and crowded.

Veteran's Road Service really came through for me and my new (to me) whip. I wish I could give them…read more100 stars! This is going to be a detailed and lengthy review. I recently purchased an expensive high performance vehicle. The first night I took my new whip out, I got a flat tire. I immediately parked my vehicle at the nearest gas station to inspect the damage to my tire. This was around 2300 hours, late at night. I found Veterans Road Service during a Google search. I called Veterans Road Service and explained my situation to Ander, the owner of the company. Ander gave me an estimated time of arrival and was at my location within the ETA he gave me. Ander removed the tire, inspected it, and decided he had to take it to a 24 hour tire shop to get it fixed safely. I told Ander okay, and I waited for him to return. Approximately 30 minutes later, I received a call from Ander with some bad news. Ander had taken my tire to three different 24 hour tire shops, who all refused to patch my tire up due to safety and liability reasons. The tire shops saw the slit in my tire and didn't even bother to further inspect the damage before deciding it was unfixable. I told Ander I had an appointment to get my vehicle inspected by a certified mechanic the following day. It was incredibly important for me to make it to that appointment because I was only given a five day return window by the dealership I purchased my vehicle at. I did not want to keep my new whip if it was not found to be in excellent condition during the vehicle inspection. So there I was, concerned I would have to call a tow truck and possibly miss my vehicle inspection appointment. Ander returned to my location shortly after. He was aware of my situation and told me he had an idea to save me from waiting several hours on a Friday night for a tow truck to arrive. Plus, tow trucks are expensive! Ander again inspected the damage to my tire and removed a blade that was embedded in it. He dug a little deeper and concluded that he could apply a plug to the damaged area which would allow me to drive home safely. He assured me the plug would last long enough to get me home, and it could possibly last even longer. I gave Ander the okay and I watched as he applied the plug to the damaged area caused by the embedded blade. Ander double checked his work and made sure there was no leaking air before mounting the tire back onto my vehicle. Once the tire was securely mounted and my car was off the jack, Ander again checked his work to make sure there was no leaking air. Ander assured me he was confident his work would last long enough to get me home safely. He advised me to drive home at a reasonable speed and wished me luck with my new business that I told him about. I also found out through our conversation that Ander was a military veteran and had served our country and his community for years. I thanked Ander for his work, paid for the service, drove my car home, and arrived safely. The following morning, I inspected my tire and found that Ander's work had in fact held up. I was able to make it to my inspection appointment, and my vehicle passed the inspection with flying colors. I was ecstatic! Ander messaged me that day to check up on me and make sure the work he performed on my tire lasted me through the night. Now that's customer service! Ander's work even held up an extra two days until the dealership could order a new tire and replace my damaged one. Ander's level of service is hard to come by, especially in the Roadside Service industry. He was able to make a shitty situation not so shitty for me, and I am confident enough to recommend his service to anyone I know. You can be assured that if you are ever in need of roadside assistance, Veterans Road Service will do the best they can to service your needs and make sure you get home safely. Thank you again Ander and Veterans Road Service! God bless...
