Hope you like roosters and John Deer! It's a family affair here. I have seen this place packed. During deer season, I suggest you make friends and fill the tables. The staff can crank out the orders, plates, and hot coffee faster than you realize. I've seen it packed and they keep up. My coffee cup has never hit empty. They watch their customers and they usually know what you need before you do. The food is big. If you leave hungry, you're either not putting the fork with food on it in your mouth or you're Michael Phelps and need 6000 calories a meal. Bacon how you want it, eggs are on the griddle and the Hashman is my favorite. Seems weird but it will fatten you right up! Take dessert home. Get the burger for lunch. Eat and be happy. I have a soft spot for this place because it is a staple in my community. They work hard and they are very welcoming. They know YOU are what keeps their small business going so for other reviews that were not so nice - what? If you have the courtesy to tell them what you need, they will answer it. Also, if you're that sensitive, you shouldn't eat out. That makes a table for me :).

A simple square truck painted a bright yellow and red, it's hard to miss. The menu is posted on the side, written out on a white board. They put just about everything on their hot dogs and the names are "dog" related. The "Greyhound" has chili and cheese. The "Great Dane" has cheese, barbecue sauce and fried onion straws. I opted for the "K9" and it was absurd. Jalapeno sriracha cream cheese, jalapenos, bacon, pepper jack cheese and spicy mayo. It was loaded! Yes, the premium hot dogs are $10 but you're getting a hugely piled on hot dog with a big pile of nacho chips and a pot of spicy pimento cheese. This is not a small meal by any measure. Two of these would be too much for me and I eat big portions! Service was friendly and you can't beat the name. Try out Doggy Style! [Review 645 of 2024 - 337 in Missouri - 21676 overall]

The lunch buffet during the week features their staple fried chicken and at least one other entree each day, M-F, and a Saturday breakfast buffet. All of the deserts and baked goods are done in-house and are fresh. My personal favorite menu items I recommend are the fried catfish, the chicken fried steak (hand done, not food service purchased) and the chicken fried meatloaf. The latter I have never found elsewhere before and it is excellent. Service is extremely friendly and accommodating - even if a bit slow at the busiest times. The space is clean with both tables & booths available for seating. Don't be in a big hurry, as each order is freshly prepared....and well worth the short wait.

The owners are seasoned restaurant/bar owners with other bars in the area. This spot has an excellent selection of beer on tap that rotates frequently. If you like trying lots of variety of beer, this is the place for you. The atmosphere is unique to the area and exactly what I'm looking for. Outdoor seating is nice when the sun is in the right location. They have a garage door that opens up to the rest of the place. You can't miss it and will be glad you didn't. You would be shocked by the appetizers and food options they have! Very artisan. Unique and delicious flavor combinations.
