And besides, I prefer a barber to a Fantastic Sam's type stylist. When I walked in about 4:00p, I noticed 8 barber chairs, but unfortunately only one barber. There were three people ahead of me, but I decided to wait. The wait was reasonable however, so I'm glad I stayed. The lady that cut my hair was very quiet and really didn't have much to say. She did however follow my instructions and gave me an excellent cut. There are short cuts that last longer and those that look perfect out the door. That was the case here. Maybe I'm too old school, but 30 bucks seems like a lot for a short haircut. That would be my only reservation here. A Haircut plus gratuity and you're pushing $40.00. Still, I got a great haircut. I will definitely try them again. Maybe they will be my new barber shop go-to.

I've been coming to this barbershop regularly, especially on Wednesdays because of their $30…read moreWednesday special. Today, my usual barber was busy, so I decided to give another barber a try that I hadn't seen before but was available. After my haircut, I was charged $48 instead of the usual $30 Wednesday price. The extra $18 isn't necessarily the issue. What bothered me was the lack of clarity about the pricing. If the Wednesday special doesn't apply to all barbers, or if certain services cost extra, that should be communicated upfront so customers know what to expect before sitting in the chair. I've been a returning customer, so this experience was disappointing. I believe transparency and consistency with pricing are important, especially when you're advertising a special to bring customers in. Hopefully, management can clarify how the Wednesday promotion works.
