There has only been once in the past 5 years that Dale has said that he couldn't get my vehicle in right away, and that was in 2020 right after the Derecho when Everyone needed their cars repaired. TRUST. How much do you not only trust the people that work on your vehicle, but also trust that they aren't overcharging you for parts and service? I trust Ream Auto Body implicitly! Dale always greets me with a smile, no matter what the reason I'm bringing a vehicle in to him. He not only works on mine and my husband's vehicles, he works on all of our family's vehicles. Yesterday I texted him even before the shop opened because my son's car had died on First Ave and I was having it towed to his shop. He was ready when it arrived and wasted no time in trying to diagnose the problem and then called me to give me all of the information about the problem and how it would be fixed. If you need someone you can TRUST, go to Ream Auto Body! read more

Reliable and honest auto body shop! Top notch customer service! I opened the garage door and scratched the tailgate of my new Lexus. Dale fit me into their very busy schedule shortly after a significant hail storm in the area. My vehicle was ready for pickup in just 3 days. I couldn't be happier with the results. Like it never happened! My rate was incredibly fair, much lower than other quotes. Plus, all of their high quality work comes with a complimentary rose. Highly recommend! read more

I am very impressed with the service I received at Ream Auto body! My repairs where done quickly, my car was washed and they even vacuumed the inside!!! To top it off they gave me a ride to the car rental and picked me up! I will definitely use them again and recommend them to all my friends! read more

I have been patronizing Ream Auto Body for years, and want to share my excellent experiences with Yelp! readers. Ream offers top quality service, works with all major insurance companies and treats their staff and customers with great respect. Even when elective body work was needed, I still go to Ream. I get a loaner vehicle to drive while my 'baby' is getting repaired, and a fresh rose for my wife when I pick up my ride. It's really hard to beat that!! You can bet that I'll be back at Ream again and again. read more

These people are awesome. Wife hit a deer last week and they took care of everything with the insurance company. We also use them for our mechanical services. Always good work and always a pleasure to work with. read more

Outstanding customer experience! I stopped by to have them assess a noise my passenger side door had started to make after it was last serviced (in San Diego), and provide a quote for repair. They quickly determined the issue AND had it fixed, in minutes, and FOR FREE! Since I was there, I had them change my wiper blades as well. Fast, friendly service. And since it was Valentine's Day, I walked out the door with a lovely long-stemmed red rose - nice touch! read more

I was very impressed with their work and service. They even had loaner cars available! My husband broke my car the day before I was set to take a very important career exam. My car was barely able to make it there. They got me in right away. They gave me a loaner car and even made an exception for me to drive it out of town for my exam. They were a life saver! The work came out great, and you'd never know it was ever broken. read more

Sooner (and shinier!!) than expected!! We are so happy we chose Ream to complete body work on our 2009 Toyota. The paint work is flawless...not even so much as a buff swirl to be found...and it was returned to us gleaming inside and out. They completed the job a day earlier than quoted and were $600 less than the other shop we got an estimate from. Our 9-year-old car looks brand new after their TLC, and we couldn't be more pleased! read more

This place was amazing!! The damage to my car is absolutely invisible. Then, when I got into my car I found it cleaner than when I dropped it off!! Prices are completely reasonable and they meet their commitments in price and schedule! Marty was the service guy I worked with, he is super awesome. I will SO go back here again if I have body work needs on a car. read more

The work they did was great and looks seamless. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to get our main family vehicle back to us quickly. I appreciated the unexpected detailing almost as much as the repair! Three kids can make a mess. read more

This place was great. The friendliest staff, and great work. Had a small wreck where I needed my door replaced. I got my car back in better shape than before the wreck. Not only did they fix the door, but detailed a car I have had for 10 years and never washed. It felt like a new car. Thanks Mary and the staff at ream read more

First of all, this is not a review reaming ream, so to speak. At the end of the day, their work was flawless and I couldn't even tell I had been in an accident. But my only issue with them is how long they took. So I got in an accident July 2nd. They told me the estimated time it would take for my car to be done was 5-7 days...I got my car back yesterday, 7/23 (3 weeks). Now, if you're a high schooler with no responsibilities (unless you have a job;good for you), there is no problem. But I just graduated college and had to sacrifice a couple of days of my internship because I was left with no ride. This happened on three separate occasions. The last week they worked on the car, they told me "it would be ready tomorrow" for three days straight starting that Monday. Finally Thursday comes and I can actually get my car back. Like I said before, the job they did was amazing, but it should not take that long. It was probably worse for me because I only have liability insurance, in which case they don't lend out loaners. They only do for full insurance. In the end, I would definitely recommend Ream but just make sure they are not busy at the time or you're looking at a long time without a car. 3/5 because of length of time. Otherwise 5 star read more

We worked with Marty at Ream and he was so excellent in working with my insurance company after my accident. He kept me updated and informed on how the repairs were going and really knew how to talk to the insurance company to ensure all the necessary repairs were covered! They even have loaner cars available for $1 which was a HUGE help while my vehicle was being repaired. They did excellent work in an efficient manner. I highly recommend Ream and have told all my friends to sget their work done there!! read more

I have an old Honda that is only insured for liability that lost its bumper and casing. I went to three auto repair places in the Cedar Rapids area (one on Center Point that has initials B.M. and one on Boyson that sounds like magic spell) before Ream, and heard everything under the sun: that it was not able to be repaired due to structural integrity, that to fix it "would cost thousands," etc. Then I went to Ream. Instead of brushing me off in the parking lot, Scott shook my hand, told me to come into his office and have a seat. He took the time to call the local salvage shop and find out if any used bumpers were available. The price quote was good, the service was fast, and when I went to pick it up, I was surprised to find out they'd fixed a long-standing problem with the trunk to boot at no extra charge. The work was superb - the car looks like it had never been damaged. The people at Ream are professional, yet friendly, and they follow up on their work to make sure you are satisfied. If you have a body problem, I can save you time and money by telling you first hand to START with Ream . read more
