I've had several experiences with ATS through AAA for towing services and they've always been prompt, professional and taken great care. Recently, I was looking to get a 4 wheel alignment for my BMW. Rather than taking the job, they were honest and referred me to a couple of European shops that specialize in alignments for euro cars. Even though they did not do the work, they've earned my business the next time I have non bmw work. Amazing customer service and road side assistance.

I had car trouble on the way home (Minneapolis) from Christmas vacation (West Plains, MO) on 27 Dec 2013. I had AAA tow me to ATS Automotive in Cedar Rapids because they were open until 6pm on Fridays. I got there about 5:15pm, and ASE certified technician Andrew Saxon stayed late to figure out what was wrong with my truck. Even though they are normally closed on Saturdays, Andrew came in on Saturday morning to get me on the road again. I was guessing my bill would be $360, and it turned out to be only $205. One of their fine team offered and drove us to the airport where we could rent a vehicle to continue our trip. In a business where there can definitely be "shadiness", ATS automotive repair is as honest and fair as they could possibly be. They helped a college student, who had a thin budget and an old car. Though the car ended up being "terminal" and will soon need to go to the junk yard, the mechanic was forthright about everything, and did just enough repairs to keep her eeking out some final time with her car. They could have nickeled and dimed her for a long time, but instead, she was treated kindly and respectfully. Such service! We wish ATS Automotive much continued success.
