Too expensive. $50 more than a local competitor. Not willing to offer 'cash' price. I used them once when I was in a time jam, but when I needed another tow, and had some time to shop around, they were more expensive than all the others. $178 for a tow less than a mile. read more

These guys are great!! They arrived within 10-15 minutes. Called before hand to let us know they would be there soon and then just took things over so efficiently. We were 300+ miles from home in a strange town and they swooped in like angels. They had to haul out Ford Explorer and our Stealth Motorcycle Trailer to a Ford Dealership. Our 1966 car suddenlly stopped running in the middle of the street at 9:00 at night. The flat bed was there very quickly. The driver was very careful with the car. He tried to jump it which didn't work . He loaded it & then helped us push it into our garage. Service could not have been better. read more

The driver Bob was really rude. Asked if I should junk my car instead of getting it repaired. When he got the car to the machanic he asked "where do you want this pice of $hit? These guys illegally towed my daughter's car from her assigned parking spot at her appartment. Whoever called to have her towed had no verification that she was parked in the wrong spot as everyone had just moved in and the management company had not yet provided the tenants with that paperwork. After this happened she confirmed with the management that she was in fact parked in the correct place. They refused to take any responsibility for their actions. As a result, my daughter had to pay $180 to get her car back. read more

I have always had great experience with Campus Towing. Called AAA, and they arrived within about 20 minutes. In 2011, they jumped my car and made suggestions for where to either buy a new battery or have it replaced. The second time, they tried to get my car started and helped get it towed. They have always been very friendly and super helpful. I will definitely use them again if needed. read more

Day 228: Tower Power: Iowa Part 5: So I got myself stuck in a ditch while pulling out of a cemetery in Middle Amana. Amana, in this case, could probably be pronounced as "of nowhere". But with cell phone in hand, we managed to get connected to Campus Towing, and they connected us with Robert. Robert was great. Well, more specifically, Robert's giant winch was great, but Robert was great too. Very bad experience with Robert from Campus Towing this morning. He blocked a one way street and was very aggressive in his response and made no effort to let other people pass. A school bus had to wait even so there was a passing lane available for Robert to do his business, but he made it impossible for people to pass and get to work and to school and told people to "back the f*** off" asking him to move. Not a very nice experience for school kids to witness. read more

They put a new transmission in my car one week later the transmission went out and they refused to fix it again. The transmission was supposed to have a warranty. they also changed my oil and they did not put the oil filter on all the way so two days later my car was low on oil. They were also supposed to change my brakes and they did not do that but I was charged for it. read more
