Unfortunately, we have had many water leaks from the ceiling and the recessed lights. After yesterday's storm the "fixes" that the maintenance crew used previously have failed and the ceiling has caved. The water is now spreading in the ceiling to multiple rooms of the penthouse causing massive leaks and water build up. This is now impacting apartments below us. The maintenance crew has been unresponsive for mitigation actions. They will not cover any of the furniture or tarp the failing roof areas to mitigate further damages, after multiple requests. They have also used our beautiful china and our trash cans to catch water from the leaks. Finally, no one will speak with us about the remediation plan.

Go legit anywhere else…read more I've lived here for less than a year, and not a single month has gone by without major maintenance issues that make the apartment feel like a construction zone. When we moved in, the unit was dirty, with paint splatter on the floor. A cleaner was promised she showed up, barely touched the bathroom, then left and never came back. From day one, the WiFi didn't work for three days. The toilet had to be fixed six times before it functioned properly. The kitchen sink has leaked and exploded twice. The dishwasher leaked and fell out of the counter. The living room AC stopped working, and management initially refused to fix it due to "overtime" until legal action was mentioned. There's been a bedroom leak for four months that still hasn't been resolved. The only response has been putting in loud industrial dehumidifiers and repeatedly pulling up and re-gluing the same wet flooring. The living room windows leaked , twice. Hot water has been out for multiple days. The "luxury" amenities? Often broken , for example, the theater room was out of order for four months. Despite paying nearly $3,000/month, we've received nothing close to a livable, finished space. Management avoids real solutions and defaults to temporary fixes and dismissive responses. We asked for a lease break or one month of rent credit , both were ignored. If you want ongoing repairs, loud equipment in your bedroom, and unresponsive management this is the place for you. I've got pictures, videos, and detailed communications to back this up.

I don't buy because I don't want to be in St. Louis forever. I have been in my current home since 2020 with NO issues until 5/1/2025 when Austin Realty became the new management company over the property I rent. They took over when my lease was due to expire as of May 1st they never contacted me regarding renewal of my lease and it was 3 days before rent was due when they finally got me set up in portal to pay rent, which also wasn't correct I actually paid more then they showed due because I knew what I was suppose to be paying took them 3 months to get it right in their system. On Sept 5th I put in my first maintence request for a faulty outlet never heard anything from them until 9/16 when Monica contacted telling me that on 9/18 an investor needed access to the property for viewing. This alarmed me because as a long term renter I have been to this rodeo a couple of times, the norm for this type of sitsuation is an investor buys, rehabs the property, and raises your rent. I verbally elaborated this to Monica during phone call on 9/16, Monica assured me NO NO NO thats not the case. On 9/19 day after they came to inspect finally a maintenance man called me to look at outlet, which I had already bought a new one and unstalled it myself and didn't know I had to press the "test" on the new outlet for it to work yes I felt "stupid". On 9/23 I receive email from Monica with a new lease to sign and of course like I said raised rate after she said NO NO NO it was Yes Yes Yes I was right. I noticed the sewer rate was also increased from what I had been paying for past 5 years, I reached out to Monica with my concerns and asking for proof from city regarding raised sewer rate with no response. Leaving me in limo without a lease for 5 months is ludicrous, this management company is not fit or organized enough to facilitate property managment. I would not recommend anyone wasting their time. I hope the property owner see's and reads this so he knows he should have stayed with the previous management company. I would also like to add I don't need the stress this place is bringing me I am still dealing with both of my kids being dead!! I know they saw the Urn in my house.

Amazing! OUT-OF-STATE FRIENDLY As out-of-state buyers he visited homes on our behalf with his camera and a gyroscope, and uploaded videos to YouTube for us to review in a very timely manner. He made sure to cover every nook and cranny of interest and the virtual tours made us feel like we were actually there. PRIORITIZES YOUR BEST INTERESTS Dan was also highly proficient when it came time to make offers on homes, and had a strong sense of fair market valuations based on comps, and was able to figure out what a strong competitive offer would be based on seller agent intel, and what was just unreasonable. NO-FRILLS NEGOTIATOR When it came time to negotiate the terms of our agreement Dan always gave us multiple options to consider, laid out the pros and cons of each path, and shared his best recommendation. He always made us feel like we were in control even in tough situations. AMAZING NETWORK AND CONNECTIONS Dan is also highly networked in the real estate and home repair ecosystem and put us in touch with an amazing lender, title company, inspectors, and even helped us coordinate minor and more major repairs on the home with high quality contractors we knew we could trust. PERSONAL TOUCH With Dan we didn't feel like our home buying process was transactional in nature. He was always incredibly professional and highly personable and was a pleasure to work with.
