I have a vintage condo in the, Tower Grove East neighborhood of St Louis, thanks to Garcia Properties. When I made the decision to move back to STL from suburban life in IL, I knew I wanted to use Garcia Properties as my agent. I support several of their restaurants along Kingshighway and like how they truly believe in the city. The day I stopped in to start the process, I met with a young lady (forget her name) and she asked a variety of questions. She then matched me up with, Stefan Kelly. When we met, I told Stefan I wasn't under any time frame. My goal was to really find the perfect match. We worked as a team, I searched Zillow and followed other listings as well. I started out wanting a bungalow or some type of small house. Then I started looking at condos, as a possibility. Once I did that, I knew I was on the right track. Once I found the one that meet all my needs, Stefan and the Garcia team made it a reality. So, if you're looking for your first, or a new dream home, I highly recommend Garcia Properties. read more

Bridgette Fyvie represented me in the sale of my Princeton Heights home and I can't imagine the process going any better! My 90+ year old home had a few things come up on inspection that needed to be cared for quickly. Bridgette had contacts for everything. She coordinated getting some estimates and even met up with the companies when I couldn't be there. She was very communicative during the process and honest in her feedback. I highly recommend her! read more

DO NOOOOT RENT or BUY with GARCIA. Bunch an old houses and apartments with all kinds of issues and high prices. I got apartment 5 years ago... the condition of the apartment was unacceptable... I spent 3 days cleaning it. The closets and walls were completely ruined with cheap paint full dust, dog hair, grease and dirt. walls and closets were having humidity issues so I fixed and painted it to make it livable, the fired place was falling apart also I fixed. The apartment was a mess and my rent was pretty high but I made it for 5 years. After all that we decided to move out for the really bad condition of the building and i got a email from Sarah saying: "thanks for the effort and maintenance you did in the apartment but we won't process your deposit because you paint the walls dark" yes I did painting the 2 rooms dark for all the humidity and black water coming out of the walls... after 5 years putting my time and money to keeping that place together and clean all what i got was "thanks for the effort and we'll keep your deposit" what about if you guys pay me back for all the maintenance and effort I did for the last few years, all the water coming out of the walls ruining some of my clothes and furniture. 5 years when you guys never put one penny in the building or apartment. After I fixed all the issues they never fixed in 5 years they decided to keep the deposit because the color of the walls..... they expect me to live in the apartment with all the humidity and black water coming out from the walls for 5 years because they never fixed. read more

Brad and Emily are above and beyond. We had such a positive experience with Emily 15 years ago with selling our house in STL city before moving overseas and knew we wanted to work with her (and Brad this time!) in finding our home upon returning to the states. They are an absolutely brilliant team: knowledgeable, prompt, friendly, professional, personable, respectful and truly just really great people. Could not recommend more highly!!!! Oh, and they found us our DREAM HOME. Wonderful, beautiful humans and real estate agents. Thank you both endlessly! read more

We are so grateful for Anastasia's support buying our first home! She went above and beyond to be a responsive and calming presence as we navigated this process. We really enjoyed working with Joe as our buyers agent. He was prompt with all communications to us, worked around our time schedules, and was quick with follow up and push pushing for our needs with the sellers agent. Because of him we now have a beautiful home, we paid less than expected, and the process was far less stressful. read more

Steve and Courtney are quite the duo. Garcia Properties is a fantastic company and it was our agents that made the home buying experience top tier. We enjoyed two years with both of them patiently taking us throughout the city to look at homes. We are settled into a home and feel security and well prepared for this journey because of the care, intention, and education our agents provided. Purchasing a home is a lot of little things. I recommend a full serviced team that can help you with each stage of the process. We found our home and friends through this process. We will forever be grateful for this experience. read more

One of their realtors represented the buyer of my home and she was incredibly unprofessional. My property was left unlocked after they walked through pre-closing. She also allowed the buyers to move items into my home before closing. Absolutely unacceptable and negligent. Do not use this Jeanie Caro read more

Aileen is the best realtor we've ever worked with. She's honest, caring, communicative, and always had our best interest at heart. The home buying process can be challenging for even second time home buyers, especially in a seller's market -- however, Aileen helped us stay positive and sane throughout it all. She has all the intangibles that other realtors tend to overlook. When viewing properties, she's extremely attentive and thorough in her observations, and knowledgeable with all things related to the structure of a home, so that you feel comfortable in your own decision making process. We were very fortunate and grateful to have worked with her. read more

My husband and I were first time home buyers in the city. Cameron was a godsend. Shes local and knows the neighborhoods extremely well. She sent us listings meeting our requirements and requests regularly, would get us showings within a day or two of requesting, and was a true professional when it came to helping us make decisions. She'd walkthrough and point out issues and give us information on the water heater, HVAC, and electrical panel. We managed to find the house for us within a week and the day we decided to put in an offer she sat down with us on a Saturday evening to walk us through the best plan for putting in an offer to give us the best chances of getting the house and for the best price possible. After we went under contract she helped organize all the inspections and make our list of fixes to request to the seller (all of which were accepted). I was extremely nervous going into the home buying process but Cameron was the best person to have throughout it. read more

I cannot recommend Arin Webber enough. My wife and I are first time homebuyers, and Arin made the entire process as easy (and easy to understand) as possible from the first time we met her. She guided us through difficult decisions with great insight and expertise and kept us feeling positive and calm even when we hit bumps in the road during the process. We love our house and Arin made everything about the process of buying it easier. She gave great advice on negotiations, navigating seller repairs, and contractors to hire, and the mortgage broker and insurance agent she recommended were both able to get us way better deals than we were finding on our own. She knows St. Louis so well and immediately understood what we were looking for and helped us achieve it. I cannot say enough good things about Arin! I would highly recommend her to anyone, but especially to other first time homebuyers and LGBT people! read more

Working with Jennifer and the Garcia team is simply a great experience. I've purchased a home from Garcia that they fully restored, and, in turn, eventually sold that home through Jennifer Garcia. This is a realtor and company that knows the city of St. Louis very well and puts their client's best interests at the forefront. The entire process of selling a home with Jennifer was so easy and stress free. Her communication is top notch, and she really takes the time to get to know her clients. The process of buying a home, especially your first home, can be an extremely stressful and frustrating experience. With surprises lurking around each corner, it is a wonder how anyone can keep their head on their shoulders throughout the entire journey. With this being my first home buying venture, I thought I'd done my research, but there was so much more waiting for me. If I tried to go it alone, I would not be sitting in my first home today. Angie was able to make the process of buying a home as seamless as it could be. She let me know in advance what obstacles I would face. She had a team of people on standby that specialized in each step. But most importantly, Angie had relentless patience with my fumbling through listing after listing, not allowing me to "settle" for just buying a house. She made me hold out until I found my home. That's the difference that can't be bought! read more

When we decided we were ready to buy a home in the City in 2019, Dave Nall came highly recommended from close friends. Our previous experience selling our first home had left us with a lackluster impression of realtors overall, and Dave immediately set an extremely high bar for anybody we might work with later (although we honestly hope to never work with anybody but Dave if we can help it!). He has since helped us successfully buy our next home and sell the one that we'd loved but grown out of in the City. We have also recommended him to multiple people who he has helped successfully buy their homes (and they have also been thrilled with him). When we recommend him to others (or just sing his virtues to people who seemingly have no active interest in buying or selling their homes ), we cite how friendly, accessible, knowledgeable, and committed Dave is. Given his experience in construction as well as years of experience as a realtor, walking through a house with Dave means that you're going to get a very honest assessment of what he's seeing, he'll explain it in a way you can understand, and he can give well-informed estimates off the top of his head of what it might take to address anything you have questions about. He has gone above and beyond for us multiple times. With our most recent sale, there was work that needed to be done on the sewer before closing but we had already moved almost 40 minutes away and couldn't keep an eye on things. Dave kept us informed by visiting the site himself and coordinating with the workers; on the day of the final walkthrough he made sure to go by for us and confirm everything was in good shape. When we jumped a little too quickly into an offer a year or two ago and ran into an unexpected dealbreaking issue in the process, he helped us navigate out of it with grace and reassurance, while knowing that this meant he wouldn't be earning anything at that time. It was a stressful and semi-embarrassing experience for us, but Dave took it in stride. These are just two of many examples of times Dave has really come through for us. We truly can't say enough good things about working with Dave Nall. When we knew we ready to start actively looking for our next home, we were excited that it meant we'd get to hang out with Dave again because beyond his skill set, he's also just great company. If you or anyone you know is looking to buy or sell their home, you'd really be making a mistake by working with anyone else. read more

Four years ago, Rueben helped us buy our first home. This summer, he helped us sell it AND find our dream home. Whether you're buying or selling (or in our case, both) Rueben is extremely knowledge and thorough. He is patient and is a fierce negotiator, always advocating for his clients while still keeping it real about what's a reasonable ask and how the opposing might respond. He likes to lay out all of the information, with various options of how you could choose to proceed, while still calling out major red flags as needed. Rueben stuck it out with us for 6 long months and never once complained. Though it was quite a roller coaster, he was encouraging, kind, and helped us to keep things in perspective through it all. If you choose to work with Rueben, you're in excellent hands. He comes regarded as one of the best in the business. Thank you for everything, Rueben. read more

My wife and I had an amazingly smooth experience working with Emily in purchasing our home. Our search primarily focused on UCity and Clayton. In addition to being first-time homebuyers, my wife and I also went through the entire process remotely as we had not yet moved to the area. Despite these challenges, Emily was the best guide throughout. In finding a home, she took the time to get to know us, learn our preferences and budget, send us detailed video walkthroughs, comment on any homes we sent her, and send us homes she thought would be good fits. When we found homes we liked, Emily helped give us confidence when she agreed that a home was a good fit and expertly counseled us away from ones that seemed less ideal. And when it came time to make offers, negotiate, and close, Emily's deep local knowledge and experience meant that we always felt comfortable at each step. Emily is also easy to talk to and extremely communicative. Although we primarily worked with Emily, Brad was also super helpful in walking us through potential houses during the few instances when Emily was out of town. We could not more highly recommend Emily and Brad to anyone looking to purchase a home in St. Louis! read more

Anna Garcia is a dedicated professional with decades of experience. She fought the best possible price for us and obtained concessions that I would otherwise have been reluctant or too shy to ask. She is so calm and reassuring that now she is considered a member of the family. read more

This was my first time buying a home, and Rueben was extremely patient, informative, and and showed me probably 50 homes before I found the right one for me. I had the joy of working with Christy Andrews to secure my first home. Christy made the process as painless for us as homebuying can be. She was reliably available, communicative, honest, and kept our best interests at heart. We felt like she quickly caught on to our likes and dislikes and could speak on our behalf. Her expertise within the St. Louis market really shows, but even with years of experience under her belt, she is quick to follow changing market conditions and negotiation tactics. We bought our home in a highly competitive market and could not have won our offer without her guidance. Above all else, she is kind and extremely easy to work with. Mollie was a huge help as we both looked for new housing and sold our existing home. Her knowledge of the industry and St Louis is amazing. She helped us develop a detailed strategy for selling our existing home (from pricing to timing to staging). She also helped us greatly learn about the areas we were interested in moving towards and evaluating the properties available in those neighborhoods. Aside from her knowledge and expertise, what I valued most was her willingness to listen to our needs/wants and find us something that fit perfectly. And her responsiveness to our questions (both in timeliness and accuracy), was tremendous and very much appreciated. I'd definitely recommend Mollie to sellers or buyers (or both, like the position we were in). In fact, we've already recommended Mollie to friends and colleagues. read more

Adam Kepka is an incredibly helpful and professional real estate agent and you will be so happy to work with him. We're sure glad we did! We recently bought our first home and we are both 56 years old. Can you believe it?! We dipped our toe into the real estate market because the price of renting is skyrocketing in St. Louis. The market is really hot right now and buying at the top of the market means we had to be ready for anything. Adam was available to meet us whenever we asked and was always punctual, early even, just like us. Being first time homebuyers we had a lot of questions about the process and he was able to explain everything in terms we could easily understand. And best of all he was gentle when we would ask the same questions again and again. We really appreciate the connections he has in the community. For example, we asked for referrals for inspection companies and man, the choice we made based on his advice was perfect. He has reliable resources and contractor contacts that will stay with us well beyond our home purchase. Adam cares about his clients and that was so evident. He gave us the confidence we needed to purchase our mid century home. We didn't just hire a real estate agent, we made a friend. read more

We have never lived in St Louis, so the idea of trying to find a house from the other side of the country was daunting. Doubly so in a city that is so defined by its neighborhoods. We knew we needed an agent that was intimately familiar with STL, so we reached out to Garcia Properties, a longstanding local agency, and they introduced us to Todd. Todd was a great fit for us, showing us around the city and helping us pinpoint where we really wanted to look. During our couple months of searching we communicated frequently and helped us figure out the kind of competitive bids necessary for the crazy real estate market right now. I don't think we ever went more than a day or two without hearing from him. Once we had an offer accepted Todd went above and beyond to ensure the inspections were complete, even catching a couple of issues the inspector missed. After we finished closing he continued to watch over our house until our we were able to move to STL. As we were going through the buying process we mentioned to our family just how much Todd was doing for us. Every time they were surprised at how above and beyond he was willing to go. This is our first house and first realtor, and in both respects we consider ourselves lucky to have been able to work with Garcia Properties and Todd. read more

We just purchased a property with Garcia, and I cannot recommend our realtor Todd enough! As a clueless first-time home buyer I had no idea what I was doing, but Todd made the process so simple. He was so fast to respond to texts/calls/emails when we had questions throughout the process. We were never waiting on Todd during the offer/buying process, he was on the ball with all paperwork and communication. Most importantly, he used his industry knowledge and expertise to help us craft a competitive offer on a property we were sure we wouldn't get (but we did!). I truly don't think we would have gotten this home we did without his help. read more
