One of the most damn fun escape room's I've ever been to. When you initially arrive, the entrance is hidden in the corner of the plaza. You will descend down a set of stairs, as if you're entering into a secret lair, appropriately setting the atmosphere. We were greeted by Hunter, who was an absolute hoot. He had us laughing already even during the tutorial, and got us really amped up for the escape room. They also have water, bathrooms, and lockers in the main room, so all of the essentials are covered. The room itself was fantastic. We did the "Lucky Duck Speakeasy." It had great puzzles, great design, and fun props. They generously give unlimited hints, ensuring that everyone will have a fun time and nobody gets frustratingly stuck on any particular puzzle. The way they give hints is really well thought out as well. They will display some text on a monitor screen inside the room, and the monitor will chime whenever there's a new message. This solves the problem that other escape rooms have when you use a walkie talkie and can't understand what the hint giver is trying to say. They may also give the hint in a form of a riddle, so you still get that "AH-HA" moment when you solve it! Super satisfying. We had a really fun time, booked our next escape room as soon as we finished our first one.

Two months ago when Kate said all she wanted for her birthday was to go to an escape room, I was not sure how that could possibly happen! Then low and behold, I happened upon this amazing place! They had the best time solving the puzzles trying to get out of the room! Even though they didn't quite make it they had a grand time, and of course the very next question I got was, "when can we come again?!?" I strongly encourage those who like puzzles and mysteries that need to be solved to go and check them out! Tati the game master was brilliant and added to the fun of the day!

We came here for my son's birthday. We had a holiday themed Seattle Rock themed escape room. I love the nostalgia and the smart clues. Apparently, we had a difficult rated room. The staff were friendly, and we will definitely return. Thank you for such a fun evening!

Cypher Space review Ive done many escape rooms in the past. I brought 2 first timers and overall the experience was very fun. Thematically they start with a video and the workers there put the extra effort to make it feel real. The puzzles were pretty straight forward and when we were off track the crew was not far away to feed us some hints to keep us on pace. In my personal opinion I felt they gave us too many clues and too quickly but the two I was with really appreciated it and the quality of the puzzles and the personalized message for my birthday really brought this experience over the top. Its around 39$ for the room which I find a little pricey but I guess thats bellevue rent for ya. They truely are hard to find, no sign on the building haha

This place is soo fun. The space theme one and the Speakeasy has been intermediate level, but lots of clues and multiple rooms!! Love the whole ambience of the check-in area. I also enjoyed Whiskey, one of the game masters, thorough explanation of the rules even after watching the basic video of how to do escape rooms. Also, fun playful tips and humor from Adam, who responded to our group banter too. Highly recommend on the weekends, easy parking and not too busy.

Successful completion of CypherSpace!

CypherSpace was a super fun experience, which we were able to successfully complete within the hour! Rena was a fun and supportive host and went out of her way to make us all feel welcome. Thank you! Moments of excitement, confusion, focus, thought, teamwork, support, joy, elation, and achievement were just a handful of the feelings we experienced during this warp speed challenge. Loved the experience and hope to get back soon for the other challenges! With gratitude!

Our host (started with a B, don't want to say the wrong name) was phenomenal. He knew exactly when to provide the team a nudge in the right direction. All the puzzles were very clever but not so tough that you want to pull your hair out. We were able to escape with 22 seconds to spare! We had a blast. Thank you to our host especially! We couldn't have done it without him. Very well done.

My Experience Level: This was my 36th room. Room: Top of the Charts Price: $35.02 per person Group Size: 3 (all with equal or more experience than me) Theming: It's supposed to be someone's office, so I suppose there isn't much reason to be very extravagant when it comes to decor. Puzzles: I would say the most challenging part was that it wasn't always obvious which items you found went for which puzzle. This room was a lot of locks, so not a lot of variety in the mechanics. Hint System: I think they have a mode where they'll give you hints to keep you on pace, but we asked for no hints unless we specifically requested them. I liked that no walkie talkies were needed and we could just request a hint out loud, which were typed for us to see in the screen that also showed the time remaining. Outcome: Escaped with about 48 seconds to spare. Barely made it! Parking/Location: We missed it our first time around as we didn't see signage on the building. I included a picture of what the building looks like. A small parking lot in front and there was some parking in the back too. Would I Return: Maybe after doing more escape rooms elsewhere. Since it wasn't as technologically impressive as other rooms, I don't have a strong urge to come back right away.

Tati Soto was our game master and she was great. My group completed the Lucky Duck Speakeasy. We had so much fun. Tati was amazing at preparing our group beforehand and was so friendly and professional. Also, random side note for those that care, the facility was very clean and tidy, especially the rest room which I always appreciate.

Super fun escape room with some great effects! Liked that it was challenging but not too obtuse. A couple of fun surprises in store.

Disclaimer: our party used a Groupon and even with the Groupon it was around $130. This review is specifically for the Ice Walker room and in no way reflects the staff. They were nice. When our time started, I think we were able to complete one or two of the puzzles in the first room fairly easily. However there was one puzzle on the wall that when you solve it, a box should open. We completed that puzzle multiple times but the box did not open and we finally had to ask for a hint. The staff confirmed that we had completed the puzzle correctly and manually opened the box for us. They also added back a couple of minutes into our overall time. Where my issue lies is that I see that a month ago, there is a yelp review with the exact same complaint. Why hasn't the issue been fixed if that complaint was made a month ago? Other than the malfunctioning puzzle, our group had to use all three of our hints. Usually when you get a hint you understand where you might've gone wrong or you understand the reasoning behind the puzzle. However for this room in particular, we felt that there were a lot of things that just didn't make sense. The puzzles and the low quality equipment really took the fun out of the experience and we're not sure if we would return. A side note: a couple of people in my party have done two other escape rooms at Flee and they have had fine experiences with those. I believe both of those escape rooms were also five out of five difficulty. It seems that with our experience, combined with the other low reviews specifically for this room, that the Ice Walker room is to be avoided.

The Vault was sort of in beta, so there were things expectedly not quite working, and I won't fault the company for this. Overall, the puzzles were interesting/fun/dramatic to interact with, which is pretty great. That said... I don't love linear puzzle rooms, and this one was seriously that. We had 6? people for this room, but there was really only one puzzle available at a time (the one time there were two puzzles, the "meta" of them was brute-force-able, which means it wasn't even useful to do). I think you could count the number of puzzles total to be something like... 10 puzzles, which is a disappointing number especially with the number of people in the room. It makes me feel like they spent all their efforts into the fancy decor and flashy lights and ...story?, rather than puzzles. If you do come to do this escape room and you've done some before, I'd recommend a smaller number of people. It was generally obvious which puzzle was the one that needed doing; there was very little search-the-room so not much else for anyone else in the group while the single puzzle was being worked on. (And because the puzzles were so physically interactive, it wasn't really like multiple people could work on it at once.) Staff was friendly enough, though the front desk was usually absent. They do have a tiny photo booth closet which I think is fun! And they have a large parking lot shared with the fitness(?) next door so you don't have to worry about parking in downtown Redmond. I got tricked by the fitness and thought it wasn't there, but it is.

It was such a blast-everything in the room is a prop and we even got to do lots of interactive magic with the wand. We did get stuck a few times, but our guide Elina was able to give us hints when we asked the sorting hat nicely. Next we went onto Wizards Chest, which was more difficult but really fun. A good mix of brain teasers and physical games/puzzles. Both rooms are decorated so beautifully and we felt like we were a part of the Harry Potter magic. Elina was so great! She gave us just the right amount of help and set us up for success in both rooms before leaving us to figure it out. We also had a great time doing debriefs with her and she took lovely photos of us. This is the perfect rainy day activity to spice up a date!

Pros: -our hostess, Grace, was friendly and helpful -got to use a wand -started right on time -our kid loved it and was able to figure some things out on his own Cons: -items in the escape room were breaking down, most likely from people trying to pry open things that weren't supposed to be opened -costumes for photo ops were all ripped and unusable -the hostess spoke so fast (because she has the same script several times a day) that we didn't understand anything. Big props to the Puzzle Break team for allowing us to keep our time as they encountered a same day issue where one of their rooms was damaged. They handled it very professionally and we were still able to keep our time slot so we're thankful to the team. We had 8 people and surprisingly, most of us had something to do the whole time. Everyone had a part to play but some parts we partnered up to accomplish faster. Easily a room you can do with 4-8 people with moderate difficulty, with the more people making it easier. Puzzles were fun, a few challenging ones, but overall pretty linear progression without weird redundancies that can happen with some other escape rooms. This room is great to bring friends who are new to escape rooms as there are still a few surprises (not in the scary sense). Thanks to Puzzle Break for a great time! I didn't book the room so I didn't get the name of the person my friend spoke to but during our experience Neo did the introduction prior to the game and guided us on time when we asked (we only asked for one hint so there was minimal interaction on that part). I can't imagine trying to do this room with strangers or people who shut down when frustrated. The Facility. I wasn't sure what to expect trucking all the way out to the Georgetown warehouse district, but I was pleasantly surprised! Its clear that having such a large building allows Seattle Escape to build big games with multiple rooms and lots of decor/detail. There is also plenty of space to park, which is a rare and beautiful thing in Seattle.
