The rooms are fairly dark and we struggled a bit with seeing some of the hints. Fairly linear order of solving puzzles relative to some escape rooms so having a larger group is not an advantage and letting the kids get a stab at some of the mechanics may not be recommended for the more competitive groups. This was not a top 5 escape room but somewhere in the top quartile. They had some very cool interactive programming that was impressive. Some of the video sequences were on the slower side with a slight lag. The Harry Potter theme was def a plus! In Seattle region the top 1 is still Locurio - Storykeeper. But wizarding school was better than some others I been.

We only used one hint in each room, the puzzles were challenging but not so difficult that we couldn't solve it. They were also very unique, definitely not traditional puzzles and the decor made them all the better. I wouldn't recommend doing more than a party of 4-5 players, there were some puzzles that some of our party couldn't quite join in on or having too many cooks in the kitchen made it more challenging than it needed to be. Our game master, Mindy, was super sweet and helpful and only offered hints when we asked. We're interested in trying out the other rooms the next time we're in Seattle!

There was another group there and the co-owner Van gave us all a brief but thorough throwing and safety training and then gave us throwing tips throughout the time we were there. He was a great coach and had a good sense of humor. It takes a while to get the hang of axe throwing so don't give up if the first half hour doesn't go as well as you'd like it to go. I felt we both really hit our stride during the second half hour. My hubs and I both hit the bullseye three times each! And this is only our second time throwing axes. Highly recommend this place for a fun birthday celebration, friends night out, or work team building activity. It's so much fun and you just might be surprised at how much you enjoy throwing axes!

(And since it was a quiet holiday, we did not get to play against other people.) No need to worry though, as Callie, our show Host, made sure to pick games that were absolutely perfect for all members of our family! Callie had the right amount of enthusiasm for kiddos and I bet she'd be a blast for a group of all adults, too. The game host really do provide a great game show experience and the room itself felt big so no one was left feeling squished. I wasn't entirely sure what to expect, but the experience turned out to be much more entertaining than I anticipated. First, a helpful tip on finding the place: Parking at Lincoln Square was easy, but the entrance to Game Show Battle Rooms is actually outside the building. You'll need to exit onto the street, walk a short distance, and enter through its separate exterior entrance. The facility appears quite new, and everything was clean, modern, and nicely maintained. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We had a fairly large group gathering in the lobby before our event, and our organizers had arranged for an open bar with food and snacks, which made the waiting and socializing especially enjoyable. Once everyone was organized, we were divided into two groups and sent into separate game show rooms. Our room was set up like a television studio, with two opposing teams, professional lighting, and a dedicated host who kept everyone engaged and entertained. The games were inspired by classic television favorites, including The Price Is Right, Wheel of Fortune, and Family Feud. The professional host did a fantastic job managing the games, keeping things moving, and adding plenty of humor and energy to the competition. It really felt like participating in your own television game show! I can genuinely say I had more fun than expected. Of course, the great company and a few drinks probably helped, but the experience itself was very well executed. Since this was a company-sponsored event, I don't know what the regular pricing looks like. However, I'd definitely be interested in returning with a large group of family or friends. It seems like an excellent activity for corporate team building, birthday celebrations, or simply getting a group together for something different. Overall, a really fun and memorable experience that exceeded my expectations. I'd happily recommend giving it a try!

As someone who hasn't lifted a brush since grade school art class, I was skeptical that I could produce art that would come close to resembling the example. I felt a bit stressed but mostly enjoyed trying something new in the midst of good drinks and good company. In the end, I would say everyone produced a nice looking painting, and it was fun to notice the different "styles" between people. I'm happy with my end result! Brent worked closely with us to make sure we understood the process of submitting customized trivia questions. It was also so fun to have different kinds of trivia (standard, misfits, frenzy modes and more), and they have so many amazing mini games to sprinkle in amongst the trivia sections. Our guests weren't expecting it and loved it. Also, 100 League's control boxes are the best - the design is so smart, the four arcade buttons feel perfect, the emojis-as-teams concept works perfectly, and it was great not having to worry about guests using their phones as controllers (wifi / network issues and low batteries were never a concern with the control boxes). Thanks again, 100 League!
