I had a lot of questions--even while he was working in the attic and I was halfway up the ladder asking him things --and he took the time to answer every single one and explain what he was doing. What I appreciated most was that there was absolutely no pressure or attempt to upsell me on anything I didn't need. He was straightforward, professional, and genuinely helpful. The company was responsive, and the price was very reasonable compared to other HVAC services in the area. It's refreshing to have someone come out, do good work, answer your questions, and not make you feel like they're trying to sell you something. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them!

He thoroughly explained, in easy-to-understand terms, what was wrong with our system and the options available to fix it. After considering the possibility of repeated repairs down the road, we decided it made more sense to replace the entire system rather than continue replacing individual parts. Briana was also very helpful in guiding us through financing such a major expense. She sent over the terms of our agreement and paperwork via e-signature and explained on what to expect since we were financing. She assured us we were not going to be charged until after the job was officially completed. On installation day, Mike and Andrew arrived and worked hard throughout the entire day. The overall price was fair, including the additional crane cost needed to place the unit on the roof. During the installation, they discovered that one of the parts (sensor) was not working properly. Mike assured us that he would not leave until the AC was functioning--and he kept his word. What stood out most was Mike's patience and kindness. Even when our kids came by and interrupted him with questions or small talk while he was working, he was genuinely pleasant, patient, and respectful with them. Mike even educated us about the system should it have an issue or leak and what to look out for. That meant a lot to us as a family. Mike returned the following day to recheck the system and replace the malfunctioning part. We truly appreciate the team's thoroughness, professionalism, kindness, and hard work. We are very grateful for the excellent service from Chris, Briana, Andrew, and Mike at HVAC and Chill.

Someone had posted about needing AC help about an hour before I started searching, and I grabbed Damien's info from one of the comments--so shoutout to Chino Connects for coming through! I reached out late morning and he was able to come out the same day. He showed up when he said he would, diagnosed the issue pretty quickly, and explained everything in a way that actually made sense. He replaced the bad part, cleaned out my unit (which definitely needed it ), and added refrigerant. Within a couple hours, my AC was back to blowing ice cold air He was super communicative the whole time and even sent photos/videos of what he was working on, which I really appreciated. I always thought highly of Absolute Air Flow. We actually had an entire new system installed five…read moreyears ago. The other day my unit was not cooling and I had a gentleman come out to check it out. He proceeded to tell me that the compressor has gone out and he got his boss on the phone and they wanted to charge me $23,000 for a completely new system then drop the price down to $17,000. I could not believe what I was hearing as this entire unit inside and out was only five years old. I decided to call another company out and have them look at it and the gentleman that came said there's nothing wrong with our unit. It's fine but because it is a newer unit, everything is electronic and the inside furnace and the outside air-conditioning unit communicate with each other. The outside unit had shut down and the gentleman said you just have to shut the power off to each unit for a few minutes and then turn them back on so that they can communicate with each other. The inside unit and the outside unit have individual breakers and that's all he did was turn them both off and turn them back on and the unit is working fine now. He used all his gauges and checked everything and said everything was fine. That cost me $88. I can't believe absolute Airflow sent someone to my house that had no idea that you could do that. And they wanted to charge me so much money for another system. I will never call them again. If I could give them zero stars I would. Shame on you, Absolute Air Flow

From the beginning, the team carefully evaluated our existing system and took the time to explain our options. They provided very reasonable quotes for several different systems, with a clear and detailed breakdown of costs so we could make an informed decision. They also helped us identify available discounts and rebates, which made a big difference. A special thank you to Don, who worked hard to justify the investment and answer all of our questions. Thanks to his knowledge and patience, my husband was finally able to get the Daikin system he had been hoping for. The installation process was fast, professional, and handled with great care. The crew was respectful of our home, paid attention to detail, and left everything spotless when the job was finished. We truly appreciate the excellent service from Jesse, Don, Andres, and Ivan. Their professionalism, honesty, and dedication made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. We highly recommend Magnolia Heating & Cooling to anyone looking for quality HVAC service at a fair price.

This company is not for your average middle class consumer, maybe more for the wealthy? I don't…read moreknow, but as military family we are certainly not rich enough to use them. The company I use to use went out of business so I picked this company to try out since it's a Riverside local and I've seen their billboard in town. Initial call was for regular summer maintenance and their employee Adrian was nice and informative but did say I had a problem with my mini split that would require a follow up service call. Fast forward to this week. Jesse (also nice employee - no beef there) came out and said he could not determine issue with mini split under the service call ($75) and so he'd have to call the AC manufacturer and talk with them to discover the problem. This would be an advanced diagnostic and a fee of $230 AND I was warned that if he was on hold for a long time it would still charge by the hour and it could be up to $400+ just for him to be on the phone!!! WILD. Luckily he got through in a decent amount of time and during that that diagnostic with the manufacturer on the phone he said I needed a new condensation pump at a whopping $892. I could swallow a $1000 bill (while dying inside) so of course agreed to it, completely my choice. After that fix however the AC was not blowing cold so then he said it needed a leak detection test at $455. So from that diagnostic (are you counting this will be the 3rd diagnostic during the same day!) he said he found 4 flares leaking and to fix them and top of the refrigerant lost I was looking at approximately $1,598 MORE- this is where I finally decided to stop the madness and decline further service. I would be at near $3k to fix a mini split that was less than 5 years old! Granted this company did not do initial install but O-M-G for these prices it was halfway to buying a new one!! They did in the end take off $233 from the final bill because I had signed up for their maintenance club membership on the initial call but after I use my last regular cleaning service from them in the winter I will no longer be using this company. So 1 star for having amazing friendly technicians but minuses all the other stars for the absolutely ridiculous diagnostic charges that don't even go towards the cost of repair and for my air conditioner still not working close to $1400 dollars later.
