The blinds in the bedroom were chewed by my dog a bit. I asked the owner if I could remove the items he said no and I was on a group thread with danielle and I was able to go remove some items. Screen door was mine so I took it off. He was trying to charge me 300 for a replacement that cost 150 at Home Depot $300 to remove the bamboo and string lights in the backyard that I removed in two minutes and the bidet I was charged $95 for not removing. Applying she charged me $300 for and I sent him the exact measurements of the same ones at Home Depot that were $35 Again, Danielle is great unfortunately the owner of the building really gouge me .

Prior to my tour, I was in contact with Teja who was very helpful. When it came to the day of the tour, I guess there was a mix up in agents, but Janaka ended up showing up to the building, to give me a tour of the place. He was super friendly and very knowledgeable! :) During the application process, the application is very old school. It took us a few days to get everything together. We had to print and scan a bunch of documents then submit it via email. From what I know of family who work in the industry, most applications are done online and you can submit information as well as link bank accounts electronically lol. I wasn't comfortable submitting all of our personal information via email, so I asked for them to call me for additional information that I'd be able to provide over the phone. Although the application process was odd, the service was pretty great. The only reason I deducted a star was because like other reviews have said, they don't get back to you after your application. I had to keep reaching out to them to get answers. I also didn't like that they assume instead of verify. My husband and I rent an ADU in Commerce, but they said "currently listed address in application doesn't seem to be a rental". My husband has been here a few years and I just moved in last year. His driver's license and some bills reflect our current address, but we were never asked for additional information to verify. We also make well over the standard 2.5-3x income. I am pretty chill so I'm okay with not being selected for the unit as it is privately owned, but I didn't appreciate having to wait and keep asking for updates on why we weren't selected lol. Anyways, great people! It's just the communication that could be better and more clear. The WORST management company ever! I have lived at my unit for over 16 years now where this complex…read moreis likely 80 years or so old with little to no improvements...our rent is "cheap". We all have understandably had many issues with the upkeep as the owners and management company don't ever want to fit things professionally or at all. Worst is now it is causing damaged to my vehicle which the management company says that isn't their issue while not returning my phone calls or voice message and taking if further by now deleting my maintenance requests every time I put one in....and since the owner says that I am lying about it. Lying? Sounds like someone is pushing blame and not wanting to handle their responsibilities to me. Lying about what? Look at the photos! The overhead until of the garage I park in has had leaky pipes off and on for years which has been packed and not professionally every time it's gotten so bad we can't just ignore said issues anymore. Now that daily I have more damage to my vehicle I'm told I'm a layer and, I don't know, I just feel like lying about it or am I photoshopping these photos or what? Seriously! Perhaps the management company should handle these issues before further damage is caused if they don't want to deal with the further damage from their lack of professionalism.
