We started looking for homes about a year ago with Jeremy Asmus through Kenmore and appreciated him…read moreso much on our way to finding the perfect house! He was always on our side and helped make our first home buying experience as simple and stress-free as possible. He was fantastic about answering all our questions and giving us good advice. Jeremy was always available for home tours on a moments notice. He was prompt with his responses and always seemed prepared. We would recommend him to anyone!

I recently joined the Kenmore team because I was tired of being a property manager. I brought them…read morea completely remodeled property. Everything was freshly painted inside and out. When I walked through it with them, we discussed how they would be a little move in cleaning cleaning, since everything was brand new. I expected that agreement to be honored When I got the cleaning bill, I was dismayed. I was charge for full cleaning as if it was a move in disaster. WhenI inquired they told me three cleaning staff had to mop the newly painted already mopped floor five or six times. That is a complete fabrication or they were milking the job. I had a witness with me before they cleaned and took pictures so I disputed this claim. Kenmore operations refuses to do any kind of dispute, resolution, even though we discussed the lower cleaning rate, New customers might want to check out the dispute resolution process as so far my emails are ignored by the operations manager, with no response after disputing for two months. My issue is basic principle. I do not like it when people take it advantage of me or not honoring agreements. I am keeping my eyes open as this is my first experience with Kenmore Team. I have had to work with the operations team on Appliance Repair, and we have had a modicum of success there. I am just I'm unhappy about the lack of dispute resolution and complete lack of communication regarding my concern. I guess I'm just supposed to suck it up when they thrust bills on me that I don't agree with.

Consider renting a property that isn't managed by this company…read more We have always made an effort to be low maintenance tenants and handle everything we can out of pocket. I have always tried to make my property manger's life easier as a token of karma, should we ever need something from them. I have repaired appliances and toilets at this property, paying out-of-pocket for materials. I paid for an exterminator to spray the premises for an alarming number of paper wasp hives after being stung multiple times (most painful sting I've experienced to date). We have paid rent on time and kept the property in great shape. I even showed the property to prospective tenants. In hindsight, that was a mistake with this company. Renting from them is very much a business transaction for them. When we purchased a home a month before our lease expired, they took every time they could out of our security deposit, including an $800 lease break fee that isn't mentioned anywhere in the lease or the landlord/tenant law handbook they provide. They charged $48 to clean the sink and oven, though both were left spotless. $120 for locks, $152 for carpet cleaning, etc. So consider renting elsewhere. Perhaps we were spoiled by previous landlords that put effort into the relationship part of the business. Don't expect that here. Don't do anything that is not required of you. Expect an experience not dissimilar to renting from an apartment complex.

We hired Debbie to manage our units and were disappointed. I'm not sure our tenants received…read moreinitial contact or welcome packets promised as they had to get her info from me. Our tenants reported the app was difficult to work with, work order requests and communications seemed to be at a very low and incredibly slow level or responses were altogether lacking. Listings were posted with incorrect information. In 3 short months, we had 3 lease break fees as Debbie was not able to work quickly in resolving issues, satisfying our renters, and avoiding contract breaks. Water leaks were not fixed before mold growth invaded. We lost over $18,000 in rental income from vacancies in 2023 and came away feeling she was in it just for the buck. She never issued us an apology. Save yourself the grief and find a different property management company.
