    Vegan Poutine bucket...!

Great Taste! Fries are Amazing! Poutine is out of this world, especially as it's available with Vegetarian and Vegan Gravy and Cheese.

Tried this place out at an event. I was blown away by the number of sauces they had, and the fact that they had A KETO BUN! I didn't get to try the beef patties but they looked really good. They give you poutines in buckets! BUCKETS! I tried the philly cheesesteak roll. ..it was so delicious!!! And the bread was so soft and from Cobs Bread. I love the way it looks inside and the staff was so nice. I bought a few sauces from them. They were so good!

This is how it's supposed to be done.

I drove out of my way on a trip back from Guelph to eat here, and I was surely not disappointed. I got the Real Big Burger with a side of fries and a Lug Tread on draft, which was a terrific combination. The Real Big Burger is presumably named so because it is the big burger at Real Burger. Although it is not small by any means, it is also not real big by burger standards. Nonetheless, although it is hard to come up with any definitive ranking, it is easily in the top ten burgers I've ever had. Real Burger really knows how to make an excellent burger. It's pretty near to a basic bacon cheeseburger, but done about as well as it can be done, from the perfect patties to the fresh crusty bun. I wish more burger places realized how important a good bun is. The fries were also perfectly done, with the skins on. Not too oily, not too salty. There is a stand in the middle of the restaurant with many hot sauces, where I found a nice bottle of jalapeno sauce that went perfectly with them. My meal was not cheap for a burger joint, clocking in over $30 with the tip, so it wouldn't be a frequent indulgence. That's fine for me since I don't live nearby. There doesn't appear to be much around this area, but I've just found a new reason to detour this way if I'm ever nearby.

Checked this place out for the first time thanks to the great reviews. We left FULL. It was delicious. Tried the Real Big Burger combo and the Real Poutine. Burger was thick and juicy and the Poutine used actual curds. This place is kid friendly as well - sat in the big comfy booth near the window. Also the free surprise mini ice cream cone at the end of our meal made our daughters night! The hot sauce bottles in the middle of the seating area is a great idea as well - so many to try. Never had jalapeño mustard before! Great little spot.

Amazing burgers and poutine every time I'm here! Awesome veggie options too, amazing spicy olives, great selection of drinks and hot sauces! Really have to try more of the sides and salads too!

Excellent burger extremely tasty both patties and the sauce. Portion was super big. Best part of it is they give out free ice cream to us at the end of our meal. Service wise i really like their staff, friendly and professional. Will definitely come by again.

Best burger I have had in a while. Can't wait to have one again.

Great service and great food. A bit expensive but it's not really a fast food burger place. Love the hot olives.

Everything is made in house and nothing is deep fried and no refined sugar used.....so no guilt happy eating. They have an extensive dessert display and I had the peach crumble bar which was yummy! I shared the cauliflower wings with spicy sauce and arancini with cashew "blue" cheeze. Both were tasty and satisfying. I wanted the potato soup with coconut bacon but found it slightly bland and it just tasted like coconut chunks in the soup vs "bacon" flavour(likely seasoning dissolved off in the soup). I had the warrior "taco" which was basically a lettuce wrap. It was very tasty but difficult to eat snd messy. The sun dried tomato flavour was so good. I love lettuce wraps but need to find a clever way of eating it more neatly. Hubby and friend had the chickpea burger with baked sweet potato and regular fries. We all left satisfied and happy

My favourite vegan/vegetarian restaurant so far…read more I appreciate that they use real ingredients and abstain from refined sugars... I ordered the: 1. Falafel bowl: The tzatziki sauce tasted exactly like tzatziki sauce using yogurt etc. The falafels are baked and not deep fried. Con for me was the price - $16 is steep. 2. Pumpkin cheezcake: Absolute must get. I prefer this to regular cheesecake - sweetened with maple syrup. The crust is made from dates and maybe something else. The coconut whip cream is a nice substitute for the regular whip cream. GET THIS. 3. Oat cranberry walnut cookie: Get this - end of story 4. Double chocolate sweet potatoe cookie: This was a bit odd; It was not as satisfying as the oat cranberry walnut cookie. However, I still devoured it. Service: The ladies behind the counter were very helpful, and patient with me. The kitchen seemed a bit slow, given the restaurant was only 20% full. If I'm in Hamilton, I will definitely visit again.

I remember a lot of southern comfort foods and vegan/vegetarian items for my niece's friend, Joi. Which she wasn't. Jk. We had a bit of a wait due to time of day and it being a smaller restaurant. The staff were all very friendly and I recall our server being quite attentive. My niece had a brisket hoagie. A great sandwich once you get past the pickled onion. We really enjoyed their fried chicken/mac n cheese concoction and an outstanding loaded poutine. All in all the food was very good, proportionate and reasonably priced (esp after the exchange rate). The atmosphere was acceptable and the people were extremely likable.

Which was super helpful as two thirds of it went into the fridge and was reheated for lunch. Delish! [Review 1467 of 2024 - 144 in Ontario - 22490 overall]

Immaculate vibe, but the food was always just ok, and I remembered it was always expensive. This time I got the chicken waffle. It's a sweet waffle topped with one fried chicken thigh & sweet tangy gochujang and a fried egg. Don't get me wrong, it was good, but I wouldn't say it was a big portion like what you'd get from a traditional diner place. It was 24 dollars - so over 30 dollars after tax and tips. It's kinda wild just to think about it... My partner got the Electric Benny - same thing, it was a lot pricier than other diners with the same amount of food. I think 25 dollars for 2 eggs, a slice of fried French toast and some avocado & home fries was pricy. In addition, she got drip coffee on the side which was almost like 6 dollars after tax - that's a crazy price for diner drip coffee. Her basic, mid diner breakfast meal with a moderate portion size came down to almost 35 dollars. To me that's unacceptable. The service was fine. But yeah, I hope electric diner can adjust the pricing in some way...last time I checked, people in Hamilton were not millionaires.
