They owe all their…read moresuccess to being the only dry cleaning and tailor service in the immediate area, so what can you expect when there's no competition? When you're given a price for a specific type of alteration, expect to find nothing done on the pickup date. Expect them to "forget" English and conveniently misunderstand your directions, later changing the original price you agreed upon - probably to double what you were told, even though the work was never done in the first place. Expect them to also tack on more work that "needs" to be done, thus raising the price more, regardless of what you told them you actually want them to do. When you originally leave your number upon drop-off, expect absolutely no calls if there's an issue like this, or even about whether your garment was finished or not. Like dealing with children, YOU have to check up on THEM to make sure everything is alright (and that the price stays the same), because you will never know there is a problem until it's too late. Classic Cleaners is unreliable and unprofessional, and if you cannot find or reach another place instead (which I HIGHLY recommend, even if it's a bit farther away), make sure you don't have any urgent deadlines, because you'll be stuck there ironing out way more than just pant creases.

The primary reason I used this service is that they offered Free Pick up and Delivery. I recently attempted to place an order to have my laundry picked up and discovered they now charged a 7.99 Pick Up and Delivery fee through UBER in EACH direction. That is now an additional 15.98 fee on top of their original services. Uber doesn't offer door to door service so I presume I'd be required to bring my laundry to the driver outside, and that's not acceptable either. Though I was satisfied with the work they did cleaning and folding my shirts they no longer offer the very service I was using them for, and I have to change my review down to 2 stars. I would also like to be transparent that one of their friendly employees reached out to me after I left a message with their reception service (that's another problem actually, why is a local business using a reception service with operators from outside the US? They should be employing someone local from the community.) Alan sent me a text message offering me a coupon code with a discount. I thanked him but declined, as it was not enough to make a difference and I would still be paying more, plus it doesn't change the fact that they are now charging for a service that was previously free. If Cleancart returns to offering free pick up and delivery I'll be more then happy to update my review back to it's original rating.

Alan came and dropped off my bag, but it looked small and when I got it inside it was dish towels and linens and not my things. (Though I did find my sheets inside!). I called and Alan came back right away. We had to open all four bags that he had on the truck because my items were scattered throughout every other bag. And I still didn't receive all of my items. I work in vet med, and I am out a few sets of medical scrubs from this event, which are NOT cheap, among other items. Cleancart told me they would look for my things, but they never followed up after the initial email where *I* had to reach out to *them* for a refund. Alan mentioned to me that they recently switched laundromats, and it was apparent that this new place washed all of laundry that day together. Quite disappointing as I assumed it was a given that my laundry would be washed by itself. I can no longer trust this service :(.
