Since they are new, they leave customers be (not as friendly) but focus on their work. Place was empty when I arrived (9:10am) and they are already busy with drop off services. A customer came in shortly after I filled some machines. Social distancing at its best. Time will tell if they are just as clean as the old management. Also, the old management was too busy and sometimes unaware/lax about face mask coverings. I seen more than a few customers enter without masks; I usually inform the staff who tell them to wear masks or give out free disposable face masks. I hope this new management will be diligent in making sure all customers enter with face masks and continue to wear it covering both the nose & mouth. The prices are…read moreoutrageous: washers and dryers are expensive, detergent and laundry bags are overpriced (a single bag is $7, when you can get three next door for the same price!), and even the vending machine charges almost $2 for a small bag of chips. To make matters worse, a lot of the machines were broken, which made it harder to even get my laundry done. The environment itself also needs improvement -- there are a lot of people coming and going, some just hanging around, and it doesn't feel particularly welcoming or organized. The only good thing I can say is that I was able to finish my laundry, but that's about it. Definitely recommend checking out other laundromats in the area before settling on this one.

I first stumbled upon this place because I saw good reviews for another dry cleaner nearby. I took…read moremy white J Crew peacoat (which I had stupidly tossed in the wash because it accumulated a few stains since I bought it) to that other cleaner but they told me it would be near impossible to clean and fix the now misshapen coat. So I left and randomly walked into Top Dry Cleaners next door, figuring I'd give the coat another shot. The friendly guy at the counter quickly marked the stains and was like "Yup, it'll be ready in two days. Oh by the way, we deliver and pick up from the lobby of your apartment." So convenient. They also took in a Helmut Lang sweater that was too big even though he said it might be hard because it's a knitted sweater. And they tailored a large vintage velvet coat BEAUTIFULLY and for a great price. Hemming more than 2 feet of fabric and lining, waist nipping, shoulder pad removal+alteration, button resewing, hole patching, AND dry cleaning for $130. To put this into context, when I took this coat to a nearby specialty tailor and asked for nothing other than alterations of the shoulder pads, the guy shooed me out with one look at the coat, saying "This will be TOO EXPENSIVE (his exact words) you won't be able to afford it"! (He was friendly about it and I appreciated the honesty.) I did take a few cashmere sweaters here with holes and the repairs weren't seamless, so I wouldn't do that again. But what did I expect for $3/hole? I'm just glad the sweaters are wearable again for now before I take them to AlterKnit or some other expensive but specialty hole-repair service.

You ever had someone make it their business to get a stain out for you because it's been bothering you for so long ? The ladies at Ez wash does just that.
