This laundromat is goated, I've been to laundromats throughout the boroughs and this one has a large selection of machines, they have an easy system, refill or buy a new card on a machine ( no Amex) the place is super clean, the machines are also cheap!! DO NOT DROP OFF LAUNDRY HERE So I'm a pretty laid back customer, but after handing in all my whites (T-shirt's and work shirts) they came back with black spots/drops all over the 10+ items. I'm like "okay, these people seem nice, let me talk to them". They basically said that they couldn't verify that the spots were there before (like, really, I'm gonna get identical black spots all over 10+ items) and refused to discuss any compensation. On a human level, that's just incredibly SHITTY and I'm out several hundred dollars for new work stuff. So if you don't want your stuff ruined please don't do drop off with these people!!!! read more

I called them to ask what their hours were. When I asked "When can the last wash go in?" the woman on the other end paused then got very nasty and said "IT DOESN'T MATTER. WE CLOSE AT 7!" Any laundromat owner knows that's a valid question. They will NEVER get my business. They don't even deserve one star. read more

Nancy is great and they do a great job with my stuff and when I have time to do my own I have no worries about leaving my stuff there and waiting at home because I know she won't let anyone swipe it. Been going here for years! read more

I've washed my clothes here a few times but not regularly. The owner lady is extremely rude to customers. I asked to use the restroom and she snapped back "bathroom is private not for customers". All other laundromats I've been to have open access to restrooms plus not to mention you just don't snap at customers like this. Absolutely rude and not worth my future business. read more

It's the only place I've gone for the past 5 years I've lived in the neighborhood. I drop clothes off and do my own laundry, depends on the day. I've never had a problem. The owners are great people and remember not only my partners and my name, but also his parents. Helps make a big city feel like home. read more

Dropped off wash and fold. Came to pick it up and my delicates (including lacy underwear) were hanging in the middle of the laundromat for everyone to see and for anyone to steal. In addition, multiple items came back not clean. I went back to tell her and she said "that's impossible - stains must not come out." Poor service and rude owners. Today is my boyfriend and my last day in Greenpoint before we move to Prospect Heights and I couldn't leave the 'hood without saying how amazing Nassau Laundry is. Laundry is usually ready in a matter of hours and if something's urgent, they'll prioritize you. Plus, it's not too expensive. But most importantly, the man and woman working there always remember us and ask about our days. Today, when I went to pick up the laundry before the movers arrived, she asked me without any prompting how our packing was going and when the movers would be here! New York is a huge city, but people like the staff at Nassau Laundry make it feel like a small town where everybody knows your name. I'll miss this place! read more

My washing machine at my apartment actually broke down and while I wait for my new machine I've been visiting each laundromat in greenpoint and this one is by far the worsed yet! There employees are very rude when talking to their customers and always have smart remarks. When I dropped off my clothing I had to take it to another location to get rewashed because the job was subpar. Further more I see that they leave other clients clothing all around while they are attempting to multitask. I'm sorry but I do not want anyone seeing or stealing any of my thing! I highly recommend not coming here is you truly care about your clothing and of course most importantly customer service with they clearly lack! I don't expect much when it comes to wash and fold, but Nassau Laundry does the job at a really reasonable price! They are also always friendly and remember my name. Nothing too exciting or fancy of course, but it is great knowing that you can have a quick and reliable same day drop off service for not too expensive! It's silly -- but I really miss this place! It used to be my laundromat, but I have since moved to the tip top of Greenpoint & have to take my dirty clothes to places a little less pleasant. Owned by a kind family that lives around the corner. They'll remember you if you're a regular. But the best is that they'll always take care of your drop off bag immediately -- you can pick it up the same day, a few hours later, folded & fresh & ready to go. read more

Walked in today to drop off laundry haven't been in the place in a few years. The lady behind the desk was talking to another woman in the laundromat while she was writing my receipt up. She asked for my name, I told her, she looked at me and goes "wow you gained so much weight" I responded by telling her "that isn't how you should speak to customers" her response was " well I put on weight also" I repeated "that's still not how you should speak to your customers" and I walked out. Didn't appreciate being spoken to, this isn't the first time I've dealt with her saying something "silly" it's been done multiple times in past (hence why I haven't been there in years) I guess it was my fault that I decided to do business with them again. I've learned my lesson and won't be receiving business from me again. read more

This laundromat has great service! Nancy greet's my wife and I by name every time we walk in! She's such a kind and sweet woman.

Drop-off service is quick and the owners are very amicable. I had the same issue as another reviewer where one of my white shirts came back with black spots all over, but all of my other experiences here were fine. read more

Owned by a local family, they are quick to greet familiar faces, have long hours and same-day laundry drop-off that won't break the bank.
